Checkout took WAY too long, even after I did early check-in and downloaded license. Also, only ONE person was working. I was at the store almost 1hour because of two people ahead of me . Did I say there was only ONE person working???

They charge nondisclosed fees. They refuse to tell what fees are for. They charge an extra $98 on top of the agreed upon rental charge. Customer service is very poor. Its impossible to talk to a manager to resolve any issues. Location on 121 by quick trip are scandalous theives. They only want your card info so they can rack up the bill with unauthorized charges.

When I arrived at the location, the app kicked me out so I had to go inside and wait for someone to help me. The lady was very nice and unlocked the truck for me just to find that the dolly was not put back in place. So I had to wait more for her to go get a zip tie to lock it up as it was not needed. This was my 1st sign that the truck was not properly checked back in. The gas gauge was not at the correct gas level as indicated on the contract. When I returned the truck. I told the employee it wasn't correct. He asked if I had taken a picture implying I was not telling truth. I went 16 miles and the truck was at a 1/4 of a tank when I returned it (after putting gas in it). It doesn't take a genius (or does it) to figure out I wouldn't have used that much gas if it was at a 1/2 tank when I picked it up. The employee told me to go get gas or I would be charge extra to fill it to 1/2 a tank. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told she was unable to talk to me at that moment. This location is very much understaffed as I had to go look for employees when I picked it up and when I returned it.

Well, first and foremost . You had some old short haired fat old lady that we as a nation calls “Karen” at the desk. She's so concerned with masks she's literally utterly RUDE . She's so fucking rude that when the other employee steps in to assisted , mitigating the issue thus resolving it, the old short haired cat lady grumbling billshit rollednout. I came back and picked up my Reservation at 1 PM after the other lady helped. At this time I dealt with a manager and she informs me the grumpy ole short haired old lady is corporate. Lol. I own a business. I wouldn't let this old grumpy turd clean my shops bathrooms. And she's haggard and not good to deal with customers. She may be the best old short haired frump to be whatever. She never needs to see another retail customer. You've got a great management and operating staff there. Keep it up. I charge my propane tanks there often. If some one doesn't coach ole frumpy short haired grumpy when she's in a retail spot..... actually. I wouldn't coach her. I'd fire her. She's old and non employable. She's a risk factor even at this point. But she's old and grumpy. And unless she's produces 10x her salary, she's a liability. I'd fire her. But what do I know. I own a small business down the street. Thank your staff there for their help.

The website to return equipment is very hard to use! I've had trouble with this in the past. It never finds my location and the button to return the equipment is never “clickable” I always have to park the truck and then just drop the key in the drop box. The website never works for me.

This was not my original pick up location. I coul not get the trailer I needed in Sanger TX so I had to pick up at Aubry TX. When I arrived to pick up the trailer lights did not work and they did not have another trailer. I had to then drive almost an hour away to Leweisville to get this trailer. No discount given for causing me over 2 1/2 hours out of my way and putting me almost 4 hours delay to start loading and getting on the road. Instead of arriving at my location at a disent hour I arrived just past midnight. Not a happy customer.

There was some confusion when a CSR offered me a storage unit at buy one month, get two free. I had a one way rental which gave me a free month storage rent. I asked the manager to call the CSR which confirmed the same language. The manager said that is was the CSR's poor language usage, and was wrong, but she did not offer me the buy one get two free as promised. I guess the verbal contract is not offered at this location, and their word is not their bond. Its hard to get anyone to honor their word now days. Really sad when a manager will not honor her CSRs promise either! Very disappointed with the entire transaction. Make sure you have them show you in writing on everything. They do not honor anything verbal. If they were to honor an additional month free, I'd be willing to write about it in a positive way...that the manager recognized her employees mistake and honored it. Good Business!! We'll see how far this review goes. For now its a 1.5 star review.

Had a problem with the key not turning in the ignition. Called the Uhaul help phone number waited 30 minutes to speak to someone and was disconnected. Not what I expected considering the helpfulness of the in-person at locations. I recommend better assistance once leaving the location.

Overall a pretty good experience. Got a truck and car hauler with no issues, however the storage unit was a different story. Seems very difficult for the countermen to navigate or understand “the system”. Had made the storage unit reservation a couple days prior (with the manager) to move in to a 12x30 unit. Also had a second reservation for a 12x20, which I had made myself online. Ended up with a single 10x20 as they couldn’t find any available at the time of rental. Very nice crew, just seems the storage part of the system is difficult or different somehow.

I wanted a trailer and saw it in the parking lots of 2 different locations. Personnel inside said none were available as it was the most busy weekend of the year. a truck was recommended. I took it. I have rented trucks and trailers before, all had a ramp, this truck had no ramp. IT was the most heavy and frustrating day of the year. Thanks to Uhaul. I would not recommend it and will only return if competitors did not have what was needed. NO RAMP on vehicle, 0 stars.

I ordered the truck and paid online. The process is a bit confusing, especially the part about needing a selfie (I had to get a phone call from you guys to fix that). There also appeared to be confusion on your part about payment. Fortunately, we got that resolved when I brought the truck back. All in all, however, the experience was fine overall. I got the job done and it worked out.

For some reason the employee who helped me at the pick up location told me that U-Haul would refund the money I spent on gas if I showed the drop off location the receipts from the gas station. I had never heard that before and asked him if that was really true. He assured me all I had to do was keep my receipts and show the drop off location and I'd be refunded. It was too good to be true. The drop off employee had no idea what I was talking about and said U-Haul doesn't do that. Kind of got my hopes up. Wish he wouldn't have told me that. Otherwise, it was a fine experience.

The on-going problem with the gate did not make it feel especially secure. In the 3 months we rented, we saw them working on the gate several times, and that was the times we saw.
