I was told I cannot rent a truck or a friend of mine rented one we were moving some of the stuff I did not and was not ever told that the truck was rented in my name they handed the other guy the keys after he finished doing the contract and etc. Also made several calls manager has not reached out to me nor anyone from U-Haul

Your customer service sucks!! I reserved a trailer on Thursday evening (05/19/22). The online reservation was confirmed by Uhaul. On Friday morning (05/21/22) as I was leaving to pick up the trailer I received a call from Uhaul stating that the trailer was not available at that location and that I'd have to pick it up at a different location. I went to the new location and they said they have no trailer for me. Really, I made an online reservation on Thursday which was confirmed by Uhaul and on Friday you don't have a trailer for me? Very poor planning on Uhaul part.

The truck I had handled so well I was amazed on its handling as previous trucks seem like they were dying. Customer service was very helpful with my needs. This is coming from a customer who drives 40 foot buses for a living. Please sell the old and bring the new.

Communication. A lot of the people I talked to had no idea what was going on. I got several calls about the same thing, and they delivered my uboxes to the wrong location. Someone at the Vancouver store I talked to was amazing and fixed everything, but the corporate logistics seemed to be completely flawed. I would not reccomend this service to someone else.

Frequently, I was being misled with the times in which delivery and even calls were supposed to happen. At the start, I was told I'd get a call on March 31 to schedule the delivery on April 1, but it wasn't until about 3:40 PM, near the end of the day, that I even got a call, wondering if they forgot about it, throwing a wrench into my plans for that day. On April 1, I got the call in the morning for the drop off time scheduling. It seemed I had little control over the time. The drop off went beautifully! When ready for the first pickup, I got the call, late in the afternoon again on the day before, to confirm, but I needed an extra day because I wanted it to be picked up on the 6th instead of the 5th but they initially wouldn't let me to do that. On that call, they let me have the extra day and that was nice. They called again the next day late in the afternoon to confirm pickup and all was good. I had to call to place the order as your Website is dysfunctional. (I do not agree to Google's terms of use so I have them blocked at the OS level which prevents me from registering an account due to the legal barrier on that front making me have to deal with the inconvenience of calling - use an alternative to ReCaptcha (which is run by Google, hence the legal restriction) such as texting me a code on my phone or calling me with an automated prompt that gives an access code or something similar. I could only look at it the order info, and details were quite lacking.) I was told April 30 is when the Ubox would be dropped off. They didn't drop it off until May 2, 2 days late, but I was unavailable that day (I was available April 30 and May 1), so I had to delay it a day. The drop off went smoothly as before and I opened the box to verify all was good, and it was. After unloading it, everything was pretty much in its original condition. Very little shifting happened (some shifting is expected). Then they called the day before the pickup for confirming pickup and the usual pickup happened as normal. For the price, moving from Florida to Oregon, almost about the longest distance possible, I was surprised how cheap it was. The shipping itself was $1408. With the truck delivery on both ends of the move, it made the total close to $2000, before taxes. I was expecting almost double that. Aside from being misled extensively on the timing on when things will occur, I'm satisfied with the service. The biggest aspect I would love to see an improvement with is seeing a detailed schedule of events, including that in an E-mail, and, from there, if any changes were to occur, send a new E-mail with the updates. I would I also like for your site to be more accessible. Get Google out of there or offer alternatives like text messages, calling, special E-mail links, or a combination of these.

The guy working the counter barely answered my questions and forgot to include the blankets I ordered. They closed early and when I returned the trailer and tried to enter, the doors were locked but not properly as they opened enough to set off the alarm. I tried to visit the website posted outside to complete the return only to find the website down. I left the trailer where I picked it up.

Outside of truck was very dirty. I didn't get the 10" truck that I was confirmed for so I had to pay more for gas with the larger truck. Please put cruise control into these trucks.

