While this location did have the appliance dolly that was needed, the 1st time, we had to waste valuable time going to this second U-Haul location because the 1st U-Haul location didn't have the dolly even though we reserved a truck w dolly online. Then two days later I called the inglewood store and I guess I was routed to call center, who said the store had appliance dolly in store (which I specifically asked) and reserved it (taking my cc info) and making it seem official, but when we arrived the store did not have appliance dolly. Just another waste of time. The store said... oh yeah, the call center can make a reservation even if we don't have it... THAT IS TERRIBLE AND SUCH A WASTE OF OUR TIME!!

Would be in this location's best interest not to treat people who are renting from U-Haul as thieves. I clearly understand that there are people out there that break rules and are not upfront. Its ok to verify the person who renting from you by checking to if that person is the same individual on their driver's license. BUT to take an unnecessary photo of the individual who is paying for goods and service when they provide you with a copy of their ID and you have video footage of them getting out of their vehicle, walking into your facility and paying for goods is uncalled for and displeasing to your customer. To add more fire to the fuel to fire your representative requested that I the (individual) needed to remove mask for a unnecessary photo in a middle of a pandemic. I see no justification for that! Dose your company put your staff and public health secondary? Because if this policy; which I definitely don't believe it is, as I have never experienced this treatment at any other U-Haul establishment before it's a unnecessary and unsafe. Your customers and staff safety should be number one and all your customers should be treated as A1 consumer and not a thief.

Service was great. Would prefer if truck had full tank of gas when picked up instead of 1/4 tank, then trying to estimate how much to refill back to that level. Otherwise was excellent experience and will use UHaul again

I needed a 15' truck you gave me a 10' and i had to leave stuff behind. I made my reservation 3 weeks in advance. I didn't even get a 24hr notice from you. I also got the wrong trailer to haul my car. I also had to go to 2 different uhauls to pick them up And when i called to complain i was offered 30 $off, of 1 500 $. What a joke. And i was supposed to get a call back from a manager and still haven't. Your customer service is terrible at best.

Rented a 4x7 trailer. Advertised as 4ft wide. Its actually alot smaller than that. Couldnt fit my atv, therefore trailer was useless. Called customer service an hr after pickup since location was closed. There was no explanation they could give me besides repeating the fact that no matter what I still had to pay. I showed up as soon as they opened the following morning to return it. The young guy who helped me was absolutely rude. Havent been helped by a more rude employee any where else in any other company in the past 20 years I think! I made it clear as soon as I arrived that I was not gonna dispute the rent charge. Just wanted to return it and be on my way to my atv trip that I was alrwady late for. I just wanted to get my point accross that the measurements advertised were not correct. He straight out shut me up and told me it was my fault and I had no common sense to measure it before taking it. That I should of asked them for a measuring tape so I could measure it. That he had no time for my whinning because he had a lot of work to do. That I was still responsible for my charges so did If I wanted a receipt or not so I could be on my way. That rude! I dont think I will be going back to Uhaul in a while. Very dissapointed.

This is my preferred location for booking a 10-foot truck, twice a month, to pick up large quantities of food from the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for distribution to my community. The staff is always very professional, friendly, and eager to assist.

Renting in the past was pretty quick. On this occasion there was only one person at the register and he was overwhelmed with customers. I wish there was a system like the car rental companies where you can just proceed to a kiosk or mobile app for checkout.

More signs showing where to drop off the vehicle. And before coming there we were NOT TOLD WHERE TO DROP OFF THE VEHICLE, until the morning that it was dropped off and we contacted the national office. We should have been informed where to drop off the truck, the day we rented and took possession of it.

I would recommend the Inglewood location but would NOT recommend the Lincoln Boulevard location. The website allowed me to rent a box truck, a size which they never carry at that location. The night before the pick up, I called to confirm my reservation and the person I spoke with confirmed and let me know everything was all set. When we arrived to pick the truck up, only then were we told our reservation had been *cancelled* and that they never carry that sized truck. Luckily, the Inglewood location had a truck available and we were able to get what we needed.

The only issue that I had was they were trying to tell me that they had ran out of adapters for the lights on a tow dolly that I reserved and that I was going to have to go buy my own. I was not to happy that you were going to make customers pay for something that should be included in the rental. The gentleman that was assisting me said that the customer in front of me took the last adapter. I asked if she had a reservation since I heard the customer talking in a conversation about that the did have what they needed and she didn't have to reserve it since they had alit of them. So I told them that she shouldn't have received the last adapter especially since she didn't reserve her dolly and I was a customer that did. They did find extra adapters so I didn't have to go purchase one myself it just took longer fir me to get the tow dolly and check out. I was there for about hour.

After arriving at your U-haul on Fir the 23 Oct 2020. I had just drove 3 day from Florida too wait 30 minutes for counter service. Only one customer service person. I had to return my Vehicle tow and empty the truck BUT the pass key would not work! and they could not get it fixed. I have to return again today and try and empty my truck. I hope the key works. I was not aloud to leave the truck on the lot. ! I had to park on the street. I hope I don't have a ticket .

Suggest that corporate update their reservation system. The Inglewood location has excellent customer service and due to misinformation from the online representatives, they were able to assist me in a state to state move without me having a heart attack from stress. Thanks to the Inglewood facility for restoring hope with compassionate professionalism.

Terrible from the start. Ubox arrived two months late, and when it arrived it came in a different ubox without my lock! All of my fragile items I had carefully packed on top were on bottom of the ubox and broken. I have been trying to reach the claims department the last 3 days without a response.

The particular truck I reserved was not available so they offered me a discount. Once the truck was returned and everything was finalized the discount was not applied. I called all day once I got my email but they never answered the phone. I had to drive 80 miles back to this location to get my price adjusted. That girl working the register is no help.

Local facility was great. The issues with U-Haul center around the ability to communicate with local facility due to centralized phone system, (that always takes forever to get a rep, even pre-COVID), and difficulty with on line presence.

You should tell customers at the moment of reservation for trucks that the appliances dolly is a 1st come 1st serve basis. I stored for almost a year and when I was ready to move my stuff I had to go rent a dolly from Home Depot. Thank you for everything.

I tried to call Ricardo Hernandez 4 times and he never called me back. I received a late fee for 20,99 and a Lien fee for 50,00 in less than 30 days. During this day and time during the Corona Virus / with an order to stay home I would think there would be some type of grace period. Not a place I wont to visit again or recommend.

7 pm is a little early top close. Some people have to travel quite a distance, making it difficult to get to your facility after work during rush hour traffic.
