BONNIE Sthe Kalispell U-haul facility is impeccable and the staff were very professional and helpful. We rented storage space at the Kalispell facility to temporarily store our stuff as we transition to our new home. The storage facilities are fantastic, they are clean, climate controlled and very secure. I would strongly recommend U-Haul to anyone making a cross country move as our experience excelled my expectations. If I ever need to move, I will use U-Haul.

MATTHEW RAbsolutely not! We did not sign a promissory note, charged us for fees that we asked about up front! Did not say anything when we dropped off vehicle, or sign anything. And have now overdrawn my account. If I would have known it would cost 1000 to move 4 hours I would have used another route. I would NEVER recommend U-Haul to anyone, I will NEVER use U-Haul again. Next time be upfront about your charges and don't have individual that don't know what their talking about answering the phones and giving the ok to customers!!!

TRENT KThe person I worked with was fun and nice, however I got a HORRIBLE truck. I have never driven a uhaul and I got the 26 foot, so I wasn't sure how it should have drove. I leave the uhaul store and it started to shake forward and backwards. My thoughts were, this must be normal because it was empty. It was kinda scary but I just drove slow. Then we filled it and we had almost 1000 mile to drive. It shook but I could handle it until we were 5 hours into our 15 hour adventure. At 1:00 in the morning, it started shaking so bad and I was so scared that I pulled off of the road and called uhaul, roadside assistants. The lady was wonderful and so was the service guy that came to help. My choices were to change trucks and I would have to unload mine and load the other one. They don't offer to pay for help, although they gave me a bad truck in the first place. Finding out my truck had a transmission problem. My second option was to drive it and when it starts shaking really bad to slow down until the shaking isn't as bad. I was exhausted from already taking 3 days to pack my truck. I decided to drive the scary horrible truck because I wouldn't have help to unload my uhaul. Anyway, slowly made it to our destination. 2 days later. Uhaul needs to have their workers do a better inspection on there Uhauls.When dropping off the Uhaul, Anthony was wonderful and said it doesn't even sound right idling and this truck should have not been given to a customer to use. He is filing a official complaint on my behalf. Long story short. It was one of the scariest experience I have ever had.
STEPHANY JHave owner's manual available. Had a couple warning light go off. And needed to know. So when they went off I had to stop and shut off vehicle for alittle time and then off again. To this day I don't know what they were for

HENRY RWell the truck was clean but not like super clean and i brought truck back clean and i asked a staff person yhat i seen inside what next i was suppose to do when returning truck, he stated " is that the 10'", i said yes and he said that i was good to go and i left. Then about 30-45 minutes later i was looking at receipt that was emailed and i noticed that the uhaul was charging me 27,77 for cleaning. Wtf???

Tommy LWhen you picked the trailer up, the lights weren't working properly technician attempted to repair them. Got 800 miles away and they did not work. Called U-Haul for service technician who came out and basically said it would take him 3 to 4 hours and more than likely, he may not be able to fix it. So I told him I couldn't wait. That long ended up costing me an extra $150 for two nights and hotels that I wasn't expecting to pay because I couldn't drive at night with no running lights.

Elizabeth PStaff opened, and went through my unit without notification. Cut my lock, placed different lock on door without notification. Had to track down new lock keys from staff members. Fell behind on my unit due to loss of family member and the manager of the facility was rude and disrespectful when I asked for help on a possible late fee refund. The constant increase of pricing on such a small unit. It was a very bad experience in general causing me to move out of the unit. Would not recommend the kalispell Montana location to anyone.

Vicki G | Expérience généraleIt's been a nightmare since I rented it in july 2022.. by September there were missing payments that I had proof of and my mom had also paid she had her receipts as well but by September of 2022 they already had me in delinquency status and had given me a lean fee they were still charging me $10 extra for the 24-hour access when I clearly told them I'm the only one with keys and I'm in another state nobody should be in there since then they've proceeded to every other month continue to say that I'm delinquent to the point that it's almost $400 or $350 and I have to borrow money from my mother so I didn't lose my stuff while I was in Montana last week I was getting a few things out of storage but when I got locked out for the third time out of my storage unit first for the password that we had created that day wouldn't work and it had worked in the office then they said it was because of my lock or something but I'm not going to keep going back and forth three times to find out why I'm unlocked and tell them to come unlock me that's bad business there's nothing convenient about it or charge you $20 fee for a mistake I got charged an extra day on the rental truck or rental 4x8 and I'm tired of hearing also that oh yes you're back on auto pay and everything's caught up everything's fine and then I hear that I had a $20 balance and I wasn't on auto pay and it's wrong it's a lie there's no way because I'm very careful when I'm writing my notes and in March that everything was back to normal but it's been this every other month for 2 years and I want something done about it because the Montana regional manager or whatever was very rude to me about this and it's not my fault I just barely got a payment history printed out they said they sent me mail and notifications I've never received it I don't get a phone call to remind me that the payment is late or didn't get paid with auto pay nobody calls like they want me to fail so they can auction my stuff off I was angry that I found out they had drilled my lock off and had to have a replacement lock because I didn't feel like my stuff was being very well secured and safe while I'm out of town and they did it on purpose to get me into the bowling Quincy so they didn't post the payments that were made by May of 2023 they had to give me a free month because they couldn't lie about it anymore I really feel like somebody needs to contact me about this I'm contemplating besides better Business bureau of maybe CFPB.

My husband and I had a few issues because we didn't understand how the check in worked and set off the alarms he was very patient reset our code and walked us through the process. And then I realized the unit I picked was too small it was quitting time and he still took the time to help us switch to a bigger unit. Thank you. I wish I remembered his name.

This is not a reflection on current manager Mike Gaines who has treated me wonderfully. This is a reflection on corporate who are not making policy changes to reflect the current cultural reality. The cleaning lady does her best, but on too many occasions she has showed up for work only to find unbelievably trashed bathrooms i.e. feces on the floor, blood on the toilet seat, etc.

Wayne O | Premières impressionsUnit was dirty to begin with. We had to clean it. Then it has a 12"x 12" column in the middle so made it impossible to add big pieces. Manager got permission to drop the price -$5. 3 months later it went back up, plus went up by yet another $5. $124 is ridiculous for a 10 x 10 unit with a foot taken out of the center. The staff was nice but they didn't seem to have any decision-making ability. Everything had to be done by calling a higher up person. Everything just kept getting drug out. The location manager and staff need to have more access and decision-making control. I have moved out because I can't trust the price control and units at your site. I have been very pleased in renting U-Haul trucks and trailers and will continue to do that but I can't foresee renting any storage unit with you unless things get figured out.

U haul was helpful and available and made the move cost effective and efficient. Super happy with the way it all went for us!

Aura W | Premières impressionsThe inside of this facility looked like a homeless camp in Seattle. Trash everywhere. Ceiling tiles falling out. The bathroom was continuously so dirty that it would be better to skip washing your hands. There would be beer bottles and food debris all over in the bathroom and common areas. The facility was a homeless hangout. People were living there. The employees are awful. They don't care. They don't address your concerns. They are lazy and don't want to work. I left because they kept raising rates and service kept getting worse. I didn't feel my belongings were safe so I removed them and took them to another storage facility. I would never recommend this facility.
