The wifi wasn't working at the first location at 9:00am. I lost 30 min. time waiting , then had to go to another U-haul location to pick up a 15 ft. truck there. They had some wifi hiccups also this am. I didn't get a truck until 10:00am and I had people waiting for me on another location, so this cost them time. The truck ran, however it had over 140 000 miles, and it kept not wanting to shift and go into gear. It was like driving a truck stuck in second gear most of the time. I learned to work the column shift , D, 3, 2, 1 to try and help it shift. Also, the passenger side at the floor radiated so much heat it was like burning the passengers feet, even the the AC was on full blast. So, this truck 1541 needs some serious work before going back out. The locations were fine, the service staff were great. The truck itself needed maintenance. The wifi delays caused a delayed start, even though I ordered ahead of time. It is hard to recommend locations when you had to go to two of them. If you can refund me even half of my cost here for all the delay and not managed equipment, that would be great. Thank you. I use Uhaul all the time and really felt like I got the lemon truck day.

I've used this drop off location before and it is always good. It was weird when someone from it called me yesterday to ask me if I dropped the truck off yesterday or the day before. I dropped it off like 4 days ago! It made me wonder if they were trying to add on a late charge.

Whoever I meet when we dropped off the truck was a very nice person BUT THAT MAN FROM THIS MORNING THAT TOLD ME AT 6:48AM THAT HE DONT OPEN UNTIL 7AM when I told him my truck that I had a reservation for 6am pick up, didn't having the moving blankets was rude. I will not use this location again.

Used this location many times in the past. At the time I was needing a trailer they unfortunately did not have any available so I was forced to use another location. Will always attempt to use them 1st.

Rep charged for insurance even though I declined same when made reservation. Inconvenient because I then had to call Cust. Svc. and wait longer to check out at end of rental to get my $$ credited. Up selling without consent isn't cool-although the rep WAS very cool and friendly.

Location where I picked up the truck in the trailer took him messed up the contract and put them separate so I had to pay her higher price then I got to Charlotte to get the trailer taken off and found out they never strapped my vehicle down properly, so what do you think about your service?

I arrived on the lot and pulled into return equipment bay at 503 pm … unfortunately they close at 5 pm on Sundays. But there were still 2 people finishing up on inside and I know they saw me - so I sat there for a few minutes but as no one came out i started the self return online (but couldnt logon as their wifi must have been "off" … so now its drizzling rain again and I pull up and back trailer into a slot the best I could well then I had difficulty getting it unlocked /lose off of my hitch - I struggle for 20+ minutes while one of the 2 employees sat there in their car watching me struggle then left when they saw i finally got it unhitched … but then i still had to manually push and guide the trailer back into a parking space between 2 trucks by myself as the second employee cameout and just went and sat in their vehicle watching me struggle too and then they just sat there until I was about done then they drove off as well … a little help from tbe staff would have been nice - we dont get to shut down the ED or turn people away for coming in late or in the middle of shift change !!! I know it was Superbowl Sunday but I wanted to get back home to watch game too … a little help (common courtesy if nothing else) would have been nice … neither one of those 2 said employees even checked to see if i needed "help" or a quick hand …so I have a hard time recommending using my drop of location, but my pick up location was excellente !!!

Your 19,95 dollar van is very misleading... when I had it a few hours went like 15-16 miles in it... brought it back with right under the amount of gas it had in it in perfect condition and my out the door price was over $60 dollars. I literally will never do this again at all... I'll make 100 trips with my car before I do this again

The facility was clean and some areas were well maintained. Above my storage unit was a leak and it damaged somethings but not alot of things. The manager did offer me another bigger storage but because of my height, it was too short for me, my head touch the ceiling, but yes, I'll recommend this location to anyone. Thanks to Uhaul for the many years (15+ years [from Atlanta, GA to Florence, SC]) of service.

I provided and averaged score because when we first rented they provided us with the wrong storage unit and we had already started putting our stuff in there and ended up having to move because they made a mistake and we didn't get a discount or anything for this. It was very unprofessional.

The facility is as clean and accessible. I just wish there is a direct number to the facility. I at first could not find where my storage unit was as there are so many and I called the number on my paperwork but I got an agent who had to them connect me to the actual store. The store didn't even answer the phone but by that time I had walked around and found my unit. But other than that and the the fact there is kind of no one around to help you, you're kind of on your own, it was a good experience. I also got the same un around! I got booked to another storage facility and not the one I was dropping my truck off at but it was fixed so that's fine

The staff was very helpful. However, what I reserved o mine didn't match what was available at this location. The only options we were left with was an upstairs unit. Had we known this when doing our reservation we would have gone somewhere else. After driving almost 12 hours and having to move heavy furniture upstairs was not fun.

All my stuff was ruined in. I still didn’t get a acceptable conversation for my ruined things, and they kept bothering me about cleaning out a storage that was clearly a health hazard situation.

