U-Haul container rented I specifically asked for it to be stored at the Charles Street location in kitchen no it is now in Guelph on speed Ville Avenue which is of no fucking used to me I need it here in Kitchener which is where I agreed for it to be stored there are many items I need to take out of the fucking unit but I can't because the fucking unit is in Guelph where I did not want it to be please fucking respond so I can access my fucking unitEdward T.

I reserved a 5X8 trailer in Waterloo and when I picked it up it wasn't road worthy! I was sent to the Kitchener location to pick up another trailer. both locations had VERY poorly trained staff and couldn't answer questions about the insurance they wanted me to purchase. Spend some time and money and get your staff better trained!tode W.

1) Hire even more staff to deal with Sept. 1st move: long wait in crowded area; 2) My 20' truck steering wheel was very loose: transmission needs rto be fixed; 3) Truck was smelly (wet dog/old plastic?) 4) Return parking space ridiculously inadequate (inexistent) past opening hours: had to leave the truck in the middle of the entry lane! 5) Return area/front of the office poorly lit at night: unsafe and spooky: couldn't see nor take adequate pictures of the inside of the truck and was unsettled being a single woman there at night in a deserted industrial area. 6) No parking lot for personal vehicles left overnight in case of 24h rentals: had to leave my car overnight in an unsupervised public parking lot. 7) The final amount I paid was much higher than anticipated due to a very unclear pricing process : I feel taken advantage of and will do my utmost to avoid Uhaul services in the future.Valrie B.

Employees' behavior to the customer need improvement. This was the first time I used U-Haul and I didn't use the website to book. Instead, I used phone service, and that lead to the selection of the wrong sized truck. I couldn't make a proper assumption about the size and timing that I needed. When I told my concern to the employees at the time of pickup, I got no advice. The behavior was good when I returned the truck.athul G.
I chose online pick up. I did it 6-7 times before, but this time system was concerned about my identity and asked for 2 additional contacts to call or passport information. I provided contacts, and contacts were awaiting a call. Uhaul agent said he wasn't able to contact my any of them. Then agent stopped responding, so I have give up mobile pick up and switch to in-store pick. There reluctant personnel wasn't professional. I wouldn't recommend this location to anybody else.Roman K.

The uhaul share did not work properly. Several customers were deopping off equipment after hours and struggling. Example: i signed into my account and the truck did not show up so I could not return it Example: my partner tired to do it and it sent him to the instructions for it. Example: i finally got it to work but seberal other people at that location werrw struggking and it was not there fault. The website wS not working properly.Stephanie W.

I waited outside with the trailer behind my vehicle for approximately 10 minutes. The sign stated to wait in the drop off area and no one came to assist. I then went inside and there was no one at the desk. I could see two employees in the lunchroom and one came out. I was asked to back the trailer into the spot and when the staff member was removing the trailer with a device to move it, he almost slammed the tongue of the trailer into my SUV bumper. It's a very expensive SUV and he could've caused a lot of damage. I felt like he was being careless and wasn't at all cautious.Jason D.

I specifically requested that my truck be reserved to be picked up at fairway location and instead without notification my pickup location was changed. When I called the scheduling department they told me that they had no guarantee for my location which defeats the purpose of a reservation and they said that I should have received extra kilometers to compensate the added distance but when we checked I didn't even have that and so I had to request that add those kilometers. When I went to pick up my truck I noticed there was no dolly so I went into the front office and requested the dolly and again I hear the same story there's no guarantee it's first come first serve even though I made a reservation once again U-Haul has no idea of what the definition of a reservation is I rented a 26 ft truck for a reason because I had a lot of stuff to load and I had no dolly and I have a bad back and this made my move a nightmare when I told the representative at U-Haul to compensate me with the $50 guarantee refund he said I can't do nothing and he gave me a customer service number I called and waited on hold forever only to be hung up on once the line went through.SALMAN A.

I have no complaints about the rental everything was great. Truck well maintained and ran very good. However, I was treated rudely by one young man who was working there. I was parking the truck when the man came walking towards me flailing his arms into the air. He said in a rude tone "park it over there" I told him that I didn't know where to park. Again he said rudely "Read the sign". I feel as a customer , after such a good experience with my Rental , to have to return the truck and deal with this totally ruined my experience. I spoke to the lady at the counter and told her about his rudeness, she said that she would tell him. When I was leaving in my personal vehicle he came out towards me looking and grinning . I ended up renting a 10' truck for about 10 hours, the reservation said that my truck would be $50, and then when I go to pick up the uhaul it's now $260. After I've dropped it off at uhaul and put almost $90 worth of gas into the vehicle the uhaul was then $320. Basically the truck ended up being $400 compared to the $50 that was advertised to me on their website, and I was only notified of the price changes as they were being charged to my card. I definitely wouldn't recommend uhaul as it feels like a scam especially when they advertise the 10' truck on the street for $20. Uhaul definitely needs to rectify this issue as it is misleading to customers.Isaac W.

Booked a furniture dolley with the rental truck. On picking up the truck was told that there was no dolley available. There were however 4 dolleys by the counter that were for sale. Surely if there are none available that means there is a shortage of dolleys and they should buy one themselves to supply to the customer. On returning the vehicle I put in fuel prior to the return, based on the 30km that I had done and assuming a poor 15 miles/gallon, but the fuel gauge never moved up. So on returning I was charged for extra fuel despite showing the fuel receipt. I was told I would have to put in a further 7 litres and would be charged for the extra km to do it. Since there was no guarantee that the fuel gauge would move on the second refuel it seemed safer to pay the fuel charge. The return agent was sympathetic but explained there was nothing he could do as it was policy. Very disappointed that despite having a receipt for the fuel and knowing the mileage there was no leeway.Douglas M.

Truck was not the truck share 24/7 that I had asked for, wanted 2 hours on the phone with customer service then got hung up on and had to wait another hour on hold to get told I had to go in the following dayâ€¦. We couldn't figure out how to open the garage door to drive in to the bay to unload the car. There's supposed to be a drive-in bay for loading and unloading but the entrance is off a busy street with no parking and the driveway is so tiny the car doesn't fit. There's no keypad to open it. The keypad only opens the walk-in door nearby. I got inside and found my unit and lock no problem, but how can they not have a way to drive in after office hours? We have heavy things and they have no parking for cars. And there's no phone number to reach the office and ask them. You get the general customer service office.
