I had a contract for a 26 ft I think I'd call them at least five times to verify this they sent the contract via email stating I was getting a 26 foot as I always use a 26 ft and halfway through the moving I asked the guys why wasn't everything fitting and he said oh forgot to tell you it was a 20-footer they said that's all they had but they had some 26 when sitting on the lot mine was reserved for a long time. Know everything would not fit just as I knew it wouldn't. So that's my experience hope you had a better one than I did

Checking back in after the location was closed was confusing. I have not seen a final invoice yet. The phone answering service is the worst. I could not reach anyone.

First of all, the night before my move, the St. Petersburg location called me to tell me they overbooked and they wanted to send me to a city 30 miles away to pick up my truck. After calling the main office, I found a location a bit closer but this was still an inconvenience. Second, when I returned the truck that night, the app would not work and I could not load up my photo. I was charged an additional 20 $for an after hours service fee? This is ridiculous. U-Haul has gone down hill.

When someone rents a truck, they should be reminded that the liability coverage on their personal vehicle does not automatically provide liability coverage for use of the truck. (Mine doesn't) So most people will want to purchase both collision and liability coverage from you.

Honestly it was horrible because the truck didn't have a ramp and it wasn't notated that it didn't have a ramp like every other truck that I've ever rented and I had to lift a really heavy piece of equipment without a ramp and the truck could not adjust the mirrors so I can barely see when driving I am not happy with the experience that I had with that it hurt my back trying to lift it up

It would be a good idea to add additional tie-down on the floor of the shipping containers. Also a web link to pay any fees in advance if the client would like to do so. The Uhaul reps in New Port Richey FL and Chalis, WA were great to work with. thanks

Correct the dimensions on the web site for the open landscaping trailer. The rear tailgate is not 6'2", but 4'9 or 10". This caused me a problem which was skillfully resolved by the agent at the store. I wish I remembered her name!

We needed to move the contents of an apartment cross country on fairly short notice. The representatives we talked with were very helpful, and were able to coordinate everything for us---despite having different contact numbers for every leg of the trip! The cost was reasonable, and more importantly everything arrived at the final destination on time and with no breakage.

Terrible, female representative tried to stick me in a bad truck, front right tire was bald, vehicle was dirty, she said that was normal wear on tires, ( I have pictures and it's a bad tire) when we asked why the keys were taken from the service spot on the board, she said it was mistakenly put there, nothing to worry about, you representative tried to stick us with a dangerous truck

Uhaul overall suggestion. Same way y'all can charge late fees or non refilled tank fees, a customer should get money back for returning a truck hours in advanced and with extra gas. Also, veteran discounts.

Largo store was excellent. Dropped truck off at seffner location. Noone there got charged for additional day 62 $when I dropped it off at 10:30 am. I Had to call 3 times.

I was charged a late fee for returning the tow dolly after hours even though they were still open when we dropped it off. At first I was inclined to beleive this was a mistake but after reading other reviews about this place it seems to be a common issue in an attempt to get extra money

The U- Box did not arrive on time. I was billed for storage and I did not store anything and the Box was returned. I was given different prices for the same service and I feel like I was over charged.

i tried to correct the mileage erroneously logged by the previous customer but it would not accept a clear image showing the correct odometer mileage (think it ended up at 88077, had done a local move for my daughter). So I left it at the higher number but reflecting the correct usage. No sure how to correct for that.

When I picked up my truck on Friday, I had called and changed my pick up time from 330 to 630 and Roman was assisting me he was very nice and patient. Aaron who I was told has been there for 8 years walks up and tosses the keys to Roman and relied " I AM SHOCKED THEY HELD THAT TRUCK FOR YOU"! I responded by saying that's because I called....Aaron went on and on and ended with " THATS WHY YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO CALL"! I didn't say anything back but, he pretty much was calling me a liar.....it took a lot for me to respond but thats not what really made me upset. While Roman was assisting me his hands were shaking a lot and he was moving slow but his customer service was exquisite and he kept apologizing to me then Aaron comes and stands over him critizing him by saying oh, it worked for me earlier so Roman relied oh these computers are something else and Aaron responds by saying it's not the computer it's the USER! By this time I had enough I almost left without getting the truck but I did not want to disappoint the kids at the little league field! I then tried make up to Roman by complimenting him about what great customer service he displays and explained to him that I was a manager at the VA and he is very patient and also told him sometimes being faster isn't better. While having this conversation with Roman, Aaron stands there and laughs at Roman. At this point I am really livid and whole heartely felt embarrassed for Roman.I did call and made a report of this but someone was supposed to call me on Saturday and they never did. Whoever is reading this needs to do something about Aaron because your store is a cooperate store and in all of my years in renting from UHAUL I have never experienced something like this! He belittled his coworker so bad until all he could do is lower his head from embarrassment! PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, I WAS STILL HURT OVER IT, WHEN I RETURNED MY UHAUL I WAS AFFRAID TO TALK TO AARON. IAN CHECKED ME IN AND GAVE ME A DAY OFF OF MY RENTAL. HE ALSO MADE ANOTHER RESERVATION FOR ME. I know that Aaron might be a great worker but, HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL SUCK!! SEND HIM TO SOME CLASSES. I RETURN MY RENTAL IN TEARS BECAUSE OF THE ABUSE I WITNESSED HIM DO TO ROMAN.

