You didn't ask me for a star review but I'll give you 1 of 5. One star because this is a full-service moving company but it's a very difficult process. I was actually told by a local representative that the call center folks "are not great". That's pretty damning. And that was my experience. Each person thought they knew what they were talking about or told me the wrong information, resulting in hours on the phone and hundreds of dollars I didn't need to spend. I have twice asked UHaul to review previous phone calls because incorrect information was given. Even at the last step, when a mover came to the Englewood facility to pick up my U-Box, they told him they had no record of this appointment. I called and gave the date and mover information THREE TIMES. You should be refunding me for internet at this point. I will never use UHaul again.

I reserved the location closed to my house. The email confirmation 29654064 confirmed where I was to pick up the truck. But when I got there, they made me go 5 miles down the road to pick up my truck. I did not get an email of the change. The location I was sent to was 5 miles one way, further away adding 15 extra miles. I think I shouldn't have been charged the extra $15 for the extra milage. My registration sent me to a different location at 4849 sante fe drive Littleton. At that location which is what my registration stated I waited in line for 45 minutes to be spoken to extremely rudely by an older woman who stated I was at the wrong location. I showed her my registration and she shrugged and sent me to the other location. She was horrible and waiting that long for that response was infuriating. The woman working at the 2727 was very nice and helpful!! She is the only reason I may consider using uhaul again. I will now always consider other moving truck companies first though. This was horrible.

I have rented equipment from numerous vendors and locations over the years and my experience at the 2727 South Santa Fe, Englewood, Colorado U-Haul, location was outstanding. These folks have it going on, they understand how to make a customer feel welcome and are willing to go above and beyond to answer your questions to make sure you have the right equipment for the job you are doing. "Excellent customer service".

I will be contacting uhaul directly about the issues we endured,!as NOONE should have to go through what we did. From reserving the truck at one location and not having one when going to pick it up to being sent to a different location and getting a truck that sounded as though it was going to blow up. After 6 hours of back breaking loading furniture we were not able to start the truck which had to be parked in the middle of the street to load. The icing on this cake was waiting over 40 minutes to even get through your system in order to get someone to help as we sat in a cold truck with no lights (not even hazard lights) for almost 2.5 hours waiting for your help to fix a truck with 160,000 miles on it. I pray that you will actually read this review and maybe inspect your trucks, and Do Something about the horrible phone system that sends you to voicemail hell when your in need of serious help.

More info should be given about the mobile truck pickup ahead of time. All of the information that was required in the app could have been entered ahead of time. Also, what is the point of the mobile pickup if you still have to go inside for the key? The app would also not work when trying to drop off. Having to enter a security code ever time you use the mobile app is super annoying.

This was the worst moving experience if my life. My boxes were two weeks late. You didn't pay me the agreed upon amount of $100/day that they were late. No one from this location would call me back until my case was escalated to higher management. Most of the staff at this location was rude and unprofessional. I would tell anyone thinking of using this service to just throw there stuff away and save the time because they'll spend hours on the phone tracking their stuff and it will be weeks late. I would give ZERO stars with the exception of Honoree pemberton and Jeen Dietz n Phoenix. I honestly think they are the only reason I got my boxes AND they are the only two people from your company that actually called or emailed me back when they said they would. I would tell our office in Phoenix to hire them in a second. The rest of the staff in Los Angeles was terrible!

First of all beyond frustrated that my original 26' foot truck was not available and I had to change at the last minute to a 20'. This has made my move way more stressful as everything did not quite fit and had to make arrangements for my stuff left behind which has added an extra expense on top of the stress. The only sympathy from a uhaul representative has been oh ya sorry that happens. Unacceptable in my opinion when this reservation was made weeks in advance. Im not asking for reimbursement or anything but just that thought would have gone a long way.

The truck was not ready when we got there. They gave us a different truck that was “ready and clean” however when we got to that truck, one of the windows was left opened. There was dirt and debris all over the driver's seat. There was white gunk on the dashboard. The staff members here were rude. When we tried to get help, they all seemed like we were bothering them by interrupting their conversation.

The check in/drop off person was very friendly. I explained all the troubles with the battery dead & replacement. She was empathetic & said maybe they would issue a coupon for my inconvenience....I said NO! I want some kind of credit for this major hassle. She said she was sorry for all my troubles & she would denote it on the return paperwork. I then saw a few days later that they had not charged me for the extra mileage over the allocated amount, which was several hundred dollars. I was very pleased to see that & would highly recommend this location.

Overall I was very pleased with my storage at U Haul. I only had to leave when access to the location was limited to a scan card. Being only able to enter the site with the scan card limited me to access only when I was in my truck, when i needed to get in and was in a different vehicle I could not. I shared this with the staff when the change was made but no other options were available.

