Long wait even though line was short. Dolly that was reserved was unavailable. U-haul app couldn't deal with a late pickup, prompted me to find a truck that wasn't there, and couldn't process the return. Return wasn't processed by staff for a day and I had to contact customer support and reassure them that the truck had been returned.

Inside of truck was dirty, nobody helped me out to truck with dolly, waited 30 minutes at end of long moving day just to check out and wouldn't refund untouched wrapping paper boxes.

I was supposed to get a 26 foot truck but they called me the day before to tell me they didn't have any and they would offer me a 15 foot truck. This would cause me to making multiple trips and i hired movers only 2 hours to load the truck. So she said she would give me one truck for 60 $. When I went to pay for the truck it was 177 $. This was not what I agreed to, this was not what I reserved and when I tried to call customer service, I was on forever hold time! This was the worst experience with uhaul and I always go with you guys. This will be the last and I will be telling all my friends and social media!

Get friendly people at counter who do not act like they hate the world, their job, the customers. Workers who act like they want to help you not make you want to walk back out the door. The young man who retrieved my trailer and hooked it up was very efficient, professional and helpful whenI asked him to inflate the low tires on my rental trailer before I drove it off the lot.

I picked up my truck on 10/15 at 9AM and returned it on 10/15 at 3pm, an hour before I was scheduled to return it. When I returned the truck I checked in with two employees one outside and one inside and followed their drop off instructions. I then received a call from a panicked woman the next morning at 7am demanding I return their truck immediately. After I informed her that I had returned the truck the prior day she said “well you must have done it improperly”. This was not a pleasant call to receive. Better communication among the staff would improve the customer experience. Good luck.

The return process was a bit slow, even though there were only two people returning trailers. One employee did not seem to be interested to helo me, but another guy showed up to show me where to leave the trailer.

The running lights on the trailer did not function. All interactions online and on the phone were HORRIBLE! These were not with the local store. YOUR WEBSITE AND PHONE SYSTEMS SUCK!

My trailer was filthy with dirt inside when I picked it up. Then there was a problem with the wiring harness when they connected it as the tail lights, hazard lights and left rear turn signal did not work. An employee supposedly fixed the wiring problem and I went on my way. Then part way through my 1 000 mile trip the wiring problem occurred again with the exact same problems. I complained to your agent on the phone after I turned in the trailer and received no compensation or credit towards a future rental for your shoddy service.

My pickup location was switched which made it really inconvenient and the customer service rep who was on the phone with me sounded like she just woke up and could care less about the problem they caused me. This was a terrible experience. The number I called was 303.922.8914

My uhaul reservation pick up location without any communication to me. When I got to this location the lady checking me out was rude, short, unhelpful and not nice to work with. The gentleman who helped us hook up the trailer was much nicer.

I received an amount due bill based on extra miles. The bill said "The amount can be paid at the nearest U-Haul location." I went to the 1750 E County Line Rd., Highlands Ranch, CO 80126 location and the man at the counter said they had no way of taking payment. I took my bill with me and gave the man at the counter the contract number. He said go online to pay it. He had no idea how to take payment.

Counter employees were rude and disinterested in helping. Ridiculed the customer in front of me behind his back when he asked for help with equipment. Automated system unnecessarily lengthy and cumbersome. Prefer personal service when returning equipment to ensure proper handling and billing. Highlands Ranch used to be a friendly, efficient location.

There was super load rap music coming from the shop area, I was never greeted and the desk lady said she had been there for 8yrs, but was super unfriendly. I have been coming here for 15yrs, but I am trying Enterprise down the street next time.

I reserved a trailer and 2 dozen furniture pads 2 weeks in advance, and checked in 24 hrs before pickup. I get there, wait for 20 mins while the gal behind the counter has a 20 minute personal conversation with someone, finally someone helps check me out, hooks up the trailer, then tells me the store had just given away the last of the furniture pads, and it was up to me to drive around/call around to other U-haul locations to track down furniture pads. I will NEVER use this location again.

not happy though they put where i was to drop off when asked to change it because 30 miles south, they said no and i would be charged. Nice way to deal with a nonprofit and when called to asking the change the main uhaul office just hung up,.Crappy customer service for sure, not by highlands ranch office but uhaul the main office

Actually the Van was clean and ran quite well. No issues except the windows would not roll down. But the a/c worked great so it wasn't an issue for me. That said, it is a potential safety issue and something that should be addressed at inspection.

