I would explicitly state that there is no parking at this location. I got lucky and rented on a sunday when there was free parking (relatively) close by, but that could impact a renter given i didnt find out until after getting the keys for the rental.Sean D.

my review is based on the fact that I had to even drive to kitchener to pick up the truck. My rental in Cambridge wasnt available when I arrived, and my only option was to drive to kitchener to get the truck. The $50 credit for it not being available didnt come close to covering the 100 additional km's I had to drive, or the 3hr delay. The truck we did get in Kitchener had less than 1/8th tank of gas, and more than a 20 minute wait to get checked in, causing even more delays. I am beyond disappointed in Uhaul. I chose you for the reputable name, was I ever wrong.TYLER S.

Online reservation moved pickup location to 100+ kilometres away and we were not pleased I took over for my father and booked a van that reasonably would not accommodate my moving needs. Once my father and I got to the pick up location we took a shot and asked if we could upgrade to a 10' truck and the employee said absolutely. We joked around while he got all of the paperwork done. He made our moods in the morning much better. At the end of the day my father was dropping it off and actually got credited a few dollars and all went well. Hi Team, my pickup truck has a faulty fuel gauge. I tried fuelling at 2 stations. The first kept indicating that the tank was full with 2 consecutive pump kick-backs. At The second station, I added over 16 litres and the dial didn't move till when a second over 16 litres was added and tank displayed full (over agreed fuel level)Felix M.

So much wrong! First waited 15 min in the lobby and not a single employee in sight to order. Then the person messed up my order time. Was charged an extra fee of something that I originally declined twice before removing the rental off their property.Iesha T.
You did not have the appropriate wiring harness for my vehicle and were not able to install it properly. I am extremely disappointed when the installer said he can run the wires on the outside of the vehicle, (not in the trunk) and then coil the wires on the hitch..... in the winters we have here that would never last. After he attempted to sell me on that idea, and I said no way, he only then said he can order in the correct wiring harness. then told me to take the harness he had (the incorrect one) to my mechanic to install it because he was not able to run it via the trunk. Then when I went to leave, I inspected the job and noticed minor scratches that were not there before Aswell as a strap wrapped around my exhaust that if I had not noticed could have coted thousands in damage to my vehicle. I was unable to remove the strap from my vehicle and pointed it out to u haul and I had to wait until he was done his vehicle before he would help me. it was over 4,5h before my vehicle was ready to be picked up without the job even being able to be completed. but wait it gets better I go to leave and the hitch and pin that I paid for was nowhere to be found so I had to also ask for that and had to wait for him to put it together.Timothy S.

I am upset about my experience today. I checked the gas and I checked around the body but forgot to write down the mileage. I know my distances because I have to record it daily for business. My business is 1,5 km away from Uhaul. And my home is 3 km from there. But they claimed I went 51 km. It's ridiculous . But how do I prove it. I feel taken advantage of.Alton W.

The parking lot is a bit small if it's busy. Vehicle access to the secure part of the building can be tricky if the road has more than a bit of traffic. Narrow hallways can be a challenge to navigate with larger items. I'd probably look for a different place next time. I found the staff super friendly and helpful.David S. | Expérience générale

I wish you guys had smarter staffs at the front desk. I reached late evening, almost 6 mins to 7 pm, to place a reservation. But the guy and the lady in the front desk told me that they dont see a 10 footer available at their location. But when i went to another location the front desk booked a 10 footer for me for the same pick up location for Saturday the 29th. Not sure what was the goof up there!! Also i think if the front desk could probe more they could do a lot of up selling rather than we asking and getting information..MANAV R.
The trailer worked great to haul a Goldwing and the price was very reasonable. It would have been more convenient if I could have returned the trailer to my local U-Haul but the closest trailer available was 40 min away and it had to go back to that store when I was done. Call centre staff gave me the wrong info about the cost of extending my rental for 8 hours. Instead of being charged for kms and $2,4 for time as promised on the phone, my final bill was an extra $109 plus tax over expected just for time.Jordan R.

On October 18th, 2022 I returned the DC 15" Truck plate AD66626 before 12PM. I know it because at 11:59 AM I took a picture of a vehicle parked beside my car on the parking lot at that time. However, my receipt shows that I returned the vehicle at 2:06 AM! and I was charged for twice the mileage that I actually drove during the two hours that I had the vehicle. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of the Odometer as I trusted UHAUL employees to be honest. I report this FYI, tor when you do your audits. The customer service rep was so kind, he went above and beyond to give us a customer appreciation safe driving refund. I booked 3 min away from the place i was moving from. It showed as "available" when i booked it. Uhaul changed my location pick up to a place that was over 14 min away and then charged me for km usage and was close to downtown and super busy! This is not acceptable.Chris H.

I had a bad experience with renting the truck for my move. I made an online reservation to pick up the truck at 5am and return it at 8pm. I went to the store the day before to confirm and they said the truck had to be returned at 5pm because it had been rented to another customer even though it was previously reserved for me until 8pm. when I went to pick up the truck at 5am, the app had an error and couldn't receive the pin. I called customer service and problem was not resolved until 6 am. When I managed to access the truck, Dolly and the blanket I had reserved were not in the truck either.Marcos F.

We couldn't figure out how to open the garage door to drive in to the bay to unload the car. There's supposed to be a drive-in bay for loading and unloading but the entrance is off a busy street with no parking and the driveway is so tiny the car doesn't fit. There's no keypad to open it. The keypad only opens the walk-in door nearby. I got inside and found my unit and lock no problem, but how can they not have a way to drive in after office hours? We have heavy things and they have no parking for cars. And there's no phone number to reach the office and ask them. You get the general customer service office.
