Kind of overpriced, but I feel as if U-Haul should not charge so much per mile

I dropped off my rental truck two days earlier than planned. There is only one worker at this store with more work load than possible. I got my e-receipt two days later stating that I kept the rental truck one extra day , and I was charged for gas even though I returned it exactly where I was asked to. When I confronted the man, he told me yes, that was his mistake and that I had to call “customer service” in order to get my refund. I cannot believe he could look me in my eyes with a straight face and tell me he knew he was wrong but STILL charged me $88 even though all the paperwork shows he was in the wrong. This was a very long distance move for a new start for my family and I, and losing money dishonestly from a new state I wanted to call home is so disheartening

The guy that helped us at 12 4 75 gulf freeway was awesome great help I'd go back as a matter of fact when I rented a truck and took the truck back I rented a storage unit for myself thanks again for all the help

What they have to do is return the money we overpaid when we rented the trucks on time. Yesterday, when I rented a truck, I paid more and they still haven't returned anything to me.

Vacuum the previous renters cracker crumbs from the dash well above the steering well along with the seats. Typical American slobs have to stuff their face while driving!

I was nervous at first because it’s my first time renting a storage but it was a breeze!

I had issues with my account info. As a Christmas gift I got Covid. The manager was very understanding with my homelessness and medical condition he and his staff and the contact person that called me where great. That facility and the manager went above and beyond. I will be going back when I am ready to move. I can't say enough. Very kind and respectful of my situation. Please forward my comments to the manager.

They didn't have the size truck I ordered and gave me a smaller one. They couldn't give me the blankets I ordered. My mileage was increased with two trips and my U-help time was increased by an hour. Of course I had to pay the extra costs. My worst experience with u-haul

The reservation was for 6am, yet the location I was supposed to p/u at was not open until 7:30am. THEN when we came back, were told that it was actually another location (altogether we were sent to 4 different locations) and we were ultimately told that the truck would not be ready until 9:45am. We had to reschedule the movers putting us back an entire day (we moved out of state) and costing an additional $300. AND, to put the cherry on top of this customer service experience, the $80 refund I was promised due to the late time, did not apply once I got the truck and the lady at the last location was extremely rude, I don't even have the energy to finish this to convey how rude. All I can say is, I will NEVER use U-Haul again.

Make sure the customer knows that pickup and DROP OFF are done through mobile check in. I filled the tank to full where it was when I got it like they said and whomever checked in my truck didnt put the truth. It was around 8:03pm when I dropped it off

I found everything I needed with this location I would definitely recommend it to family and friends that's in need of renting equipment or storage and their price is affordable.

OMG. David listened to me through all my crying and was still able to understand how serious my situation was. He came up with the best solution for me and my son who just had heart transplant. and he helped me have a plan for the next week or two so I can return home ASAP. Above and beyond and explained everything to me.

It would have been EXCELLENT!!! Someone in the office forgot to close my account when I moved out so I was charged $149 on my credit card. Now I'm waiting for it to be credit back to my account.

Truck was ready to go at pick up and I was even able to extend my rental period. Staff was super nice and accommodating. I've used this location several times and they have all been positive.

One thing is you paid on the first due of the month, and you would not get money back after move out of the storage unit early. That suck!

Grounds are kept clean and well maintained for the most part. In my unit there had been water damage to my furniture due to a leak from the ceiling. As a result the installation was hanging down. The leaked caused water stains on some of my items. Also, I was not notified that the electronic access system failed and therefore all passcodes were deactivated. Luckily the office was opened the day I tried to gain access. Overall, all things considered, I would still recommend them to others.

I had requested a 1 hour rental and was told I had a 2 hour return time. I questioned it and was told there is no charge for the second hour just in case something crazy happens. It was also not made clear the $10 coverage was per hour. So I was charged $20 for a second hour I didn't use and a second $10 for the coverage for said second hour.

There are some great people there and some not so great. But I will say that there are several issues that arose where the higher ups with uhaul resolved very quickly. I know that every one of us is under a lot of stress during this time so I will say that they are doing the best they can to provide a great customer experience. I just wish the hours to access the climate controlled storage was clearly stated that it is only during office hours and not until 10pm. Be advised.

My unit, was not an outside storage, but inside the building, it was not climate controlled, my items had mold forming on my furniture, was not 24/7 accessible, only accessible during the office hours, and my lock was changed without notification, the staff person couldn't find the key for the lock that was placed on my unit, I had to wait two days before I could get into the unit. I was not pleased on the few occasions that I went to the unit.

The only thing I had a problem with was the unit I had when I needed it after office hours it was a inconvenience because they would close and lock the door to building where my unit was and it was very inconvenience and it was hard trying to get someone to come and open it for me.

the thing is that i was not told that the initial unit that i had rented 261 was not 24 hours access so the door for me to go into the climate controlled storage was locked when i got there, spent 1 hour at the location trying to talk to customer service, joseph helped me get to another storage room that was 24 hours and door to go in was open, he told me that i might have to move my stuff back to the initial storage i had rented, issue is that my family is on vacation, i only had two guys that was able to help me move the stuff just for this time, starting monday, i am alone, also i have a finger chopped off with stiches due to a work accident, a 6 month old baby that needs care, and i have nobody to move the things back to another unit, and i would really really aprecciate if i could keep my things in unit 283, i think there are moments in life when there always and eception, i think i deserve it this time, please, and im looking for a place to move as soon as possible, last trip i got locked in the facility for 30 minits before customer service could open a gate since my controll works just for 5am until 10 pm, a couple of issues and miss understanding , is my second time renting at this location and i would do it again, please be considerate and help me, really need it, thanks

Tristan from the Fuqua location went the extra mile and beyond for me. I had to change my storage unit 3 times. And each time she was understanding with me. She listened to me and also reminded me of the 1 month free because i also had a truck rental. I walked in yesterday confused and stressed. Normally my mother handles things like this. Tristan deserves recognition and a day with all the trimmings. Thank you Tristan. 

My storage unit looked like someone tried to break in it and the last time I had a unit there it was broken into and over 20k of tools were stolen thinking yall would of upgraded the cameras by now but apparently yall just dont give 2 shits

The staff is friendly but unfortunately, my rent was raised right after I took a storage place, if I would know in advance that my rent will be increased within a month I would have sought another place. The staff informed me that they have nothing to do with the rent increase and suggested calling the corporate office, I called them they said the local facility will handle it or the local manager will resolve the issue, I spoke to the manager but they put the monkey back on the corporate office, so far nothing has been resolved.

My lock was changed someone had access to storage staff member lied about it personal items were stolen asked staff whom ever had taken items just please return they had access for at least four months. I've had surgeries had not been able to walk just want my parents items back!!!

My car battery went dead and by the time we got someone to jumpstart it, it was after 10:00 and we were locked in. I phoned the accident number and was connected with someone who supplied a code so we could get out...the staff was great though as we were allowed to stay past closing to finish unloading our items. I highly recommend this location as the problem with being locked in was partially my fault.

This particular location needs a NEW manager. Ms. Taylor is very unprofessional. How do you charge someone late fees but when you pay your bill, you still have a lockout lock on your rental unit 2 weeks later, and have a attitude because you asked how will you accommodate me being this is not the first臘‍♀️. The staff is lazy, rude and definitely do not walk the property.

Ten years ago the rent rate, for such a small room wasn't too bad. But, ten years later $80 is a little steep. However, the 7 day work week was a God send to the distant renter. Thank you! M.L.
