Hire more staff. The staff working were great and doing the best they could but 30 minutes to pick up a previously reserved truck and a doZen returns backed up waiting to check in. Plus, truck AC did not work.

I had no problems with the Riverside site, it was that the online reservations told me to go to a certain uhaul provider then when 8 got there, it told me to go across town to another site. Then, when it was time to get my rental, the online check wasn't getting my pictures(my phone is a smart phone only a year old), so they canceled my reservation and I had to go in. I haven't moved in 20 years and always used uhaul in the past, but the whole process was more difficult than it should have been. The company chiefs need to overall the mobile program and test it. Then, maybe they can keep the site up to date and with availability of actual stores or franchise partners.

Explain the charges better. I paid the amount they told me. Which I understand the mileage but, the rental rate went from 19,95 $ to 39,99 $? Plus additional tax and an environmental fee? Not happy!!! Paid what I was told, returned the truck full and clean and you charge me more! Please explain!!!

This customer service was 100 % horrible. Katie should be fired, due to her lack of understanding her job and also her lack of customer service skills. I arrived around 3:50, for my 4pm rental. After waiting for 20-30 minutes, I was told my reservation "Had not arrived and it wasn't her problem." She would charge me the same for a 26ft cargo truck - even though 2 vans were on the lot. She then held me there until 4:35-4:40, telling me if I was late - it was on me. When the check engine light came on, I called back and spoke with another representative at this store (after being on hold for 30 minutes) who then re-directed me to Roadside - who kept me on hold for 45-50 minutes. This U-Haul is a joke and I will never be going back here. It seems more like a scam, just to make more money off of you. I recommend going with someone else - who actually provides solid customer service skills, since this place hires individuals incapable of doing so.

The 5' X 8' trailer was very stable and easy to pull with my van. It handled well on the highway -- good tracking, even in 30-40+ mph cross winds.

The staff were all very rude. Playing on their phones when I walked up to get my reservation, then they argued over who was going to take me so I was pushed back and forth between lines. I did my reservation online but the girl still needed everything I had put in online (drivers license, payment, etc.) Both front desk girls were very rude and not helpful whatsoever. The sent me outside to find the trailer I needed myself. Thankfully there was another girl out there that showed me which one it was and tried to help me load it on my truck. However, she didn't know how to hook everything up and said most of the parts were missing off the trailer but I could use it anyways. Very poor service and very poor quality trailers!

Critically understaffed. One person working with a line out the door. Waited for 25 minutes for my reservation and another 20 minutes outside waiting to be hooked up - which only happened because someone just starting their shift saw us standing waiting for the trailers. I rent a trailer bi-weekly. Yesterday I thought "It's tie to buy my own."

This had nothing to do with this location but when I booked the 26' truck online, I selected the guarantee location which was not this location. I got a call that the truck would be at a location 30 miles away. After setting it up, they later called back and said they would have one at the location above and the pick up went smooth.

Reserved a 26 foot truck 4 days before move. Got to location and seen 8 of tje 26 foot trucks but was told they had none and could not get one for a few hours when clearly they had plenty at that time. Lady argued with for 15 min swearing they disdnt have any when all she had to do was get up out pf her chair amd go look but was too busy texting on her phone

Even though we showed up 20 minutes before closing time, the employee asked us to come back tomorrow because she had "going home on the brain." When we said no, she became really unhelpful. She seemed offended that she had to take the keys and move the truck for inspection.

Dirty used masks left in vehicle from previous customer with something spilled on floor boards 3. 3 of 4 tires low on pressure with warning going off 4. Oil warning going off 5. Drove 18 miles afraid to stop for gas due to alarms CHARGED FOR 3 GALLONS WHEN USED 1!!! If the vehicle hadn't had warnings going off I WOULD HAVE STOPPED FOR GAS. EXTREMELY POOR EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH. 5. Pre-paid for items. Asked for them when I got there. Rep said she'd get them, but didn't. I left realized I didn't have them. Called and was argued with that I hadn't Pre-paid for them because I called them by the wrong name.

I had reserved a 15' moving truck at this location originally. When we arrived on the day we had reserved, there was not one available, the person we spoke with didn't seem to know much about it and offered a 17' truck at no "additional" cost. We got from A to B so that's all that matters.

