When I arrived, the previous customer did not bring the truck on time (8,3am). I asked the attendant to call the customer, her said that he did say 7,15am but she was mad for waking her up and that he'd try again at 9 am as to not upset the customer. I asked then what about v me? He said that I just had to wait. I waited till 9am patiently till 9am when the truck arrived. It was a bizarre experience.Bruce Lee D.

The Assistant Manager gave me the General Managers CARGO TRUCK being smart considering his boss Ethan still was on VACATION and now the ASSISTANT MANAGER who told me I was calling him the wrong name(which was a BOLD FACE LIE) thinks im going 2 allow him as a Assistant manager charge me over 6 004 $a ACCIDENT( I didn't cause on purpose) considering it was NO CAR ACCIDENT INVOLVED!!! TELL ETHAN HIS BOSS MY STORY. I have since been in contact with Ethan Stell & informed him I will be there 2 pay THE CORRECT AMOUNT once they send me via email the PROOF OF DAMAGES via SAFELITE REPAIR/ SAFELITE REPLACE measurements! I have NO PROBLEM PAYING 4 A ACCIDENT I COULDN'T PREVENT when there were NO CARS INVOLVED AT ALL WHAT SO EVER!!!!!!! So based on the invoice I received from Ethan Stell & the PROOF I HAVE FROM MY BANK my money should have NOT BEEN RELEASED 2 ME ON SATURDAY,when I talked 2 Ethan I INFORMED HIM I NEEDED THE RENTAL 4 FOUR DAYS NOT NO 2 4 DAYS. When I tried 2 call Ethan 2 let him know what happened, I was informed he was on VACATION!!! So I waited until I could get ahold of him(ETHAN STELL) 2 let him know I definitely am not AVOIDING MY RESPONSIBILITY only i need measurements to get my own QUOTE FROM SAFELITE REPAIR ON EISENHOWER BLVD in Harrisburg Pennsylvania considering i have a RIGHT 2 GET MY OWN PAPERWORK @ the REPAIR SHOP OF MY CHOICE!!!!!!! This has nothing to do with this specific location but the new(newer) process for checking vehicles back in after hours. After transporting large, heavy, or a full truckload of items, the last thing someone wants to do is spend time taking pictures and all of the other things that uhaul associates used to do the next morning to check a truck back in. I was one screen away from checking the truck in on the website and my phone died. I had to sit in my car for an additional 20 mins to wait for my phone to charge up to 2 % only to find I had to take all of the pictures again. I'm so lucky I had that charging cord, I'm not sure what I would have done if my phone had died and I had to drive home, charge my phone, and come back. I'm sure there are times when customers trash vehicles and that these measures were put in place to save associate time and all of that, but after the long day I had trying to move a 600 lb item, that was probably the worst experience I've had in a long time.JACLYN G.

Truck had a broken drivers seat. Caved in to the left and made it very uncomfortable to sit in. No USB ports for cell phone charger and it rode really rough. Customer service at the location was great. Just need to fix their equipment.RYAN M.

Got charged for an extra two hours when originally I had a reservation for two days and then all I did was change the time to an earlier time to pick it up and they call me and tell me did they only have 24 hours available kind of a disappointment had to rent another truck from another companySETH R.

Well my tail lights didn't work, because of that you can't take the trailer , lights have to be working. To my surprise the guy was very knowledgeable of the wiring and started trying to help me Find the issue. Probably since it hasn't been used since 2011, obviously little rust. I just knew I was about to pay at the butt to get this fixed to my surprise he worked on it for about an hour, and I was charged 22 $to rerun a hotwire. I was honestly expecting 125 $charge. My point is you'll have my service and my business for life, at no point did they take a avantage of my situation and lights not working to make more money off me. That gets my Respect. I plan to return and drop off a small hank you for the guy that worked on it this week. Great job great service â€¦Brandon M.

