The two girls at the counter in Orléans were really nice but it took me over an hour to get the paper work done and hook the trailer. The girls did their best but they were overwhelmed. I was tempted to evaluate our experience ''below average'' because every quote we had was different and the final amount we paid was not what we had on our bill. Also,, the first arrangements we had made, 5 days ahead of time, were the following: We had reserved a trailer to be picked up in Sudbury and dropped in Orléans Ontario. They told us that they would call us to confirm the reservation. They didn't so we called them on day ahead and, after 3 frustrating calls, they said they had one for us near the Georgien Bay ! If you know your geography, that was absolutely ridicules ! That's why we had to rent one round trip.

Reserved truck from out of town to pick up a stove from ottawa. Went all the way there for the owner of the franchise not be there at all. Called customer service she just transfered me back into the queue. Kept going around town till we found a truck after 3 different u haul stores later. Terrible experience. Gas wasnt even at the level the contract mentioned. It was a 3/4 full when the contract said 7/8 of gas was in the truck.

I reserved a 15 ft truck 3 days ahead of time and when I got to the store, they did not have any in stock. I was forced to get a 10 ft truck which caused me to make multiple trips and then spend double for the mileage. I checked in online which was supposed to cut my check in time in half, but I was in line waiting for 10 minutes and then dealing with the problem reservation for another 20 minutes. Brutal experience and I will not be coming back.

Vehicle had "change oil" indicator light on. Was very dirty inside and out. odometer was definitely malfunctioning, odometer continued as I sat at a red light. Odometer ready much higher km range than that travelled, I tried to discuss with the manager the discrepancy, but had to wait too long, to make it worth my while, I was in the process of moving, and had many people waiting on my direction, therefore could not wait any longer Paid too much for a $19.99 rental - ended up costing close to $90, very deceitful marketing!

2 customers ahead of us when arrived at 0700. It took 50 minutes and I had done the Express Online Check-In the day before. This is not Express! It ruined our plans for an early start. The worker was very helpful to help attach the trailer.

Charge for a block of time, not for within business hours. $19.95/day means 24 hours in my opinion so charging an extra $20 for dropping off after 7 is ridiculous! We should’ve been given the option to drop off the next morning for the same price. And charging FIFTY dollars extra if you want to pay cash?????

Horrible experience picking up equipment. Waited 90 minutes to process 5 customers. We had prebooked all information online and still waited 90 minutes while staff had no training and system crashed on them multiple times. They all did their best but there was absolutely no management to help and the process they go through with each customer is far to long, not to mention ridiculous.

Arrived to do my mobile check in, but the app wasn't working so I was forced to go inside and wait in line. I was in line for an hour and a half. Saturday morning and only 2 people working. The line up was out the door. I was very disappointed with the wait time and doubnt if I will rent from Uhaul again. Had an equally bad experience at the other Innes location last time, so thought we'd try another location. I will try another company next time.

Beside that my truck safety was absent (thank god it was not a long distance trip), the computer or rental software kept freezing about a dozen times or/and the customer's entry terminal...management need to look closer st QA at that location...other customers I talked to were disappointed too

More staff. Took me an hour in the line-up to just pick-up the trailer. After that everything was quite smooth. And your staff were fantastic, working their butts off. But phones were ringing and they had to leave the desk to take each customer out to their rental. There should be other staff there to do this. Need to understand your surge times and have appropriate staffing levels to ensure smoother pick-up. Drop-off was easy enough, minus the fact that the empty vehicles weren’t removed from the return line so it was getting pushed to the road. Again, might’ve been a staffing issue. Great facility otherwise, I just think you need a manager on site. Someone who can deal with phones. Staff for pick-up and staff for taking customers to rentals. And probably separate staff for storage units.

Staff was very friendly, but it took over 1 hour to get a truck I had reserved, the staff was trying their best but seemed to be unable to due to poor software and processes.

The pick up was scheduled at 9 AM. Got the truck at 11:30. I was in line for about 1 : 30 hours. Once I got the truck, the truck didn’t start. It took about another hour to get a new truck. Got the truck with not even 1/4 of a tank. Ridiculous !

Understaffed waited over 30 mins to return the vehicle even the girl who did the return served a customer who came in after me first. Then when trying to use the handle held return device she said it was a coworkers login info and she had to guess it. Not very professional. I will not be renting from here again. Not to mention they force you to take the $15 insurance on the vehicle. It doesn’t tell you that on the website. It’s a classic bait and switch scam. Easy money for the company.

The location itself was fine, and I found the installer to be quite professional though he did forget to include the trailer ball. I found that the website was very misleading . When I place the order I asked for a date that was shown available for this location only to be told when I arrived that it could not be met as the equipment had to be ordered and that would take at least 10 business days! This after waiting over 45 minutes before someone even talked with us. There was no follow up call to indicate that the equipment had arrived for our install to ensure we weren't wasting our time. We were travelling from Stittsville so the first trip was not only a waste of time but also a waste of gas. Lots of areas to improve, especially communications. Perhaps a service manager is needed allowing the techs to focus on their jobs instead of trying to do everything themselves

Proximity of this location is a plus. I did not have any issues with the vehicle I rented. Just felt the time spent to drive off with the vehicle and then dropping off the vehicle before I could leave could be shortened. I felt my rental case was a simple one that could have been handled much quicker.

You need to do something about your "$19.95" rate. If you are renting a pick-up or cargo van (9 foot), these have mandatory $15 insurance on top. So, even though the van says it rents for $19.95, the reality is that it is not available for less than $34.95. Yes, you can go up to a 10 foot box and waive the insurance (if such a van is available), but the advertising for cargo vans is misleading, at best. Just advertise the actual price, along the lines of "$34.95 per day plus gas and mileage". Simple. Still, overall the rate was good, the service was excellent, even being short-staffed at the location, and availability was great.