The first problem was I rented movers that were recommended by your company. I had to call them numerous times noone answered mailbox full, I emailed them when they responded back was told Oh I didn't see your reservation. I was told 9:30 the first time then I was called back and told 11:00, I was then sent pictures of the job workers were doing they finally showed up at my house at 4:00. I paid for 2 hours at $75 an hour. Getting that late my husband and I moved 95 % of furniture and all boxes. The movers were there for only 1 hour and it cost me $150.00. What really pissed me off is the whole move came to traveling 8 miles from U-Haul back to U-Haul my husband put $7 worth of gas into it and it did show full. The worker charged us $11 for gas. So we paid $18 for gas to ride 8 miles. Sounds like a rip off to me

This was going to be a pretty bad review. But Uhaul made it right! We had initially ordered a Ubox to move from RI to Largo, FL Uhaul location, with a storage unit confirmed online at the same Largo, FL location. Meaning, we'd have the Uhaul Box at the Largo location to unload to our reserved storage unit at the same location. When we arrived to check in for our storage unit, we were informed that our unit was in fact not available! For whatever reason, the reservation website allowed us to reserve a unit that was not even available. We were told this at time of check-in. We had to get a storage unit at another facility, which meant we now had to pay $128 for the delivery fee to another location!!! We visited the Largo, FL office and mentioned that we were not happy as this was not in the moving budget, and we had felt (for lack of a better description): betrayed. We bit the bullet and paid the $128 to have the Ubox moved down the street to a new storage unit location. What else could we do?! To our surprise and delight, Uhaul refunded our $128 a few days later! We are beyond thrilled with their attention to this disruption. Thank you to the Largo, FL Uhaul team! Great customer service!

Safety chain was put on by a professional. After driving 1200 miles all the bumps caused 1 link of chain to get stick in tie rod. Lady in office was only concerned about charging me for service guy to come out even after showing pictures. After 2 hours going back and forth with her 6 new neighbors helped me get it off. Horrible customer service in largo Florida. Went to 3 locations to return equipment. One would not take dolly. Had to find another location. Young kid who took dolly off was very nice!! You now have over 6 people that witnessed my phone call give you bad word of mouth!!

Our truck was not ready at our original location. Had to drive across town to get a truck. Made us late for our move in appointment with our leasing office. The truck was reserved a month in an advance and for a certain time, because we needed it at that time. Will not rent from uhaul for future moves.

Have more informative receipts!! I spent half an hour trying to decipher the charges, then another 45 minutes being transferred all over the planet until Kay at 1-877-468-4285 was able to figure it all out. To be specific, the receipt that includes the insurance charge doesn't line item the insurance, so the receipt doesn't math right.

Upon dropping off the trailer I rented, I pulled into the line that is marked drop off equipment here and was then harassed by "Roman". He complained that I just pinned my truck in line, and I wouldn't be able to get out now. I mentioned very politely, there was only one van in front of me with the other lane completely blocked and was doing what the sign stated to do. I then stated I understand that when the van I parked behind was checked in, i would be next. Worst case, someone could have moved the van up three feet and I could easily get out after dropping off my trailer. He then yelled I'm the only one working today. The other customer that was standing in line with me was also surprised at his temper. Just after that another employee walked in to help the next customer. Thought he was the only one working??? That employee mentioned to me to wait by my truck. So, I then went out as directed by the other employee and waited by my truck. Roman then took his time..., then out of the blue, he unhooked the trailer from my truck and dropped it on the ground with a loud crash and yelled at me your done. He then went inside and disappeared. I asked the other employee where he went and what was that guy's name. Good grief!!! No, I won't come back, I won't recommend anyone. I know we're all shorthanded, we are in my job also, I can assure you I would be fired if I spoke to one of my customers, the way he spoke to me and treated me.

UHaul need to be upfront and honest with customers on how long can they use the storage spaces !when they rent them !!! I was forced to move to another facilities after being in my storage unit for 4 months because U haul decided to tear the units down ? They were aware I needed the unit for one year !!!!! on top of it they couldn't offer me another space in the same location !! Costed me double to move plus all the aggravations !!! The equipment at that location is falling apart and very unfriendly employees !!!!

I was in the middle of a project which needed a 10ft truck longer then expected. They told me the truck must be returned. Do found another uhaul dealer with a 10ft across town. I racked up 100 miles and hours of time chasing another truck to find out from the first dealer I could have kept it.

