I feel for the customer, they should get their money worth, at lease a clean truck. The customer should not have clean up the vehicle before and after use of it.

Chech-in was fast and simple. The associate was very kind.
Was told we could return trailer to any location in Knoxville. That he would just pick one so we would have address. This was not true. Had to drive an hour out of our way to return trailer as nearest location round not accept.
The staff was wonderful and very kind. They answered all of our questions and got us on our way quickly and efficiently. I also spoke to the customer service line before pick up and they were wonderful and so helpful as well.
Customer service was the absolute worst.

I was told on the phone that the charge for renting 6 furniture pads was $5.00 but it was actually $10.00.

I object to being forced to pay for Milage AND Fuel. When doing taxes, one can claim only one or the other, it is unfair and possibly illegal to force your cost of doing business upon your customers. Either charge for milage -OR- fuel.

Do not charge such an up-charge for pickup and return. That much of an up-charge is ridiculous.
Everything was great. I could not be more pleased. I accidentally left my new rental agreement on the dash of the vehicle rented. I'm going to call first thing tomorrow morning.

Completely different experience from our pick up location. The drop off location is what all u-haul locations should strive to be. Helpful and respectful employees. Clean location with easy in and out for drop off.
I had dropped off 2 other rental trucks to the Laguna Beach UHaul location which is only 2 miles from my home here in Panama City, I went to turn it in on Friday which was a day early and the manager at that facility would not except it saying she didn't have room, there's at least a 2 acre lot behind her office and storage facility. They told me I would have to take it approximately 20 miles east of Laguna Beach location which was a total inconvenience and I had a 50.00 Uber ride to get back home. That is unacceptable customer service
This location is perfect, I wouldn't change a thing.
I did make my reservation to include a furniture dolly, which was not on the truck when I picked up. I didn't realize it until I got home. My bill shows I still got charged for it. I will note that I needed to extend my truck reservation several times due to an injury, and the staff were phenomenally helpful in accommodating me. Overall a good experience.
I rented a trailer, don't make it the customers responsibility to make sure something is not taken after return provide a lock. Also, your app was not working and I spent a extra 45 minutes on the lot on top of a busy day....

We had to go to 3 different locations to get a trailer then double charged this is second time I've been double charged when renting your equipment
We arrived at 950am on Thursday 12/31/20 and spoke with I believe Ty. We told him we would need at least 24 hours and he said u cant bring it by 10pm? "Beaune you know its the last day of the month and end of the year", we advised no way we could but we would have back the next morning. When first got in the unit the radio didn't work, then when we started to drive it there was smoke coming out of the exhaust, and the brakes were grinding, it pulled really hard to the left while driving. We get to or place to load belongings up and got the truck loaded and went to start it and the check engine light was on and there was no power steering. I checked the power steering and it was bone dry. I took a picture of the cap of what it said it took and sent my wife to the auto parts stores. I put the power steering fluid in and it started but it was still smoking and had a rattle to. My wife tried to call the location but just kept getting the record and no information about emergency situations such as breaking down. The paperwork was in another vehicle so we couldn't look at it. Then when we arrived to drop the vehicle off we explained what issues we had with it and he didn't seem to care to much. He had his phone in his coming out the door and looked up one time while we explained the situation. All he could say was oh ok we will have it looked at. Literally no customer service at all. He told us the total and said he would email the receipt shortly or if I really needed a paper receipt he could get me one but it would take him a few minutes. I advised the email receipt was fine because at that point I was not impressed with the customer service of either of the men we dealt with. The unit we rented probably shouldn't have even been at the road at the time. This location use to be the best around, but I can say that its going down and fast. Its truly a shame when this company has been since I was a small child. I definitely was not impressed with the, Lack of info for issues,, rental, customer service! I'll be sharing my experience and will be leaning to profressial mover here on out. If you are wanting to receive customer service, half decent vehicle to make ur move u may wabtv
My thanks should also be extended to the location where I initially went to secure a rental. Although no vehicle was available at this location, James at Excell Storage in Clarksville (and his boss) were extremely helpful. Please extend my thanks to them as well.
We had a very good experience.
The staff and particularly management were understanding, helpful and very kind as I got behind on payments due to lack of income as a result of COVID during this past year. Management offered solutions to late payments and even non- payments without incurring late fees and even accepted partial payments in order to allow me to get caught up. If I were to have any negative comment at all it would be because of the wait time when calling to speak with an associate... However this is completely understandable with a smaller staff due to COVID. Even the answering service staff were friendly and helpful when I had to leave a message for an associate to call me back. In that event I always received a call back from a Uhaul associate in a timely manner with details of my call. My overall experience during this difficult time over the past year is excellent. I was able to retrieve all the possessions I had in storage. Thank you folks... B. Wilson

I was charged for 2 furniture dollies when I was only given one. After 30 minutes or more on the phone, I was able to connect with someone who was able to fix the charge. Did most of checking in online, front desk guy was nice, checked out via my phone. Was easy to do.