Do not lie and follow through. Angela Boone in detroit agreed to refund me via check since my company paid to relocate me and I was extremely inconvenienced for staying in a hotel due to my box being late plus the $50 late fee. So I am owed about $300 and I am being ignored. I even had to pay to haul my box out to my apartment when I paid for Uhaul to move it but they did not have anyone for a week even though it arrived to Englewood per scheduled. HORRIBLE SERVICE

I asked the reservationist and the scheduler if there would be a deposit because I was using a debit card. Both said no. I was charged a $100 deposit. Because of that, I tried to use 2 debit cards, their system or lack of traing on same prevented that. I had to leave to move money around on my cards, then I came back to get the truck. This sucked up time and money of which I had little. I can't say I'll never use U-Haul again but I'm going to try to avoid you as much as possible in the future. I've had a lot of expensive problems with you guys over the years. Once the truck only got 4 mpg. Another time, you canceled my reservation because of a miss dial on a comfirmaton. I have had to go out of my way in dealing with you-when will you ever do the same for me? The return location was great! They even said, if it's plastic there is no deposit. Interesting that no one tells the same story......

There is a problem with the online check in that has been a headache mulitple times for me now, and if it wasn't for the staff at this location I would not still be using uhaul. Under extreme stress (huge line and a few issues that were being addressed internally) they still provided a smile, warm interaction and individualised service. I'll be back (but never again use the online check-in!!!)

There were almost no precautions for COVID in place at the check out location. The person at the desk offered for me to sit on a chair that the previous 2 customers sat on without cleaning it. I was given a pen that I saw the previous 2 customers use without it being cleaned. This is unacceptable in the current times.

The location and my rental experience was excellent. I set up everything online and it was great. However, the billing process has been atrocious. I'm still fight to get the rental closed over a month later.

I reserved a truck two minutes away from my location. The night before I was picking up I got an email saying my location for pick up changed to 25 minutes in the opposite direction of where I needed to be. This caused me to spend more time traveling, more miles and more in gas. I also reserved and paid for a furniture dolly. We were not given the dolly. There was a bag of trash from McDonald's also left behind the drivers seat from someone prior.

Excellent location, but for some reason I had two drop off locations. One for the truck and another for the trailer, which made no sense. When I tried to drop the truck off here they said they had to charge me to do it, which made no sense. I don't fault them though. I moreso fault the paterson NJ location where I initially picked up the truck and the fact that I had to get the truck and trailer from separate locations that were within 7 miles of each other. Why wouldn't the two things just be moved to the same location? Why make me go two places? That's not quality service.

Your 800 call center is seriously understaffed. I called 10 times and each time had to wait up to 45 minutes to speak with someone. Same for the final stage. We had to call many times to arrange delivery of the UBox. Often the local call was routed to the 800 number and once again a 45 min wait. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, you can't schedule delivery on the website... it forces you to phone, and the local Uhaul is also seriously understaffed. One one person can schedule delivery and that person drives a truck as well. Horror show. I will never use Uhaul again.

Need to hire another driver. Scheduling pickups and drop offs is ridiculous. Pick up and drop off times are weeks out, and all they can tell you is that they will be there on a specific day. No time windows other than "it could be as early as 7 am."

One of the worst uhaul experiences I have ever had. I have rented many uhauls and have never seen such inexperienced, rude, and untrained employees. After checking in online it took me an hour and a half in the store to get my keys and equipment. The employees could ‘not find their keys' for close to 25 minutes. This transaction has been ridiculous, not to mention the after hours charge I received when the truck was returned before the time I estimated and long before the store closed at 3:45 when the store closes at 7. Needless to say I will never use uhaul again.

There needed to be a much larger sign for where to drop off the keys. Also, more generally I'm concerned with the cleaning fee. You should clean the vehicles every single time someone uses them, especially during a pandemic. Just include the $25 into the price of use if you have to, but there shouldn't be extra fees for something you should be doing anyway.

This was an amazing end of my trip. The front desk lady was very helpful in switching the unit I had reserved online to a ground floor unit right by the entrance! The only impediment to the process I faced was a delay encountered when I was to unload my UBox and move it into storage. The UBox could not be accessed by the forklift while a semi was being unloaded. In hindsight I should have scheduled a definite time for the UBox to be moved. Otherwise the whole experience has been positive.

I moved to CO from out of state and UHAUL packed up my belongings into containers and brought them to the UHAUL center in CO where I rented a storage unit for nearly a year. The cost was a third of the price other companies charge. The entire experience was pleasant, professional, and timely. I’m so happy I hired UHAUL to move my household to another State.