The vehicle was not finished on time. It was actually a day late and then the work was not done correctly. The manager was rude and not willing to listen to my gripe with the work. The next day, I discussed with the manager to pay the invoice minus 105 $as he agreed and we thought were done. Not at all, he then put a lock on my account so I had to pay that 105 $before we could rent any UHAUL two weeks later. He already agreed, but now he was going back on his deal and he then lied, making it very difficult on us out of spite. The manager of this location is Really unprofessional and can not be trusted. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Very busy location. Employee turnover probably biggest problem. Helpful when there were problems; just had too much experience with problems. Confusion in record keeping, etc. They work hard, and can be nice, fix issues when they can. They MUST improve logistics. Access hours comment due to improperly working security; alarms go off, card system is spotty, at best.

The new manager, RYAN is the ONLY reason I would recommend this location! I have been working with another location, I believe the new “Lot Person “, Remeem (Probably misspelled) older gentleman, that has served in the Army and Navy, has good customer skills. He is new, and says he would like to have more training.

I walked in to rent a 6'x12' trailer and the woman at the counter was not professional when I said that I was a walk in and needed to rent a trailer. It seemed that she was very put out that I did not make a reservation and did not use the app to set it all up. When she finished and handed me the rental paperwork, she said just pull up to the trailers and someone would hook it up. When I asked which trailer it was she said I don't know just pull up out there. I walked out and looked at the paperwork and found the trailer number myself and backed up to it. This was not fun, it was like I was ruining her day. Also, the trailer had some damage on it and the guy helping me hook it up did not take the time to note it, I am glad I received the link for check and was able to note it. I was not pleased with the customer service I experienced.

No confirmation from U-Haul regarding reservation. Not open on time. Representative too busy complaining and chastising a coworker to even look at us. They vaguely say where to find your vehicle but no review of vehicle prior. No dolly which we paid for. Nobody available when bringing truck back.

I rate the location high but the Company NO... I was quoted one price, then charged another.. 1st location rent it before we got there, 2nd location never heard of and the last one rented us a trailer they couldn't find so they had to redo paper work for one they could locate... I called ahead a week in advance to reserve a storage unit for the 15ft truck I was renting. Then when I showed up they didn't have any record of my reservation and had sold out of the available size. They tried to offer me two smaller units but it wasn't enough to fit my materials. I had to search for a different storage unit elsewhere.

Added 24 hour access.... first access worked after hours... second access did not work...attempted contact with customer service they didn't have the ability to give me access, did not establish contact with the manager, and did not offer any type of compensation, they were no help... manager durrell middleton did not answer to help nor had alternate options to resolve the issue at the time of the dispute... Was not able to access MY stuff needed and caused anxiety attack with my autism. If you need storage I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere and don't do business with Mr. Middleton

The counter lady was not friendly at all. She gave short answers and was more interested in interacting with the other employees than the customer. The moving pads and appliance dolly were just put on the ground and I was told they would be out there and pointed to an area. I felt that my presence was annoying her.

I went in on two separate days and Jasmine was amazing. Every customer in the store thought she was great and she created a wonderful environment. She was friendly and had an understanding of everything going on. I was a regional manager for restaurants for 7 years and could never find employees that represented both the company and humanity in such great regard. This store is lucky to have her.

To put it simply, this was a terrible experience. I had a reservation to pick up at 8 am and return the next morning at another location. Upon my husband arriving, Laurie Ziegler informed him that they didn't have a truck available but actually they did but they really needed the truck and was convincing us not to rent it. He disagreed and she reluctantly gave us the truck and asked to have it back by noon but then said 4 pm. Again, I had a 24 hour rental paid for already. This is ridiculous. She then cancelled the contract I already had to make a new one. Now I already paid but she made a new reservation. The truck was filthy sand in it and we were reminded again to turn it in clean. Upon returning the truck another employee said we would need to call the 800 number to get a refund and would be emailed the new invoice. All in all this is an experience I would not recommend to anyone and I had in the past. Get your reservations to mean something and provide basic customer service. Please contact me with any questions.

Waited about 30 minutes for someone to help hook up the auto transport trailer so had to ask for help, was questioning the condition of the ball coupler during the employee's hook up , so my better half video'd it, when we went to load the car, the trailer popped off the hitch ball which could have caused a major disaster on the highway.