I have never had a better experience with any other company in any other area of business than with U-haul. In the last year I have spoken with or had help from 14 different U-Haul employees. Every one was friendly and helpful. Just totally a cut above any other company that I have ever dealt with. This was at 4 different locations in California, 2 different locations in Florida and wherever the phone assistance is located. Further your U-box service is awesome! I recommend it to everyone who i discuss the move with and I have the rest of my family, who are also currently moving, using U-Box. My possessions arrived in excellent condition. And this was during the rainy season in Florida and the south. Not the slightest bit of moisture damage. Please keep up the great work! By the way this might seem like a bit over the top. But honestly this has been my experience. With renting a U-Haul trailer with hitch install last summer (2020) and the U-Box experience this summer (2021). Two rentals across the country dealing with 6 different U-Haul locations. I believe that a good job by someone should be recognized and made known. I might add that I also used U-Haul in 1988 to move across the country in the other direction and had the same good experience then. You can publish this review if you want. Jim Fletcher

The lady that handled my rental was occupied with her cell phone as well as conversation with her coworker and was unfortunately not so great at multitasking. I rented a small trailer which was hooked by the the uhaul associate. He checked to make sure signal and brake lights worked but he apparently did not check to ensure the trailer coupler was actually engaged with the ball. As I drove I heard some unfamiliar noises but didn't think too much of it. When I arrived at my destination 40 miles later I was shocked to discover the the trailer coupler was merely "resting"over the ball. I was able to attach the two as it should have been and return home safely. It makes me cringe to think about the how I could have caused an accident with the unsecured trailer and caused harm to others and or myself. In nursing we call this a "near miss" - definitely an opportunity for learning and improvement. I will notify the uhaul location so they can make sure it doesn't happen again and I will be doing my own safety check to make sure trailer connected properly. Also, I will not disregard extra, unfamiliar noises when pulling a trailer

1st…. Don't advertise “fuel saver” all over your vehicles when the truck I rented got 3,84MPG in town. EMPTY!! 2nd… I also used the website to rent the truck and when I went to pick it up the website said “skip the lines and go right in for your key” I had to wait for 15 mins while the people behind the counter were helping other customers. There was no “side counter” to go to. 3rd…. The truck rode like it had a bent rim and the engine started very slow which i believe it had a weak almost dead battery. The woman inside said she thought It was dead but she said she was mistaken for another truck. I won't be using uhaul again.

Sliding door access card doesn't work 1st all time takes 2-3 times to open. Lighting in space not working. Common area lighting turns off. Locker too far from sensor. Mentioned to staff said that area was an addition and that's the way it is. Safety concern too dark and tripping hazards

1. I suggest you add an option on your website to allow customers to choose if they like uhaul to include the free furniture pads or not. Sometimes customers do not need them and including them in the container robs them of some extra space. 2. The page that gathers info on where to place the u-box has a bug. I tried it several times but did not save my entries. Please debug and resolve.

To improve the customer experience you need to remove Amber form dealing with humans. Amber didn't make eye contact with me for several minutes as I stood in front of her while SHE made a personal phone call. Ironically, her personal phone call was about her caller having horrible reviews online. Amber needs to be taught proper etiquette when greeting "PAYING" customers. When she got off of her phone call, speaking to multiple people as I stood in front of her, she finally addressed me, she still never looked in my eyes. I was wearing a mask, BECAUSE WE ARE IN A WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC!!!!!! She was NOT wearing a mask! I declared, I am here for my 11am appointment to have my 562 $tow hitch attached to my car she abruptly told me, "There isn't anyone to do you service, goodbye." I explained that someone called me on Friday to confirm my appointment and I returned their call. She wasn't apologetic about me driving from Sarasota to Largo and offered ZERO possibilities to rectify the situation. She wasn't polite!! She wasn't professional!! She never even tried to call the GM, Vit who was called away to another location. I will continue to tell everyone I know about your horrible associate. Zachary and Vit came through. Zachary put the supplies in my trunk and I drove to Vit in Clearwater to have the hitch installed. ONE BAD APPLE SPOILS THE BUNCH!!!! I can't rate the location as I didn't go there so I'll give it 3 stars as one has to fill in all the blanks. My driver who was the sole mover unloading my things was great. Very kind and respectful of my items. The rest of the experience was a nightmare. I didn't get my UBOX until around 6:30 although requested 1:00. The driver had a flat tire and was told by Uhaul it would take 1,5 hours to get to him. They could have called AAA but didn't as they didn't care about me the customer. My bed frame came in w/o some of the necessary pieces to put together. They weren't on the truck so it was from the previous mover. My dining table came broken and unusable. I will never use u again or recommend you. You are disorganized and unprofessional. I specifically used you a mover as I wanted something to sleep on and a table to eat on. Both broken. Had I known I would have thrown out my important things and replaced them with new upon arrival. I would have saved myself the money, time and stressful aggravation. You can't be trusted.
