I was assigned a different pickup location without any notice any phone call or text or email or any kind of communication from uhaul I went to the pick location I had when ordered waited online for more than forty min to be told location is changed and then took an Uber ride for $28 to reach the new location and waited thirty min to get a truck with warning light on to find out after an hour that it was indicating tired pressure has to be checked which is beyond unacceptableAlya S.

I brought the van that I rented back late and was charged an extra $20, which I am ok with, but I have issue that I was charged for an extra day of the "insurance" the truck was left in the U-Haul parking lot and the keys were turned in and therefore, I had no access to the vehicle. When I initially made my reservation online the website said I would be able to pick up my vehicle at 8:30 AM, before the location opened at 9; however, when I got there, the website said I would have to wait for the location to open for an in-person handoff. The worker had no idea what he was doing. I did the online self check in, and it told me to go to the front of the line to get the keys and he didn't know that was an option. the logistics department should review the appointments a day ahead to ensure the locations have the vehichles available. To arrive and have to go to another location or take a smaller truck is unacceptable. This should be managed much better.kandi H.

The young man behind the desk handled our situation well and by no means is he at fault but the fact that neither one of two the trucks that I reserved were available almost caused a huge inconvenience. It would be nice if Uhaul was able to update their customers on the availability of the trucks especially if they aren't going to be available, the size changes, etc.Corey G.

My reserved uhaul was not available at the location I requested, so I had to either downsize or go to another location for a bigger uhaul. Since being charged for milage, I had to rent a 26" uhaul that had to be dri en in circles or could not go down certain blocks or make certain clearings, but was charged for milage and fees when I was Inconvenienced from the beginning. They had rats and when I went to get my stuff out of there there was rat poop everywhere and on everything on my kids clothes, shoes, toys,valuable stuff to me was ruined and had to go in the trash and they didn't inform their customers and that's not fair I haven't used or been back to that unit since last year now y'all are charging me for a unit I haven't been to or used and it's to the rats being in my unit can't use none of that stuff my couches, my dishes were un there as well and many other things trash you can't save or use that stuff no more unsanitary and nasty. So when I first got the unit couldnt get to it unless I went downstair and carry my stuff by hand because the gate wouldnt open. So then they gave me a larger storage unit that I didnt need. No real issues. I left my stuff in a unit, my stuff stayed in that unit until I removed it. The only issue I had was getting stuck in the loading area between the outer and inner doors when I was retrieving my sruff. It took about 30 minutes to get a call up to the desk to get them to open the outer door for me so I could drive the truck out. Staff was unfriendly, unhelpful and seemed very unwilling to even answer the simplest of questions such as "What storage unit number am I in?" multiple rat traps were not cleaned and still had dead rats in them. Outside entry door propped open with mop bucket - so anyone could walk in and steal from any storage unit. If I didn't already schedule movers to unload my uhaul rental I would have driven away immediately and gone somewhere else.