Overall great experience! However, I very disappointed in the customer service experience I had with Julie. We called to extend due to our closing being delayed and was rudely told the truck needed to be back in 2 hours, this put us in total panic mode!! We had no home!! We called back and spoke to a very kind and understanding gentleman whom was glad to help and he easily (w/o hesitation) extend our rental.BENJAMIN D.
Associates were not friendly, I really felt like like I was bothering them. Regardless, I got through the process and the trailer I rented was good. However, I get a phone call from the center telling me that I would charged 20 $for not contacting them to tell them I dropped the trailer off. I told the rep that absolutely no one told me of this policy. I specifically asked how I was to handle dropping off the trailer as I knew I would be dropping it off after hours, and my booking rep told me to just drop it off the lot. In fact I dropped it back I picked it up. Not happy about this. I'm not sure I will use them again. Courtesy is bad enough but to avoid disclosing this important policy is untruthful.DAVE B.

We had a reservation at longs nursery in Palmyra Pa. When I arrived for pick up I was told that my reservation had been changed to pick up in Harrisburg. No call, text, or email from uhaul although the contact info was provided. No conformation call the day before as promised. No apology from any agent. Called uhaul â€œneed helpâ€ number and no one picked up. I gave up after 45 minutes.ANDREW S.
Again the hitch to ball connection seemed loose and was a bit concerning on a empty trail but once it had a load in it I wasn't as concerned. Though I think hitch to ball connections should be checked and maintained. I did inform the associate when I returned the hitch, not sure if anything was done.James B.

It took a bit to reserve the truck because the gentleman waiting on me was talking to the clerk and customer next to me. They were from the same area and they were talking about it. Then he had an issue and they spent more time working on that and less on getting me out.Deborah S.
Extremely disappointed. Booked a trailer at one location but it got transferred to another location. Was never notified that the original location didn't have what I reserved. I even changed the time of pickup a few days after making the reservation and that person didn't say anything. When we finally got to where the trailer was, there was problems getting the wiring to connect. The rep had to duct tape it to make it work. When we told them what happened and the inconvenience they acted like the didn't give a crap. The major inconvenience put us 2 hours behind schedule. Had a better experience returning the vehicle. Wayne was extremely helpful and even took some money off our total bill. He didn't have too but it was appreciated. Overall, definitely won't use the two locations we went too but will still use Uhaul if needed.SANDRA H.

Things you can do to improve? Hmmm, let's see. How about having the trucks that people reserve actually at the location they reserved them at? That would be huge. I mean, after all, you may know how to take the reservation, you just don't seem to know how to hold the reservation. And, really, that's the most important part. The day before I was to pick up my truck I received a call saying that it would not be at the location I desired and that I would have to drive about 45 miles to pick it up. Rather inconvenient. Two minutes later, the same person called back to say, sorry, your truck actually will be at the location you requested. Great! However, when I went to my pick up locatonthe next day at 8am I was told, sorry, no truck for you!! We'll call you if anything changes...what?!? Well, about two hours later, I did indeed receive a call telling me that...great news, we have a truck for you!! Woo hoo! You only have to drive an hour to pick it up. Not having much choice...seeing as I had already reserved loading help and a hotel room for our long drive from PA to FL...we drove the hour, picked up the truck, and drove another hour back to our house where the movers had dutifully waited. By this time, 2 1/2 of the 4 hours I had booked and already paid for (through your service!!!) were gone. Luckily, the movers were able to stay an extra half hour and were able to get about three-quarters of the truck loaded. Guess who had to load the rest? Needless to say, and as I'm sure you're gathering at this point, I was a little (haha) disappointed with your service and I will NEVER...repeat...NEVER use your company again or recommend you to anyone else. Could not stand the way one worker talk to another worker in front of customers and his name was Willie a regular worker acting like he is a boss then when I confronted Willie he said he was only kidding just to try to cover his butt I called that harassment harassing another worker this worker is part time just trying to learn the business do not have to talk to that worker like that in front of the customers you are wrong and if Willie was so perfect why was not the truck in the front ready to go but no it was in between two other trucks so the worker that he was talkin to like that had to come outside and move the truck because Willie could not do it I will expose them workers that harass other workers that is why people do not want to come to work working with people like that who wants to work in a place like that being harassed talked to like that wait for all the customers to leave then talk to your coworker I live down the street I will drive all the way into the city of Harrisburg to get a U-Haul truck now I will not go back there I do not care for people like thatDEAN S.
