I don't know why, but every u-Haul location takes so long just to look up whether a particular vehicle or trailer is available and how much it will cost for a customer. My recommendation would be for a new software system that would streamline that daily routine in an effort for to improve the customer experience.MUR D.

Truck needed repairs check engine light was on driver sun visor was broken and was hanging in front of me by one bolt air pressure monitor was showing low tire pressures and ABS warning lights where flashing on and off I have used a lot of rental trucks from uhaul over the years and this was the worst experience and far as safe truck I had ever had thank god I was only driving it 20 miles round trip and for almost 60 use fees I should have requested a partial or full refund but did not feel like argue with the staff over there sub standards trucksWayne T.

The people at the N Main High Point, NC center were hard workers, friendly & efficient. Very clean store. Complaints, have the trucks FULL of gas so we can return them full instead of guessing what to put in so I don't get hammered if it's not perfect, PITA. I used to drive straight trucks for a living so I'll say the steering was sloppy on the truck I rented, needs to be adjusted, was hard to keep on track especially in cross winds. Right mirror frozen was unable to adjust it properly. I know I'm being picky but those are safety concerns especially since people with no truck driving experience rent them. Truck was comfortable, clean and just what I needed. Would rent from them again.Robert H.

This was a substitute pickup location, 25 miles from the location I reserved. The staff at this location was great. UHaul is the worst in terms of having the right truck at the right location. I don't know why you bother having an online reservation system.Steve B.
Set my reservation for 2 miles from my home and then got called while I was asleep because I work 3rd shift and had to spend half an hour on the phone with some random agent from Uhaul to find another van. Then once they set that up I called the place where it was and the phone number is a fax line and had to call back for another half hour to set up equipment 30 miles from where I was moving. Then the fuel in the equipment was not accurate to the paperwork on my contract, and when I left to go start my move I rode by the original place I was renting from and they had the equipment I needed there the whole time so I end up having to pay your stupid rates for mileage on this rental when what I needed was 2 miles from my home.Roy F.

I would recommend them but I would definitely caution them to pay attention to their invoice. Customer service was subpar and I was charged insurance and I specifically said I didn't want it. I called customer service when I realized it had been added to my invoice and they said I would hear from some in 24-48hrs and I have yet to hear back from anyone.Tia W.

The management and employees were all extremely professional and truly very helpful for me. Honestly if I were moving or transporting anything again within 75 miles, I would go to the N. Main Street High Point NC location to do so, because I felt that the customer service was so good from the staff, the items needed and then more were available, (hitches.. I needed one for my truck, cables, locks, etc etc etc). A++!! I will definitely use again anytime their services are needed. They all deserve repeat business if and when possible. I am prior service Army, I have relocated multiple times in multiple states, and this is one of the better if not the best U-haul locations that I have ever been to.Graham H.
My reservation was cancelled the same day I was slated to move in. There was 0 communication. My wife, and brother-in law had to wait until the next business day as the staff drove away for the night laugh at us. Your store scheduled closing time for the day I returned the truck was 7pm. I returned the truck around 6:45pm. Your rep made a comment to me that I was cutting it close but they would still process the return. I said you don't close until 7pm. He said well we usually stop processing returns at 6:30pm. Moving stuff is a pain in general this has been worse than usual. The manager left without assisting us. Another employee terminated our move in agreement without my signature or approval earlier in the same day. And as a result I had to stay in a hotel and find a last minute dog sitter. This has been my worst move in experience. I wish any other Uhaul storage facility in a 30 mile radius had a similar sized unit available. The only issue upon moving in was that there was no free lock in our unit. Luckily we had one on our trailer, but this might have been more problematic for someone else who would have had to leave to go get one. It was a Sunday so we couldn't go in to see anyone. Not sure if the facility requires you to use that type of lock, but I haven't heard from anyone so I assume it's not an issue. We had a truck in winston seeing that's where we live and where moving however moving day said location had no trucks. We ended up having to drive all they way to high point to get a truck. the security gate was broken for most of the time I had the unit. I was given a 'VIP' rate, but, U-haul didn't know about it, so the final straw was a notice stating my items would be sold for non-payment. the employee thought my concerns were funny. POOR customer service. however, the last employee was absolutely the BEST! I wouldn't have left U-haul if the quality of all of the employees was like him. A 60 charge to my debit card was unauthorized and without my knowledge charged without any type of COMMUNICATION with me by the manager. He denied the fact THAT he did it and REFUSED TO LOOK AT THE RECIEPT I had obtained from Corporate. HE WENT BEHIND MY BACK AND CHARGED MY DEBIT CARD WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT WHILE I WAS STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. My overall experience with U-Haul was TERRIBLE! The unit (1810) had a horrible odor that developed after the first few days. The smell was much like a dead animal or rodent. But my main problem was the LACK OF COMMUNICATION that existed. Even though I paid my bill I received three (3) "Pre-Lien" letters stating stating I had not paid my bill. When I told the manager he stated "those letters are from Corporate, they don't mean anything, just throw them away." This made no sense.
