Reserving by phone is too cumbersome and not accurate. I initially reserved a trailer and needed to provide email, phone #, address, credit card etc. and shortly thereafter received a call indicating the trailer I reserved was not available in that location. A few days later, I reserved again, going through all the same information. When I picked up the trailer I had to go through alot of the same information again, along with the process of photoing and uploading the picture of the license (which the staff member had great difficulty doing). Between the time on the phone and at the desk, I probably spent 45 minutes dealing with the process. When I picked up the trailer, there was only one staff member working and I waited 45 minutes while she processed other customers. Frustrating for a "simple" rental of a trailer for a day that cost $25.

Amanda nd all of her staff, were super helpful! Everyone went above and beyond to help me with my move. Be. Areful about making reservations solely using the online system however. Check in on the phone with the Keene center specifically. Their online broker isn’t always correct in terms of available facilities or available equipment.

Your registration for the rental system is awkward. Was unable to enter my vehicles ID I couldn’t even get in what my vehicle was a recreational vehicle put you into a Bolivian when I called the 800 number she had trouble we ended up just putting in a fictitious truck. It did take my license plate. The trip went excellent considering it was a over 20-year-old trailer.

I was doing a local move in Brattleboro Vt to Hinsdale NH of which both towns have smaller UHaul locations. Neither had the trailer I needed so I had to travel about a half hour to get it which was acceptable, what I found concerning was that my rate would have almost tripled if I utilized one of these stores to drop off instead of the long ride back to Keene NH to drop it off. It was an inconvenience

UHAUL shouldn't put the dolly and couisins in the back it takes up space that I needed! If you break the zip ties you have to pay for it. SLOW service, twice going to this location myself and other customers had to wait 15 min or more before a person was in store.

I originally booked a truck to be picked up in Guildford, VT and planned on using the 24/7 truck share. The location was closed when I arrived, as they close at noon on Saturday. I called customer service and they told me that it shouldn't be a problem because I was using the app (so I ended up not being able to get a truck at the original location, added additional miles to my rental and made me an hour and a half later picking up a truck than planned). This was by far the most inconvenient and troublesome experience I've ever had with uhaul. Based on this experience, I would generally give a very poor rating, but I wouldn't want it to reflect against the store in Keene, as they were very helpful.

When I arrived there was one person working and a long line. Had to wait over 30 minutes to be helped. When i returned the truck, the young man told me to get behind the wheel and do what he said, had me run through all of the lights and do the safety inspection with him. A, you dont tell me what to do. B) I am not a mechanic at your shop. Dont enlist me to service your vehicle so that you can operate at a bare bones staffing level. Overall uhaul service is terrible, recently saw the same scenario play out in Chicopee Ma, which tells me that it is likely corporate policy and or culture that places you and your staff above your clients? Be more accessible on the phone, it was difficult to get through at times, and was patched through to the national office. Also, I was not informed that a part was not available, my appointment was rescheduled for a date and time I had said I was NOT available, had to reschedule again, and contacting the local office was difficult again.

This comment pertains to Uhaul’s overall experience: I found the communication regarding my rental contract to be confusing and incomplete. Nowhere in my email or on my U-Haul account was it possible to find a full record of my contract including pickup and drop off information as well as terms of the agreement (mileage allowances and cost for going over, gas fill-up requirements and cost for going under, etc.).

The general manager at this location was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I set up my reservation so I could check in on my mobile device, but I was having trouble figuring it out. I asked the woman working (the general manager) for assistance, and she argued with me and threatened not to let me rent a vehicle because I didn’t have a third alternate contact. I was trying to figure it out and work with her but she was very unwilling to try to help me and make things work. Next time I need a vehicle to move I will be going somewhere that actually wants me as a customer.

U HAUL LOST MY RESERVATIION FOR MY STORAGE UNIT CAUSING ME GREAT FINANCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DISTRESS. I HAD TO SCURRY AROUND TO FIND ANOTHER UNIT AND THERE WAS NONE AVAILABLE. QUITE HONESTLY I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR THE TRUCK RENTAL BECAUSE IT WAS THERE ERROR!! I ENDED UP HAVING TO RENT THREE SMALL STORAGE UNITS 14 MILES DOWN THE ROAD. Several issues. Guys at front counter are curt and not helpful. Ask a question and you are referred to website. No one told us to undo tow feature with each start so truck performed poorly and was extremely noisy for a 250 mile round trip. Tried to rent climate controlled storage unit and they set us up with and outside unit and Left us scrambling to find another. Poor experience overall

Only complaint was I was on time to pick up the truck but the only person that could help me get checked in took a phone call and was not able to get off the phone. He probably could have told the person he would call them back. Unfortunately I had to wait almost 15 minutes while he was on the phone and it made me late for my appointment.

Very thorough on safety, pick up, operation and returning. The trailer I rented was in excellent shape and all lights worked. (I do suggest that not everyone has or uses a cell phone for check in or out.)

Nothing needs to be improved to the drop off location in Keene NH . We were allowed to drop the truck off a day after the due date because of of a snowstorm. NO charge. And we forgot the dolly we rented in CT and they said just bring it back next time.We will use Uhaul again and recommend them.

Was very rude when I asked about money back from deposit. Did not want to listen to me and insisted it was my banks fault, when in fact its uhaul fault as its been 24hrs and they still have yet to finish processing my transaction so that my bank can release the funds. Spoke with customer service. Not only did they not allow me to speak, but they hung up on my several times. Will no longer use your services and will not recommend your company to others. I have never been treated so poorly.

It would be nice if the trucks always were rented with a full tank of gas. Makes it so much easier to know how much to put in before returning. This time we had full tank and was great. Last time we overestimated and paid more for gas than we needed to because we got a truck with half a tank to start. Othrwise, very happy with our rental. Truck was clean and worked great for us.
