I ended up getting covid twice in 3 months and couldn't make arrangements to get my things out until I was out of Quarantine, he went beyond Great customer service to help me out! Everyone was amazing! It was my first time renting any truck. I did not know if I could manage it, alone. But everyone was so kind. They helped me chose the right truck for the job, made sure I knew how to open door, undo latch, pull out ramp, and close it up again. When the store had closed early, they let me park it at Uhaul and have the rest of 24 hours to pick up and take home. There were 4 people who helped me, a 73 yr old lady. Pulled it off! Picking up the uhaul at the Queensbury, NY location was fast and easy. The store had friendly helpful employees that were fantastic to work with. However dropping the uhaul off in Jacksonville was a headache and a half!!! First of all the location we were supposed to return the uhaul was just a storage unit that had no uhaul signs or anything. I called the number and reached a person who told me they weren't open yet because we were 3 minutes before the 9am drop off time. Looking online the site says they aren't even open at all on the weekends. I tried calling the corporate office and to get to a live person to talk to regular ding changing my drop off location was 72 minutes. I called the Queensbury office and they suggested I just find a different location so I started searching. I went to 3 other locations that were uhaul drop off spots and none were open, finally the fourth spot was open and a helpful gentleman helped me with my drop off. I suggest when booking future drop off locations to have some that are clearly labeled as a uhaul location that are either open or have a drop box for keys. I do not recommend Jacksonville's mini storage for drop off at all since this is where my scheduled drop off location was to be.Jennifer J.
They added 14,00 $ for insurance, I didn't ask for and were going to over charge me 16,00 $ for under filling the gas. I sent them pictures of the gas gage before I left and after I dropped it off. It had more gas when I dropped it off. Then they thought I hung up and were talking bad about me. Oh brotherMark M.

Don't screw your customers out of their reservation because another customer extended. Cost me 400 for movers I couldn't use because of no truck. Instead of a 20' truck for Saturday and Sunday, I was given a 15' for Sunday. Here's the icing on the cake...Sunday 0900 ,at uhaul to pick up smaller truck a day late,went through all the paperwork changes etc.,Went out to inspect truck and the entire drivers side mirror was broken off and sitting in the passenger seat! These idiots actually put this back in their system to rent! Back inside I went with the mirror in my hand. Handed it to Norman Rivers, "the manager " he huffed and puffed then disappeared out back, leaving me standing there for 15 minutes until a a different employee got me another truck. Terrible experience. I've rented trucks from here for years, under different management, and had good experiences. This manager is lacking in every skill you need to manage a business. No licence plate in the trailer. When we picked it up the girl who helped us was excellent. She told us that when we returned it that we should park it in the same spot out back. When we brought it back we did that. I went around front and told the man we were there. When he came out he immediately had an attitude! Plug it back in!! That's why it says drop-off out front!! We were taken back. I then told him to loose the attitude we were only doing what we were told. He did stop the attitude, but that was totally uncalled for. He wasn't busy when I went in, he was on a personal phone call!! I know because he said I gotta go, love you.Gary H.

The rental cost me an additional 20 $overnight fee because your app did not work properly upon return. Would not recognize my location despite all location services properly turned on and functional. Other than that everything was fine. Location services should not be a requirement for the self serve app. Only an idiot would not now if they were at the wrong location for return as it it on all pertinent paperwork and correspondence.BRANDONH G.

I reserved the truck for pick up at a location 2 miles from me. Instead, I was rerouted to a location 30 miles from me. This added an hour to my morning and evening as well as the extra cost I was charged per mile. The van I was given had a gas gauge that didn't work so I ended up having to fill up the tank on my way home and on my way backâ€¦.. further adding to the expense. While the woman I picked the van up from had excellent customer service skills, the man I dropped it off to at the end of the day never actually made eye contact and didn't respond other than mono syllabic â€œkâ€ and â€œkey.â€ I was not able to accomplish everything I needed to accomplish because of the added travel time and the whole day cost me about triple what it should have.NATALIE CHRISTIN S.

I had reserved a 15' truck MONTHS in advance (with a pick up location 2 miles from my house) for my cross country move and the DAY BEFORE I moved, I got a call saying they didn't have my truck and I had to now pick up my truck an hour away from my home. So a two hour round trip just to pick it up. Also was not offered any consolidation, extra miles, etc.Brandon D.

The uhaul location on Main St in Queensbury has been wonderful. I've had to rent from them several times over the last couple of months. They have been helpful, polite, and have clean and reliable equipment. They even helped me out when the uhaul on Dix Ave messed up and didn't have a vehicle for me when I reserved one in ample tome.Heather B.

Uhaul did not close out my account after an inspection on February 26th. Uhaul proceeded to charge card on file. I made a phone call to management who acknowledged the mistake and promised refund to card within five business days. Amex dud not refund and charged again for April directly to Amex. I called Norm who said he would take it up with Albany and return call. No call. I have contacted moving made easy which will provide evidence of February 25th move out. I rented a climate controlled unit expecting just that. However, a sign inside the building says the temperature will not go below 45F.
