The location was good. My comments below are aimed at Uhaul corporate. When I realized I was going to return my trailer late, I tried calling the location but was routed to the call center. I let them know that I would be late and they said ok. I called again to let them know that I had returned it because the location was closed. I got an automated bill 2 days later and was charged for 3 days when I only had it one. Because I only get the call center when I try to call my local store, I had to take time to go to the store and get it corrected.Kenneth H.

They did a great job at check in and the hookup of the trailer I rented. The only issue was that I could not contact anyone the day before the rental to add a n extra day. The phone system would give me a recording then hang up on me. This happened about 8 times before I gave up.Craig K.

The wait time is way too long. I would suggest to folks to go to another location unless it was absolutely necessary to come here. You desperately need more folks at the counter working to get people checked in, or maybe get them some tablets and have them work off of those, like the great fast food places are now doing. When I came to pick up the truck Clifford Cope was the gentleman at the desk. He just stood there and stared at me when I came up. I finally said "Umm I have a reservation". He never spoke and had a very sour look on his face. He then asked for my drivers licnese. He was short with anything his said and was rude. VERY poor customer service. He just handed me the keys and "the truck will be out there" Awful service. The truck was all banged up. There was no dolly like I had reserved. The employees did not go over telling me to do the link about how truck was before I left. The price WAY to high per mile and not the same as when I reserved it. Very bad experience.Kristi C.

The gentleman who checked me in on Saturday and out on Monday was so short with me. No smile, nothing. He is NOT the person who you want assisting people. When I went to return the truck he cut me off when asking where to leave the keys. I searched around the building for him, couldn't find him so I just left the keys on the seat. He has red hair, fair skinned, medium to large build. I do NOT recommend going to this location if you have to deal with him.Sameera F.

Trailer came undone while driving it back after dropping my car off. Pin that keeps the hitch attached snapped and pulled the trailer breaks causing it to go under the truck.Lucas D.
The location was good and well equipped , however it was packed for the pickup process, they really need at least a second employee for such the volume of customers. The truck they gave me the timing belt was loose and making sounds during the whole trip, they really need to do better inspections and mantainace for the trucks, also the auto transport trailer was old , rusty and had multiple bends and dents, and the belts were old and streched. They really should pay attention to the condition of an item before renting it out.Raul G.

The manager, I can't remember her name but it started with a M, was very friendly, efficient and understanding. Her staff on the other hand were not. One time even after I set up payment arrangements with the manager I was called and threatened with auction. The guy was a complete jerk and rude! Plus when I was able to come back into town to get my items a lot of my stuff was missing. I didn't realize it was missing until I started unpacking my boxes. They didn't go through individual boxes, they just took 4 of my large boxes with a lot of my decorations and personal effects. Not worth much to anyone but me and my family. I wouldn't recommend this storage facility to anyone unless they want to lose their things. Trying to close out this unit was the most awful experience. It took from June 13 to July 5 to get it resolved… I had to call multiple times and each time I never spoke to the specific location; I was forwarded to the customer service center. I was told multiple times the manager would call me from this specific location and she never did. I had to call many times over those 3 weeks so get it closed. I even did the online close out and it says someone will contact you in 48 hours. No one ever did. I then received an email that said our payment was late and there was a fee added on. I called again and the customer service center could not get in contact with the manager… so I was given her email. I voiced my frustration and all I got was a close out receipt of our unit. No apology at all. I am so upset. Customer service is so important and is lacking immensely. We also had a situation of picking up a truck to get our stuff from the storage unit. The truck was supposed to be picked up at five in the morning. My husband went to go pick it up and there were no keys. We were not told that the previous customer did not return the keys in so my husband had to wait eight hours to speak to someone at that location because it was a Sunday, and figure out a Plan B. And we only received a $50 compensation for that… I understand that it's not their fault but we should have been notified ahead of time so that my husband didn't have to waste eight hours.Marie J. | Expérience générale