There was little guidance and vague instructions which is still okay, however an employee should be sent to check on a situation when an alarm goes off and I accidently set off two while storing my items and the personnel in the area did not engage with me despite my mistakes, not even to check up on any issues.

When I arrived there was a line of equipment in the return area. I could see that three employees appeared to be talking with two customers near the vehicle. The three suddenly ran inside the building. When I walked up to the door it wouldn't open and a blonde female employee walked right by the door less than three feet from the glass and made a gesture as though I was stupid or something. She said nothing nor asked if she could help or anything at all and continued to the back with the others. It was then that I noticed that the location is supposed to close at 7 and looking at my watch it was 7:05. I only wanted to ask where I could leave the trailer that I was dropping off because of I had simply left it in line with the other vehicle and equipment and vehicle, it may cause a safety hazard. Due to the situation I did my best to leave the trailer in a reasonably safe place. I couldn't move the trailer closer manually because of I'm physically disabled due to back injuries. I have done business with this location in the past and others as well. I have had great experiences with all locations with the exception of last night which was the polar opposite. I have never been treated so pathetically at any business ever and will never return to that location. I have been in the service and customer service industry for over 16 years and have never seen or experienced the abhorrent treatment I received yesterday. No “sorry we're closed”, “can I help you” just a look as though I was stupid and walking away. Needless to say I will never return anything or do business with this location again.

Over all had made reservations and called and said we're going to be late once we got there they had given our u-haul to someone else after we had called and said we're on our way and had to wait 4 hours for another u-haul we feel they could of at least call and said we have to give your u-haul away because you're taking to long or even made a statement if you're more than 15 minutes late someone else gets the u-haul nothing like that but ok the u-haul here and once there no u-haul a 4 hour wait thanks.

I was giving a truck with a check engine light on. It did not run very well. However it was clean. Service was pretty slow. I've rented from various locations and this location was the slowest. The parking / truck lot seemed very disorganized in comparison to my previous experiences. Although U-haul in general is still my preferred rental company.

Love renting trucks and trailers from you guys . But your storage suck ass !!!! You took me out of the computer for months . Cut my lock . I told you guys and you did nothing. I couldn't pay . Then 6 months later you told me you guys made a mistake and put me back in . My number was 1285 in Evansville In . On riverside. My family had nothing. Had to replace everything! Because your manager lazy . Didn't want to look at what she did . Took over 4 000 $to buy new beds , cloths, dishes, everything from my home .

I reserved a truck for 9 am and by the time I actually got the truck I lost half an hour of using it. So I'm not pleased that I went over my 3 hr estimated hours of use and had to pay additional 40 something dollars for being late. Also I was under the impression that I could use it for however long without being charged more if I couldn't make it back by that time. It really needs to be stated that that's the case. Also when they only have one person waiting on customers, answering the phone and making everyone late on getting their trucks when they needed it. Seen one person walk out because it was taking too long.

It took an hour in the store to pickup even though I had a reservation. The location was completely unorganized and the staff didn't seem trained. The phone rang three times while I was there with the calls unanswered. They definitely need more staff!!

I use to love this uhaul an the staff but for the past two months I can truly say the staff is not all that friendly. I won storage lockers thru an auction an uhaul is the very first place in 7 years I've been buying units that doesnt allow u to access these lockers when the office is closed. I bought 4 from the riverside location an 4 from other storage places. When people have jobs an also buys these it truly causes issues not to mention the weather causing the locations to close earlier has truly caused some issues I had to extend my uhaul 3 extra days there then leaving me behind to move my other 4 lockers. An when I would call the local location was just rude an you all expect me to except you all making changes do to weather etc but it was a problem when I had to make changes. Not to mention I am wheel chair bound so I couldnt even clean out or assist with getting these lockers out because u all are not handicapped accessible. Even the ramp in the back has a few stairs leaving me to have to depend on someone to assist me or to pay others to help which is wat I have had to do. I've spent a lot of money with this location over he past 2 years an with the past 2 to 3 months I've learned that uhaul may not be the company for me to use for my small business because I've now spent over 450 dollars in less then a month truly crazy honestly an to have to deal with peoples rudeness an attitudes

Call the hotline and filed a formal complaint, hallways were exceptionally poor lighting. No lighting inside the units. Lights turned off while you're still working in the unit hallway lights worked. The men and the outside workers that worked with the trucks trailers we're very nice and helpful and exceptionally kind the office workers were the exact polar opposite very rude very ugly very demanding very slow. The manager was horrible. Doors were not open access was not available at their posted opening time access was closed and restricted 30 to 45 minutes before posted closing time. Hours of operation were not honored it was whatever was convenient for the employees. Very very overpriced for the service in the amount of space rented {period} would never rent from this location ever again may never consider renting U-Haul again.

