I had a reservation for another location, which had been confirmed by them. Two days beforehand, with no explanation, suddenly they would not have the truck I reserved after all, and I had to drive twice as far to get my truck. I had to pay another $50 in gas. And this is not the first time something like this has happened. Obviously, this is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, and I will not be doing business with U-Haul again.
Luke S.Vehicle gas gauge seemed inaccurate for the amount of miles vehicle was used. Drove the Silverado 18 miles but had to put 3 gallons of gas in to see the gas gauge move. Staff could not explain what the per mile charge covers. Went from an advertised cost of $19,99 rental to a total cost of $68. Seems disingenuous to advertise this way and doesn't appear very honest.

Luckily I contacted them ahead of time to confirm and was told my rental was scheduled for pick up at another Uhaul location 45 minutes away. I was never contacted by a rep. to inform me of this. How could that happen?
Jim M.Nothing to do with the local office but (1) it takes wayyyy too long to do the paperwork. I was second in line when I got there and it took 10-15 minutes to get the person in front of me processed. (2) when people who obviously, based on the side of the conversation I heard, call to inquire about a rental, too much of your employee's time is spent repeatedly answering the same question over and over. Either those calls need to be taken in private so your counter person can assist someone who is waiting in line, or they need to be taken by your call center.

Richard S.Truck smelled like smoke when I opened the door. The employees were too busy chatting amongst themselves instead of focusing on the customers in front of them and getting the transaction processed in a timely manner.

I started the process over and it was completed. A short time later I received a call from a young lady inquiring if I wanted two reservations. She then took care of the unwanted duplication. It's that kind of attention to detail that reinforces confidence in a business. Also, Bob Reed was very attentive in processing both the pick up and the return. I would not consider going anywhere else for these needs. They both cast a very positive reflection on U-Haul. Thank you.

Harold B.Make web sight more clear on usage of equipment. I specifically stated I wanted to haul a 2020 Ford fusion. Web sight recommended a car carrier. After loading car because the side rails were too high and ford sat lower. I could not egress the auto. I had to remove the auto and call a flat bed towing company. I wasted my time and a hundred and twenty miles travel to not be able to utilize the equipment I rented.

I got a text after I left said it had to be back by 6 PM and I had only gotten out of 10. I called and they said I could keep it until the midnight. I then got a call at 6:30 telling me the truck was late so I had to rush down there and barely made it by closing time. I did find that upsetting and I felt like I did not get my moneys worth. The only plus side was your employees all were friendly and nice. Also the visor on the drivers side fell on me when I was driving

TRAVIS M.I had a wiring harness installed on my Santa Fe. The process was quick and a reasonable cost. I rented a trailer 2 days later. The guys hooked it up for me and were very polite and professional. I'd gladly recommend this business. The best in town.

This added an additional 15 miles one way to our mileage. The Lebanon location was very understanding and gracious about the issue. I suggest that reservations be updated if the location changes.

Also, I got charged an extra $8,5 supposedly because Gas tank wasn't fill to were it was, which isn't true. The tank was a lot lower than what the contract papers shows. Shame on me for trusting them and dont say something when I noticed it.

I pulled into the first entrance I came to and backed the truck into a spot, because that is what I have always done in the past. The gentleman seemed very irritated that I did not park it in the correct spot. But since I came in the entrance at the rear of the parking lot all of the signage was facing the opposite direction so there was no direction for me to follow.

The little interaction with staff seemed like we were a nuisance. Paid $170/month for interior storage and did not expect to see a lot of mouse waste on my wooden furniture shelves. Luckily only stored wood and plastic furniture and so far did not find damage from these critters. Would suggest this facility invest in some type of rodent repellents for their units so no one else has to deal with finding surprises in their belongings.

When getting my account set up, there were two employees working at the computer without any sort of mask. When checking out, there were three employees working on and out of the building. One of the employees did have his mask on while outside, but when I saw him inside later, he and the other two employees were not wearing masks. I felt very unsafe. In addition, the couple of customers I saw inside the storage warehouse were not wearing masks either (which I acknowledge is a lot harder to control).

I did not know this at the time but the employee knew that and did not contact me to let me know. Instead, he let it go three days until finally letting me know he was charging me $15 extra for being late. I tried to tell him this, but he did not seem to care and charged my card anyway. So instead of $103 I paid $118. I know it isn't that big of a difference but during times like these, every penny counts and this entire ordeal was very unflattering. It was like HE was making that $15 and did not seem to care what I had to say. I hope Uhaul can help me with this issue or else I will take my business elsewhere next time.
