Two weeks in a row I rented first a truck , then a van. Everything went smoothly both times. Both vehicles were clean when given to me. The truck was equipped with blankets, two types of dolleys and a hand truck. The return of both vehicles was in and out. A detail receipt was emailed to me the very next morning. I've been with UHaul since 2015 and a loyal customer. Overall the experience was good. Over the past year I've tried to get a smaller storage space on the lower level but no luck. This past flooding from the storm ruined some memorable items. I am currently trying to seek reimbursement from the insurance I've being paying UHaul since I become a tenant. I would like to see a couple of changes: 1. The concrete path to my unit includes a discrepancy in height between one section and another of about 2 inches which produces quite a jolt when moving the cart over it, This could be easily smoothed. 2. Some carts have wobbly wheels which produces a lot of up and down motion with the cart. Both of these things are worrisome when fragile/breakable items are being transported even when they are well packed, especially the jolt in issue #1.CMT H. | Premières impressions

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly from the counter person to the equipment receiver. What ever the manager is doing to keep his employees so approachable and helpful keep it up KUDOS. Alert customers of looking for on the street parking prior to entering lot is the only thing I can think of that would be helpful but aside from that this place was great to do business with.Steven G.

The truck was below 1/4 fuel on the gauge and was at a different location than the guaranteed pick up location - which is why I went with a 26' truck instead of a 16' truck. I left the fuel tank at the same place (just below 1/4) and was charged 60 $at drop off. The fuel process only benefits UHaul as if it's full there's no question, but if it's below full it's either going to come out of the customers pocket if above the level or below. I'd like to hear from a UHaul rep about a refund of the 60 $charge. It's stressful renting a truck and driving across the country and this makes it more so. I asked why the truck wasn't full of fuel and they said it's not required of them.WALTER W.

The person who I dealt with could not have been more rude. He spoke absurdly fast and unclearly and refused to explain the details in a clear way when asked. Then when he walked outside, he said nothing, started a van, and then got into another van without saying anything to us as far as whether the van he started was supposed to me mine - gave us no paperwork and no mention of where to get a receipt and just walked off and left a van running next to us. I had to go back inside and ask another person to assist us. He was absolutely rude and needs anger management. So nasty.Jennifer M.

Make sure the trucks are well mentain and when customers make their reservation for a specific size chuck the reservatiom dont change when they get to the location because they are saving that truck for someone elseMICHAEL M.

Im being charged for a damage that was not there when i returned the truck and it was reported 2 days after my returned day, updated pictures and cameras on location should be revised by the management to make sure the right person is charged for the damage, 2 damages were on the truck at the time of pick up that was not on the inspection sheet or picture and were not marked with an X, i uploaded the pictures to uhaul website inspection sheet.Ubaldo F.

the lady front desk was nice but when I went to get vehicle from the parking area i asked the individual if he can get vehicle out of parking spot he got upset at me for not saying good morning to him. I apologies to him and he went to move vehicle i was watching him move vehicle then he stopped and said that he will not move vehicle from spot because i was watching him. I asked what was the problem he just said I'm an adult you should know I responded that you are an adult and you should respond correctly. I had to move vehicle without hitting another vehicle. The gentleman stayed that he was the assistant manager if he was should treat people nicer I was wrong by not saying good morning fine but I apologies but he wouldn't let it go. If I didnt have to move the stuff that day I would have cancelled my move and use another location, but I will not recommend this location or use this location again if this individual doesn't receive some costumer service training first. I needed a storage unit for 3 days. And I rented a truck for two separate days. The staff member told me if I rent truck I get the storage unit free. I told the rep my needs from the onset and she told me the unit should suffice, that people put couches in there no problem. When I went to move my things in to unit, which was up movable stairs, it didn't fit. So I then had no choice but to purchase a larger unit for 145 $instead of getting a unit for free. Nothing that the staff did, it is the policy that is the problem. I shouldn't have been limited to just a unit on the upper level, and there should have been something done to accommodate the wrong recommendation of the rep which inconvenienced me and made my experience with U-Haul worse. Security is ineffective. I was often able to enter the building without scanning my card due to one of the doors being open - the rolling lift door was often open, and the man-door next to it does not close unless it is forcefully closed. I've learned that I can't rely on my fellow customers to actually close the door, so the card check-in "disarm" is a joke. It vaguely gives the illusion of security without actually adding anything secure. The floor is cracked and uneven, and it seems that no part of the entire property (indoors or out) is level. Carts roll away, and moving the rolling staircases over the floor is a struggle - even when the lowest step is lifted, the feet get caught on the uneven floors. The rolling staircases are all faulty - they lean when you're at the top of them, half of them are too short to reach an appropriate level to move things in and out of the upper lockers, none of he safety chains are appropriately installed or useful, and every single one of them is able to roll when the step lock is engaged. The hours are inconvenient - I'm really only able to access it on my days off, and on weekends hours are even more restricted. Of course, if I want to pay more I can have more access. Uhaul loves their nickels and dimes. The main reason I moved to another facility was because Uhaul did not have the appropriate size locker available that I needed, but I will not miss fearing for my life at the top of a rocking staircase that rolls out from underneath me.Zach M. | Expérience générale
