The rental was for a day. I was due to bring the equipment back by 7:30. I was told by the clerk that the store closed at seven and so that I could just bring it back after that time and check in online. As it turns out I did not get the equipment back until about 11 PM. When I checked in online I was charged for two days of rental. I know that I was due to bring it back by 7:30. But, based on what the clerk told me and knowing that it could not have been rented out earlier than the next business morning, I don't think that it is right or fair that I would be charged for two days of rental. I only have the equipment for that day, not two. I have used u haul a lot of times and been pleased, but I am not at all happy with this rental experience. I will seriously consider before using U-Haul again.Eliot D.
The internet was not working, so I couldn't submit pictures of the truck inside and do that survey. It was raining hard that night and the internet wasn't available to submit them and the short survey to U-Haul. Please take this into consideration with my billing. Try to make the carts mor accessible. For our most recent move there were several carts missing. Staff said they couldn't do anything about it. There was no dolly in the truck I rented. When I checked in the truck, it had a question about the dolly, but did not give the option to mark that there was not one. The truck I rented also had very loose steering and felt like the alignment was off.D. L.

I checked out and for weeks after the fact I received notices that a late fee was applied and I needed to pay, then a notice of Lien was sent. I even called to get it sorted out and never reached the main building, just customer service. They said someone would call back, but no one ever did. The storage itself was wonderful and convenient. We were given a truck that had a dead battery. Took nearly 2 hours as they tried to replace battery then ultimately gave us a smaller truck. One thing to note is that they did try to make it right. I just hope for future they know condition of trucksDENNIS B.

Complaints are with U-Haul corporate. The driver was amazing! Just stellar! But the corporate office and logistics were enough to advise anyone I know to avoid U-box at all cost.Damon G.
My issues stem not from the location, but instead with the "Truck Share 24/7" system. Which didnt work properly for me on pickup or return. In both cases I had to call customer service and W.. A.. I.. T.. till I could get someone on the phone. Oh yeah SIDENOTE: If your doing a mobile phone pickup scheduled for 5AM if it not picked up by 5:01AM it freezes/invalidates your reservation and then you have to contact Customer Service so they can change your pickup time in order for you to be able to pickup what you have reserved. Like I said in the beginning my issues are not location based.Me H.

I did the mobile process to make it quicker to pick up the rental. I still had to wait for an employee to get done with other customers to get the key. Maybe it would be better to keep the keys in a lock box where they could be accessed with a code? That would improve situations where staff is busy with other customers in the moment. THX.Andrew C.

windows and mirrors to dirty and water spotted to see out of. Air conditioning stopped working every time you accelerated, and stayed not working till you were cruising and the Engine vacuum returned. And of course your Customer Service sucks.. NOT ALL PEOPLE are happy with texting, emailing and Robot answering systems. Tried several times to get a live human and just kept getting the endless loop of robot crap.... But hey what's customer service anymore, you got our money why give service...Michael J.

The Uhaul facility on Main Street in Sunset is clean, secure, well lit, and conveniently laid out. I spent 20 years in the military, and moved several times. I was worried when I saw it was wooden boxes with covers. Sabrina, the one who delivered the containers told us the orange covers would come off and they would be transported inside a truck. That should be highlighted somewhere. It immediately eased my mind. Moving gets hectic so I missed the part that the container charge was exactly a month. We emptied them fast on the receiving end but I wasn't as worried about them getting picked up as I should have been. For a coast to coast move this is important to note because you need packing time, the time the truck drives across country and unpacking time. I did everything online so the only face to face employees were the drop off and pick up crew. It would be super helpful for them to have a hand out with important reminders. On the containers inside door it said to take pictures of the contents for insurance purposes and send them in. I never could figure out where to send them. I emailed Uhaul but no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Overhaul it was a positive experience.Karen C.
Two hours prior to my pick up time, I was called and told my truck was no longer available. This was two days after my reservation had been confirmed and already changed once. I was told there were no other trucks available and was recommended to travel fifty miles to obtain a separate truck. After traveling fifty miles to Logan, UT and waiting over an hour for the truck to arrive, I was told by the UHaul attendant in Logan that the other truck was no longer available. Shortly thereafter I received yet another phone call from Clearfield, UT telling me the same truck I had reserved was now available. After driving another fifty miles back to Clearfield and hours after my scheduled pick up time, I received the truck. My movers had to be rescheduled and the move delayed costing me significant time and money. The experience was aggravating to say the least and the run around I received was nothing shy of either dishonest or incompetent behavior. I absolutely will not use UHaul again and will gladly advocate against its use by others.Craig S.