Bret is an amazing guy. I got really stressed when I first arrived and found that the storage I thought was on the first floor (or at least had an elevator) was actually on the second floor. It was impossible for us to get heavy stuff up the stairs. Bret's team got me on the first floor and Bret was very accommodating. I will recommend this place based on Bret's service. I would recommend people work for Bret. I consider him the first friendly face in my new home town. Thanks Bret!

Never received and Tex that the bill was due or a call poor communication with customers. They spelled my name wrong when corrected it still didn't get any communication about bill had to drive from Nc just so I could pay the bill. Made me feel like they wanted to sell my stuff

Had an unexpected financial issue and had to close out my lease with no notice. The Uhaul staff where very understanding and made the situation less stressful. Would definitely recommend this facility to anyone.

My only issue is I went to remove some items from storage. Left them in lobby as I went to ready my car trunk. Returned and doors were locked. Management didn't answer the after-hours phone number listed. Had to return the following morning as my items stayed in the open lobby.

My experience was horrific. Brett was the rudest racist i have ever encountered. They broke into my storage not once but twice. He yells at me when i come to pay my bill almost every time because im always confused as why are there new charges on my account every three months i have been dealing with this company for over 3 years they made my experience a headache as a matter of fact, i didnt leave my storage they discontinued my storage after this last time the employees broke into it the sad thing is that they have camera s but no one knows anything. I dont reccomend this storage to anyone in the area of florence and the young lady with the serious overbite at the sales counter was equally as rude. I hate uhaul. Ill never deal with them again. Im contemplating consulting an attorney after being wrongfully evicted. Serious interpersonal skills are needed for this location and vigorous training is definitely the way they should go. On a scale from 1-10 i give uhaul -6points

I would not recommend anyone to come to y'all because I had a very very bad experience with y'all first of all I told y'all to change my phone number like 100 times to no avail and y'all sold my merchandise a day after some witch that was there took a payment from my mother and the witch told me that everything was good and paid in full and the next day y'all sold my merchandise. And that was unbelievable.

The facility did not have secured security.doors. The doors to the storage area was open so that anyone from the outside could enter. The lights on the floor did not come on so it made me very uncomfortable to walk towards my unit because it was dark. The alarm sounded each time you open your unit. That was unnerving because I didn't know if there was an emergency and to exit the building.The unit appeared smaller than advertised. The staff was friendly and helpful.

When I arrived, the unit I had reserved online was not available. Full disclosure, my reservation was for Saturday; 3/28, but I did not check in until Sunday, 3/29. The online system and the store location did not have the same information. The unit I reserved was not available. A 10x10 unit was recommended which I took at the higher rate. During my move in, the storage room was barely able to hold my belongings. I wasn't able to fit everything in the storage unit and ended up having to secure other means of storage. Overall, make sure the online system is up to date. Also, the cashier did give a discount because of the inconvenience; however, the lack of space in the unit recommended by the gentlemen was insufficient.

It’s the roaches ....,, walked in and saw roaches going in and out of the units then I got my stuff out it was full of roaches had to just throw it away

Facility staff were very polite and went out of their way to help. Supervisor was snarky and had an overall pessimistic attitude. U-Haul computer system had an E-Alert on me for no reason at all and THEY MADE *ME* CALL 1-800-UHAUL TO CLEAR IT!!  Storage unit was up a flight of stairs and no freight elevator. Worst storage experience ever.

Overall it was average. I placed a reservation the night before for a unit and was packed and there for move in. Only to be told the unit I reserved still had merchandise from previous client. I was told by a rude African American, very unprofessional at the job that she spoke with the manager and I would have to come back after the client moved their belongings out. Of course this was not okay with me so she involved Larry which seems like he has to handle everything. Several customers waiting to be served and 3 employees, Larry being one and the only one trying to help everyone. He took me and got me a unit and I was able to move my stuff in. Thankful he was there. Oh,and I was told I got a free month for the inconvenience but they were doing that anyway for all renters....overall turned out okay.

Larry (Irby St. Florence, SC) was very helpful in finding the size storage unit to fit my needs. He walked us through the building and let us see actual units that were available and allowed me to choose between those. I wanted one on ground level, however one wasn't available but he located one that was right at the top of the stairs with a large door for easier access to load and unload large pieces of furniture. He was very polite and courteous. He answered any questions that I had even prior to me asking them. After renting the unit, he walked us back over to explain to us how to use the access key and then showed me how to put the lock on the door that I was also able to purchase from him. Excellent experience if you're needing a storage unit.

There were so many roaches and roach eggs throughout my unit. Spiderwebs came with that, so the eggs were stuck every where. The unit was nice outside of the pest issue.

The truck I received was very old. The headlight were dim I couldn't see at night. The check engine light came on. This truck needs to be taken out of the fleet.
