Newly laid concrete and asphalt delayed my move out but, in the end, wasn't an issue. Now there is brand new pavement with WIDE access.

Jason C.I was given the Uhaul at 1/16 of a tank of gas. I returned it at 1/8 tank of gas. I'm then told that I'm being charged because I didn't bring it back at a 1/4 tank. So I was supposed to return it with $45 of more gas then what it was given to me AND you would have already charged the person that dropped it off before me for dropping it off below a 1/4 tank and then not gone and put the gas in that you charged them for. So let's recap. You charged the previous person for a fuel surcharge then expected me to pay to bring it up to 1/4 tank which is what you should have done with the money the previous renter paid. Now because I have brought it back at 1/8 tank (which is more than I received it at) You're charging yet again for gas that you won't go out and put in. Please explain to me why I owe you a fuel surcharge and then when you're done please refund the fuel surcharge that was just placed on my card.

Jose G.I originally reserved a unit at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Libertyville months in advance. When I arrived, however, I was told that there was no unit of the proper size available. The manager there, Greg, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, apologizing for the situation and helping me get set up with a unit in Gurnee. The staff and conditions at the Gurnee location were great. Despite having a good experience with the staff at both locations, my rating is heavily influenced by the fact that the reservation I made was not honored. It seems to me that this policy creates a lot of avoidable trouble for the U-Haul staff and customers. I feel that it is irresponsible for U-Haul to continue allowing people to reserve units that are not actually available.

ROBERT S.They have charge me extra without any reason the staff member did a mistake and I had to pay 50 dollars extra when I tried to reach the manager or another staff member I was on the phone for 45 minutes to an hour and no one helped me and hang up the phone I had a very bad experience and would not recommend very poor management and staffing they don't know what are they doing I have told them couple times to set up a direct deposit and every time they make a mistake and I was the one paying for their mistakes.