When asked how long the rental was for, the answer was "anytime", not mentioning after 6 hours it doubles the price. While reserving it online, my total was 30,00 $, which I thought was a good deal. No mention of all the extra cost. I would have kept it at 6 hours would I have known that. No recommendations from me, only an explanation of what happened.

There was an alarm that sounded right when I opened the unit door. That was rather disconcerting, but, given the way online registration and taking ownership is managed, I'm assuming the alarm was to alert the staff of my taking possession.

I was given 2 different storage units that were already locked and other people were already renting. Then I ended up getting a smaller unit and I was there for 2 hours dealing with this. Neither person working knew the system or knew what they were doing and it was a huge waste of time.

Customer service was great at the storage location and it is a good deal with the first month free; however after the first month anything bigger than a 5 X 5 is very expensive. I will pay over 185 $/mn for my 10 X 10. The other problem I had with the physical location was how hot it was in the storage facility. The A/C was on but it felt very warm when we were moving our items in the unit. UHaul can make the temperature more comfortable for their movers in the facilities. Customer service on the phone was awful with long wait times, disconnection, drop off location confusion, and poor willingness to clear up the problem. Because of that I will not use UHaul again.

This was all a huge mess. I reserved (2) 15'x10' storage units to arrive at the site and find (6) 5'x10' units as if that is the same thing. Things do not fit as well into smaller areas, and they cost me more for the same space. The general manager of this location did nothing to make it better and I was unable to ever even get ahold of him. The general manager also seems to be a bit of a gate keeper so it is a bigger issue than it might otherwise be. The staff is super helpful when they have the power to be, but getting the proper price rate is not in their ability to provide. I failed to get ahold of him for 8 weeks while I was renting those 6 storage units. I was told that he was the only one that could honor the price I was quoted when reserving online. 6 office visits (he never works) and 3 unreturned voicemails later, I overpaid by a couple hundred dollars, so I don't really care about how clean the facility or friendly the staff is, they can't get it above average. You failed.

Anxiety inducing and very stressful. Will never rent again, would rather live on top of every item I own than be over extorted by a company like this during one of the scariest moments in recent history ie the pandemic, again. Glad to be rid of it.

The manager had told me he would price match my unit. However, the process required a minimum of 3 calls a month to make payment due to all of the approvals I had to go through. I got lien notices almost every month due to the managers delay. I did not enjoy my time at uhaul. Probably won't ever rent from uhaul again. I found storage rates at 66 $for a indoor 10x10. Uhaul is 180 $/month.

They accommodated my needs very well. I started in a large 10 x 15 just off the elevator on the second floor, and then downsized to a smaller unit about 15 feet away on the second floor. That was very helpful.

This is my second time using the facility and first time using the online system. The online booking was very easy to use and my unit was ready for me on my starting day. Very happy with both experiences.

First, Id like to say that the manager, Durrell, was awesome! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, each of the three times I encountered him, and he's the reason I'm choosing above average. One of those times, involved a problem. He was incredibly busy that day, but didn't let that affect his level of service. We pay attention to customer service. Good service can be so hard to find, especially when tips aren't involved. Honestly, 3 of the above questions should be made into two, because the facility can be secure, but not well lit. Staff can be helpful, but not friendly. A question pertaining to safety should be added as well. The code to access the building containing the storage unit did not work on either of the two occassions we needed to access the unit in the early evening.

For a few years, we were very satisfied with U-Haul. For the past few months, the security system has not been fully functional. We have not been able to have after-hours access and exits/entrances have not being fully monitored/tracked making us trust the security less than before. We found another facility with a jumbo storage unit equal to the size of our 2 large U-Haul units, costing 160 $less per month than U-Haul, and with fully functioning security plus after-hours access. Unfortunately, U-Haul did not cancel our units when requested. We moved out, cleaned our units, removed our locks, and cancelled our units in early Feb 2021. It took repeated attempts through mid-March to get the charges and late fees to stop being charged to us. I rated overall experience "Average" based on our early years. Most of the staff are "Average" or lower and a few are "Poor" but there is one manager who is "Above Average" and he was very helpful to us. I'm sorry I can't remember his name.

Issue was that people parked truck in a way which took up two lanes/spaces in loading/unloading area/dock. When it was reported, noone made them correct it. We had to park on side of building and move everything from further away. 1,5 hrs of very Inconvenient moving as a result.