I would like to have had the last month pro rated and had some money returned since I did not use the unit for the whole month. Also an additional charge for 24 hr access seems silly
The young gentleman that are at the front of the facility or not the greatest when it comes to customer service. Very dull not engaging. It’s very apparent they are not happy there. The other thing I would like to comment on is the bathroom facility that area needs some work Sink is coming off the wall and the soap that is available is limited. I know from owning my own business OSHA requirements and things like that this is not at all up to par. Huge liability with the sink and it doesn’t take much to install a sink soap dispenser. The lighting upstairs if you’re trying to empty your unit goes out a little too quickly maybe you can Extend the timer. Other than that your facility seems to be clean I would’ve liked to of known where the stairs were in case of fire never did find those just a safety precaution for new customers to maybe give them a tour of where the fire exit doors are. I wish you all success thank you so much for providing the storage for the year.
Employees were already out checking in a trailer, so checking in was very quick. No complaints.
We needed to finish clearing out a storage unit & realized a trailer would be very helpful. I went online & reserved for Sat which was a piece of cake! I esp liked that i was not charged until I picked it up! I then called Sat morning to push our pick up time back 1/2 hr & extend our time from 6 to 7 hours. All this was easily accomodated by Joy. On arrival, check in was quick & easy. Trailer was easily accessible, but we had too large of a ball so we had to go get our other hitch & then return. All in all, this was an extremely smooth rental & we would definitely return. This is the 2nd time we have used this location & have been very pleased each time. Return is also fast, friendly & efficient! Justin Finch checked us in, but I didn't catch the name of the young man who checked us in.
The staff at this location are the most polite and helpful people I have dealt with in a long time. My compliments to the entire staff!
Everything went well. The employees weren't very friendly. They did a good job but it wasn't friendly. Not rude, just not welcoming.
We were sent an email that said if we paid in advance we would receive a free lock and not have to check in at the desk. There was no lock in the shed so we had to purchase a lock, which was not expected, and we were unable to get the door to shut as the metal piece was stuck and would not move. What appeared to be an easy move in process turned to be a fiasco. Not to mention that we paid and were billed a week in advance of when the unit was needed for the easy of move in and free lock and that did not happen. I even called to alert that the bill stated the move in day was listed as the day I paid, not the day I selected on the form, i was told it was not an issue, it was all set on their end, it clearly was not.
I would recommend getting work orders complete when requested, sooner than later. I had to take a unit further away from elevator due to the door not lining up correctly to open and close the latch....easy fix.

I was charged $20 for not returning 3 moving blankets. Sad. And to make matters worse, I was charged an additional day for truck rental even though I had three more available days. Thankfully, the U-haul 800 number was able to credit the truck, however they could not address the blanket charge and advised me to contact the local store. But when I call the local store, the call rolls back to 800 number. This is not exactly the way I would manage the local U-haul office. I might check the contract more carefully to make sure I don't over charge the customer, or maybe reach out to a lifetime customer about 3 misplaced blankets before charging the full amount. Instead, I have to spend time straightening out the silly mistakes and remove years of positive U-haul experiences.
The staff must follow the lead of the manager by the name of Ty..who is the worst ever with customer service. They act as you owe them something for being there. HE ALSO HAS the PERSONALITY of a rock

Very bad service at the desk. Only made the reservation to take advantage of my Uhaul first month free and was told No. I was told since the unit was their last 10x20 that the offer didn't matter.
My experience with this storage unit was good except the fact that the elevator always had issues. However the staff was helpful and did their best to correct the situation.
FRIENDLY SERVICE, VERY HELPFUL, PATIENT, OFFERED INFORMATION ON OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE AND BEST ECONOMICAL OPTIONS. THESE ARE NOT SALESMAN, THEY ARE YOUR FRIENDS.
Our service was really really bad should have been a one-day move it wind up getting into four and a half days so we had to get a motel room and stay the night in there so now I will send an email
Forcing comments to submit this survey is irritating. The Hendersonville U-haul was exceptional. Corporate demanding written response is poor judgement.

Lacked customer service. On check out day finally got someone who was helpful and courteous.
Unfortunately there is a lot of problems with the elevator. We were there for about 8 years with no issues until lately. We were actually trapped in the elevator for 15 minutes and could not get it

I paid for UHAUL to receive shipments for me and they were left in the parking lot, in the rain, exposed for anyone to take if they wanted to. The elevator was always broken. The doors were not lock

I was quite disappointed to learn that you do not pro-rate and return balance of money paid when exiting rental space. I probably won't use Uhaul again for this reason.

I did not attend the storage facility in Hendersonville. My 4-UBOXes were shipped there and they delivered to my house. Staff were easy to communicate with by phone. The unloading crew were Excellent
we had U-Boxes delivered from this facility. They were timely, professional and accommodating.
There were no problems encountered during my usage of a unit there and the staff were always helpful and courteous.
Was on the 3rd floor and never had any air at all. Always was very hot. The fan was never fixed. My unit had 4 doors and always a problem with only one lock.

Actually never saw the facility in person. The reason I am just giving a grade of average, is that the box sat in Hendersonville nearly a week before delivery! Not good. Could have done it sooner?

No problems moving in. But asking someone to call or come in every day in an order to reserve a 10x10 room is a bit much. Luckily, it worked out and we got a storage room after driving 11 hours.
Storage facilities are excellent. Ubox is highly recommended. Great staff.
I was contacted by a staff member about my UBox in the very beginning, but was not contacted again. I tried to call and the employee I was connected to was rude and I was put on long holds.

I had to do several after hour accesses and sometimes had trouble getting my access card/code to work. The staff were always very helpful.
I have been trying to get in touch with management for 3 days about being charged a wrongful storage fee ofnkver $400. I’m still waiting and nothing has been fixed. Worst customer service ever.

I had a great experience! They had trouble opening the ubox I used because the previous location drilled in the screws wrong, but the guys at the facility figured out the problem within minutes.