The only thing I wasn't satisfied with was that, Olivia,, the employee that helped me set up my storage unit wouldn't help me turn in my trailer at the same location, where I stored my belongings. After reserving a truck two days prior, we showed up and the vehicle was not at the location. They offered another size truck with a 50 $credit, which was nice but we had to drive the vehicle truck back to the same location, 50 miles out of our way. Also the truck only had a quarter tank of gas so we had to get gas on the way to our destination, and then return the truck with the 1/4 tank.John A.
Upon return of my vehicle, the gas gauge was exactly where it was when I received it. The employee told me the gauge was lower than when I received it. I informed him that I took pictures of the gauge when I received it and when I turned it in. I showed these pictures to him, and he agreed that it was at the same level and I would not be charged for fuel. My receipt then showed a fuel charge for 23,75 $. I was told some one would be there to greet us, show us to our unit, and give us a discus lock. We went up ourselves, totally clueless as what to do. It wasn't too hard to get my items to the second floor or find my unit. How ever when we opened my unit, the alarms went off. We searched for an hour for an office or someone to help us. I had to call the out of state helpline. The customer service representative was unable to reach the manager of the site, and she assured me I could leave my items without a lock and nothing bad would happen. I don't prefer to rent a storage unit, but I am happy with Uhaul Storage. I like that the units are indoors, they have carts that make it easy to transfer your belongings. I had a smaller unit and I upgraded to a larger one so that I would have better access to my things. Very happy about my decision and how easy it was to upgrade.Jessalyn B. | Premières impressions

Made a online reservation for a first level 10x15x10 a week or so before check in. It was not till I went to check in that I found out that they did not have any on the first or second floor. The only one available was on the third or I had to take a 10x5x10 and 10x10x10 on the second. This was also meet with the additional cost, because the second and third floor were climate controlled. So not only did I find out that my reservation was not honored but it was going to cost more. The staff was friendly enough, but offered no real solution than the second or third floor at the higher cost. This is why I would rate poorly and would not recommend. Suprise costs and not honoring reservation are not positive signs or good customer practices. I did get a free month, but that was because of a promotion since a had a previous confirmation code from a different uhaul and it was done online.Nicholas B. | Premières impressions

My 4 years with U-haul has always been a good or exhalent experience, even through the toughest times. Like the covid-19, clearfield location has adjusted it placements of the interior so that customers can still maintain 6ft status. Employees wore masks everywhere. I even saw there mandatory routine of disinfecting vehicles and storefront. I will say to any one anywhere. If you need simple as moving supplies boxes clearfield, dollies, to hitches clearfield, propane clearfield, all the way to trailers, trucks, box trucks ranging from 10ft to 26ft clearfield. Also open to closed trailers clearfield. And now there new gigantic storage three level ready security access 24/7 facility at least I believe there largest one in utah weathered controlled to put your trusted belongings CLEARFIELD!!!! David Woosely (Manager) and his team can service you in all those needs, and if they can't which mostly likely 99 % they can, they will help you find a resolution to the problem. Not only were the facilities well-kept, the people were pleasant to work with from beginning to end. Additionally, it should be noted that the honesty/integrity of employees is greatly appreciated. I left a pair of cross country skis out during one of my visits and forgot to put them back into storage. A worker found them and they were put aside until I asked about them. I never moved in and sent a move out request on 12/23. No one ever reached out to me or confirmed that my request was fulfilled and I started getting emails acting like I was moving in. The manager didn't even check to see if my unit was actually empty. He just claimed that my move out request couldn't be processed because my lock was still on the door. My lock that is sitting in my car is somehow simultaneously on the door of the unit. The only reason I gave two stars and not one is because when I called in the employee didn't argue with me and cancelled my rental like I wanted. Happy with her. Overall, the storage experience was good. The distance to the unit was problematic to me, however, it was this facility that had available the size of storage space that I needed. The greatest disappointment was trying to communicate with the Office at the facility; it appears that the phone calls are transferred to the Regional Office when 5PM comes, even though the local office is open until 6 or 7 PM. In my experience, whenever the calls are transferred to the Regional Office, I can expect to be on hold for 15-20 minutes, and I confess that lately I have not waited the full 15-20 minutes to talk with the Regional people. This storage unit was exactly what I needed for a military move. I was able to get the first month at no charge which allowed me to offload my trailer and find a house. The facility itself is brand new and the paint still smells fresh. The storage units were clean and functional. I liked that they were well lit and accessible 24/7/365. The facility key card/entry system was nice and the alarms on each unit were reassuring. I ended up setting the alarm off once or twice on accident. The facility was clean and COOL, which is really nice when it's hot out. They have carts with wheels and carts to help move mattresses, so convenient. Dave Woolsey is always warm and friendly and extremely knowledgeable about UHaul services and products. This location is a joke, the customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I rented a truck and storage from here and the employees are unhelpful and straight up rude. If they don't feel like helping you they will make up such outrageously ridiculous lies. Even worst is the general manager, I will never rent from any Uhaul again.