This was my 5th time using this storage location, and it is very suitable with a fair price. However, lately there have been an increased number of dead insects inside my storage unit. They should probably spray the perimeter better so they don't make it inside my storage unit. The entrance has a "donation" area which turned into a junk storage area, and no one dumps the trashed items. Management routinely parks un-rented U-haul trucks in front of the customer loading dock which blocks access to pick up/drop off heavy items.David E. | Expérience générale

Very hard to access my storage to unload a trailer. Overflow of trucks only gave me a small opening to unload ... including a large step up to manage. Also, be consistent across U-HAUL regarding masks. In NORMAN OK, no mention of "wear your mask". In GRAPEVINE, TX, the employees were overbearing and unfriendly regarding the requirement to wear a mask. Rented 3011 for 2 years to store daughter's belongings. Both of us were there 2-3 days before her move on Dec 14 at which I informed UHaul that she would be moving Dec 14, any remaining items would be transferred to smaller unit which she would rent and pay for and I would not be financially responsible after Dec 31 inalienable payment. The guy that noted all this in the computer said 3011 would be closed when my daughter closed unit on Dec 14. My daughter rented Unit 3123 on Dec 14, the day she had movers empty 3011. The same plastic card was given back to her that day even though 3011 has been empty and closed since Dec 14. It was never "closed" from your records until Jan 8th. The store off of William Tate os the nest store I have ever used. Equipment is clean and ready to go. On my last day when I was turning in my key, I observed Mark Molina being treated HORRIBLY by a customer when he asked her and her 2 grown children if she had a mask because it said on the front door you need one. She was so rude, and wrong (I am a doctor). Mark handled it so well, he asked her to go outside and someone would help her there. He said it happens every day. I've had multiple storage units with Grapevine over the past 5 years and have had excellent experience. The units are immaculate and secure, I've literally never seen a storage facility as clean and kept up as this one. Marisel and her team in the office have always helped me when I had any questions regarding storage or when it came time for my move and went above and beyond to make that easy as well. I was on an automatic pay. 3 times I was locked out of my unit. You would think this would be impossible, but they did it. There was a time we had 8 units with U-Haul in the past. The Uhaul service in Grapevine was excellent. After terrible service in Cumming, GA we were reluctant to try another Uhaul, but because of proximity, we thought we could try once more. This one is the exact opposite of the one in Cumming. Friendly, helpful, had lots of staff to help us, we will use again several times in this move as we are also moving other family members near us. U-Haul is not what you think of in the 70's or 80's. I found my experience to be, from getting my hitch installed in MD, storing my stuff in Grapevine to be outstanding experience. Had I known the experience I was in for, I would not have stressed my self out so much. Your CSR people where nothing but outstanding as well. I had problems with billing. My husband and I signed up for automatic billing. It did not happen and then they would tack on late charges. That happened twice. Then in May they call us and tell us our storage unit had not been closed all the way and my glass table was busted and things were missing. This was temporary storage for us until the military shipped the rest of our things overseas. Also, they do not tell you that if you get your things out early it is not prorated you still pay the full amount. I cancelled my credit card so they could not refill me after all my things were removed. Since, I had so many problems with them billing me. The manager was rude she was supposed to call me back the first week of March and her response was I called you in May. It was to tell me about the unit not being locked not the problems I was having with billing. She was rude to me when I comforted her about it. I would not recthem.Pamela R. | Expérience générale

I cleaned my storage area out on the 25th of April; I informed the staff. Subsequently I was charged a late fee and requested for the following month's rent. I did not receive confirmation of my vacate notice until several days and phone calls later. Everyone at this location was super friendly but one employee in particular (Bridget) was more than helpful! After a long day of driving a trailer to move some stuff into storage temporarily, she helped make the process as easy as possible. When I realized the original unit I reserved wouldn't be big enough, she kindly and patiently helped me reserve a new one and re-did the check-in process. She went out of her way to make sure the unit I got was easily accessible from the elevator and answered all of my questions.
