The moving blankets I ordered with my reservation were not given to me with the truck. I was told they â€œran outâ€. This is unacceptable and a terrible way to keep in the business. A phone call prior to pick up to inform me of the changes would have been nice. David at the counter was not helpful at all. Should probably consider replacing David with a competent employee.Earl S.

Took over 3 hours because they were chatting in the garage. My hatch is totally dented as well but we had such a nightmare of a time we decided to call it a loss. We will be going with other competitors at a premium to avoid uhaul service in the future.Cole R.
U-Haul rep was not at his U-Haul 'office' and was working at a restaurant below his office. We found him only when my wife asked if he knew who ran the U-Haul. In spite of initially 'missing in action' he was quite helpful. The bigger issue was that he told U-Haul dispatch two days before my pickup that he did not have the trailer I needed.He advised dispatch to send me to a larger U-Haul location about 2 miles away as they had a trailer. This information was never relayed to me by dispatch despite a confirmation call regarding trailer pickup and another call I made to request pickup a day earlier than planned. Fortunately I made it to the new U-Haul location and everything worked out. However this is not the kind of hassle one needs when moving my daughter from Colorado to Arizona when I had just driven from Michigan to tow the trailer.John F.

The check-in process was a joke. I was told to just leave the truck. Then, afterwards, I got double-charged and it's taken many phone calls to try and straighten out. Use another location.Matt L.
This location has a broken phone system that made it very difficult to communicate with. It would ring and disconnect meaning I would have to repeat call just to get someone to pick up. They eventually called my secondary contact and told them I wasn't responding l, even though I returned their calls. They only called me once and had no capability of leaving a voicemail at the location. It was really frustrating.Gabriel B.

More clarity on what is required when picking up/ dropping off. We had to drive back home to grab a phone so we could 'verify' the account. Also we never received our moving pads which was paid for so that is slightly annoying. The location and van was perfect. U-haul as a company kind of blows.Logan C.

Vehicle wasn't ready at requested 10:00 appt; had to come back at 3; minor inconvenience; gas gauge was lower than shown on contract so ended up spending more on gas, but check-in clerk made up for it with excellent customer service when I turned in the truck; All in all, it was a favorable experience and I would use this service again.Gina H.

I was absolutely shocked at the employees behavior and professionalism. First off when I got there to pick up the trailer I had to go into the back room to find an employee. When the employee came up to the counter he was listening to music on his phone throughout the check in process, When a song came on he didn't like he said "what the fuck is this shit" and changed the song. When I met him outside to hook up the trailer, my hitch was about one inch higher than the trailer would stand. We needed to use 2x4 blocks of wood to get the trailer high enough. I tried to help the employee place the wood properly but he didn't want my help so the trailer kept falling off the blocks. The 3rd time the trailer fell the employee lost his mind, started kicking the trailer, yelling, and throwing wheel chocks at the fence and other trailers. Then yelled at me to come get him when I figured it out. No more than 2 minutes later I had the trailer on the hitch and ready to go. His attitude and behavior was completely unacceptable. I tried to help him learn and he didn't want to even acknowledge anything I said. I shouldn't have had to hook up the trailer because your employee couldn't. I shouldn't know more than your employee, especially when this is all he does all day. The numerous other times I've used Uhaul my experiences have been pleasant. Get control of your employee... I highly encourage you to look at the camera footage. You'll get a good laugh for sure!Ben B.

They aren't letting me get a truck because they're telling me I had the truck for an additional day when I most definitely did not. I dropped it off at their location and left the keys in the truck since they didn't tell me where to drop off the key, right out front of the damn store and they are trying to say I kept the truck over night. We had a HORRIBLE time at U-Haul RDmill abatement. They left us waiting for 40 mins, and weren't going to send anyone for another 30 mins. The lady at 830 Wadsworth was phenomenal. She apologised for the failure of the other store and got us in the van within one minute of arriving! She honoured the 50 $money back guarantee, even though it was not the fault of her store. When the customer asks for there money back get back to them, uhaul is a joke and, installing hitches and wiring is a joke, they hire people who dont know what there doing, screwing holes in my car, cutting wires that are not supposed to be. I have been dealing with them since January for my messed up wires and still no response from the manager of the store. In sick if this place.Andrew J.
U Haul has become so unreliable, it's incredible. I was scheduled to pick up my truck on Saturday 7/24/21 at 9:00. When we showed up, there were at least 5 other people waiting outside in the parking lot. The store is supposed to open at 7:00 AM, but it was closed. Come to find out, no one showed up to work that day; some poor guy from another store got called in to help out. Thankful for him or my day of moving would've been totally ruined bc this company has apparently decided it doesn't care about their paying customers.Thomas H.
I reserved a 26' online two weeks before my move date. The original store did not have one and sent me to this location. I was informed, when I arrived that they did not have any either. We had to take a 20' which prolonged our move because we had to make two trips and extended my hired help by an hour, which was more money out of pocket.Christian S.

The pickup truck was empty of gas, was told I would be reimbursed for filling it..when I returned the truck was told I would only be reimbursed for 1/4 tank. The front passenger had something spilled all over it and the inside of the windshield was FILTHY. One of the fuses for the lights from the trailer hitch was blown and the lights on the trailer would not work because of it.Patrick M.

Fuel tank did not read what the amount that was told. Counter staff were very polite and thorough. Upload photo was not an option in my phone at time departure. The check in only took place after ri sat with the vehicle for 6 minutes and then when I got out to walk in, somebody appeared. Still have not received a receipt with update mileage charge. Online request worked great. Good thing because calling was a waste of 15 minutes waiting to be served.Michelle B.

It wasn't the location that was an issue, it was the customer service I received through the main denver office. Worst customer service of my life and will never use uhaul again. It was difficult to contact the location by phone. It converted to the 1-800 number and then the automated response said it was a 56 minute wait to speak with someone. When I booked online the rate was supposed to be about 40 $and I ended up getting charged 65 $. I had the truck about 2 hours and drove a total of maybe 20-25 miles. So, 65 $seems like a lot but I don't want to wait on hold for 56 minutes to try to get a 25 $refund.SANDRA O.

I was really frustrated first I couldn't find an attendant, then the vehicle that I requested online was not available and I got a van that wasn't clean and didn't even it had like a fourth of a tank of gas , there was a sign on front dash said problem with air bag.had to remind the tenant the person that I had a dolly, in returning I had santize van wipe down cleaned out and and swept the van. I returned early there was a crowd I waited patiently for the attendant for me as to him about the airbag asked him about it and waited for him to check the vehicle that took more than a half hour to 45 minutes he comes back and I asked him for a receipt and he looks at me like he doesn't have time to get me a receipt and I said I know you're really busy could you email it to me he never emailed me the receipt he gave me an estimate of 62 $but I still do not have the receipt I don't think I'll be returning to that U-Haul I'll go to the one on Jewell because you because at Jewel at least I get what I asked for there's gas in the vehicle it's ready and I get my receipt to thisI have not gotten a receiptRonda T.