Upon arrival unit still had stuff from prior renter. Talk to front desk they wanted me to take one on 1st floor at around 30 $higher per month. I said you should give me that at same price. Would not so I removed the junk from room and placed in hall. While moving in they sent someone up to haul to dumpster. Almost missed my rental truck return time.

I resnted a unit only to find a lock on it. Because it was a personal lock they were unable to.remove it. They offered to give me a larger unit because the size unit I needed wasn't available. When we got to the larger unit, it had furniture, clothes and debris in it.i was told I would have to move out of the larger unit once a smaller unit became available. I wasn't willing to move my furniture twice. I cancelled my reservation!! I'm now looking elsewhere.

My personal experience wasn't that great. There was a whole thing where Everytime I came to town it seemed I couldn't access my belongings my swipey card didn't work after hours. I don't remember that being explained to me it said nothing about this in my contract I called an after hour number but couldn't get an answer.the online payment site was hard to use and charged me a late fee I never was able to get resolved. I rented on a holiday weekend when other facilities were closed so that was a convince others don't offer. The unit I had was very large at a very good rate. The staff at the office has always been more then helpful and very friendly.. I will always come here to get excite to impatience or anger; annoy trucks and accessories to haul but I would never recommend a storage here.

Had an absolutely terrible experience at Riverside Dr. location in Evansville, IN. Absolutely no customer service and no direction were given to me upon arrival of picking up the UHAUL truck and storage unit. Upon arriving we waited in line for 30 + minutes with only one other customer in front of us Of which 3 employees were standing around or sitting down behind the counter. The card machine was not working properly. That along with being basically ignored when we walked in the door and were the only ones standing in line was unacceptable. We were told after leaving with the truck that upon arriving with the truck we would then get further instructions and assistance with the storage unit I reserved. We arrived and once again were ignored by the blonde lady behind the counter. We received absolutely little to no instructions on how to gain access to the storage unit. We got to the storage unit and there was a lock on the door that was needing a key that no one told us about prior or offered assistance with and the store was closing in 10 minutes. I had to physically go down to the office and get assistance myself. The self check in process was terrible and I did not receive any account info or information on this process prior. I submitted it right at 8:00 PM the last possible time it was due before Being considered late. The unnecessary stress of the day did not help with my situation where I lost everything in a house fire 2 day's ago. I even expressed this to the manager behind the counter and he proceeded to down play my situation and make jokes about COVID-19. I will never be doing business there again and do not plan on keeping my storage unit more than just a few days before I will take my business elsewhere. I will not be paying anymore to this company and will refuse payment for next month storage unit rent and terminating my contract ASAP.

We had an indoor, climate controlled unit. U-Haul made it all simple. Rented the trailer, moved son from Indy to Evansville, emptied contents of trailer into storage unit at U-Haul&returned trailer.

THe only thing that would have increased my rating would have been to have lights inside of our unit. There were none so we bought battery powered lights to stick up on the wall so we could see.

The climate control storage was clean and well kept. It was well lit and access was 24 hours. I would get a climate control storage unit any time. The staff was most helpful and courteous.

Oh such great fast service. I was so surprised that it was so quick and easy. In and out. Same with the return. I have used U-Haul once in the past and the experience was bad, so it was a surprise.

I reserved a.c 10 x 10 x 8 climate controlled unit. Wehe Ik arrived, the unit I was given had a 4 x 4 x 6 air handler running through it effectively taking up @20 % of the room. I had to pay for 100 %

Rented a Uhaul to move to Florida tried to get a 10 foot Uhaul. Tried and tried to no prevail. Ended up getting a 15 foot Uhaul. I was worried I could drive it but it handle very well and gas mileage