Trailer had leaks in the roof both front upper seams on the front and the upper rear pax roof also leaked rain water into the trailer destroying contents with rain water. Not at all pleased, lost $1 000 of merchandise. Uhaul should refund the rental cost due to inferior equipment.

Was moving cross country from Colorado and had reserved the AC first floor room because we were moving large furniture into it. I called multiple times to confirm that it was still available. When we arrived after all day of driving it turns out that the storage we had reserved, for months, was no longer available and that we would have to call around to random storages to find one that is (virtually impossible day of). Called around and there was nothing available. We called back and told them and then they found a storage unit was available on the second floor with AC. They did not tell me that the "second floor" was only accessible by a ladder on wheels. This made moving all of our furniture extremely difficult both in and out. Other than that, everything went great. The employees were very friendly and helpful, though you could tell they were understaffed.

My experience with uhaul workers in Michigan was excellent. Great communication, and they were there to help with any questions I had. My interaction with the workers at the Largo. FL location was a completely different experience. Zero communication, and I had no idea my box had been delivered until I happened to walk outside and see it in the parking lot. This is unacceptable in my opinion- I had hired a 3rd party moving company (who thankfully were very flexible when UHaul couldn't give me a time frame of delivery)

had to go to largo because the truck our Company ordered in Clearwater, was not available. They didn't have anything we could rent. So much for making reservations in advance. What a royal pain! Then we get to Largo and they don't know how to ring up a Corporate transaction. By the time we got all of this taken care of it was after 10am. We had to go back to Clearwater and get the truck loaded and then get on the road. Our customer was waiting and pretty upset. Will never do this again!

Never answers the phone, not really busy always so not sure why. Stuff got auctioned and they allowed the person who bought it to also take my important paperwork when the GM stated to me that it wasn't allowed. Still have yet to get my paperwork back. The ball was dropped and no one seems to care everything is just kind of brushed off.

Very convenient and hours to access storage were great. One thing that I didn't like was the fact the rate changed every month. It started in the $60s and towards the end I was paying $80s. Also I finished my contract 3 days earlier but there wasn't any adjustments for that.

My unit did not smell very good. The back part of the trailer leaked and there was a puddle on my photo boxes. Did not ruin my photos due to packing them in a plastic box.When I mentioned it to the check out person, he was not concerned. The unit was very secure but not well lit. This was my 3rd storage experience and my other 2 were very clean and dry.

Uhaul offered lot more storage for your money, then what I had previously experienced with another storage facility. The non air conditioning units was not dusty with bugs but very clean and air tight. I will definitely use uhaul storage again and refer all I know. Thanks for a great experience which is a rare find these days.

They never answer phone or emails and my account was messed up from the beginning. I sent several emails and so did my son . I have never had such problems with a U-Haul in my life. My son went in to pay our bill in September and had to wait over 30 minutes in lobby and then he asked for a receipt and waited again for at least 15 minutes said he would email and close it out but it never happened.

Sliding door access card doesn't work 1st all time takes 2-3 times to open. Lighting in space not working. Common area lighting turns off. Locker too far from sensor. Mentioned to staff said that area was an addition and that's the way it is. Safety concern too dark and tripping hazards

The only issue I had was that I had to cancel the unit 3 times after receiving late fee notice and then a lein notice (on a empty unit).. uhual customer service finally resolved the issue for me.

Only issue was we purchased a U-Haul disc lock as we were advised to, but that lock was incorrect for our unit which we didn't realize u til after hours.

I was pleased with the condition of the facility. It was in very good repair, it was very clean, and the climate control was very evident. I found it to suit my needs very well. The location is excellent!

Excellent Service and though it's an additional $10/month for 24hr Access it's worth having. The only downsode, at least for the smaller units, is that there is no elevator (not many steps at least)

Waited 1 hour past the stores opening time for someone to show up and open the store. The unit we had rented was suppose to be large enough to hold the furniture from a 2 bedroom apartment. No way!

Need other options in the questionnaire. We did not use the facility but the POD. The POD was pickup from Co.without any notification. The delivery was very late. No one called to update. Never again

took 75 phone calls to get our pod delivered, a week late and after sitting the location for nearly 4 days. Delivery was promised between 10-2 and finally showed up at nearly 6pm. My wife was angry.
