the call center should tell you that you need to go to Chenango for signing up for unit, also the call center should tell you that you need to buy or bring specific lock ahead of time also, not good

My only negative is when they changed the unit doors, I was not notified. I discovered it when I could not unlock my unit. When I went to the office they informed me of the change and my new lock.

If you are going to change a customer’s lock on their Uhaul storage unit, I highly recommended that you NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER! This was not acceptable!

The rates are too expensive for what you get, + multiple charges (extra $10 for 24 hour access, had to buy a lock). A machine working at the counter could have been more friendly than the salesperson.

Most of my stuff was ruined with mold the staff was very rude and not helpful. Formal complaint did not solve issues. Still waiting for a response. I was unable to get to my things for several months

The dirt that got into the unit from the road was terrible. The door to my unit was broken. It never stayed up by it self , didn't seal right allowing all the road dirt to get in and sometimes water.

I was wrongfully locked out of my unit multiple times. Staff was unhelpful and downright rude. Multiple items of mine were destroyed by water damage from a leak in the unit.

Was looking for storage unit for my daughter’s college dorm stuff over the summer. I was pleased with ease of use. Very secure. Would not rent outside unit again. Too damp and musty.

The on-site office is no longer manned. Site management is handled from a remote location, approximately 2 miles away.

Horrible experience. After I was out, they still kept trying to charge me for up to 2 months after. Threatening me with penalties and liens. Never go through U-Haul.
