Parking lot signage a bit confusing. Noticed several customers having to look around like we did.

I was late and the other location I rented from ended up renting my trailer to another individual, which was to be expected as I was running 2 hours late. Maddie let me know she had one available and asked if I wanted it. It worked out perfectly. The guys help me get everything attached to the truck. Great location.

Chris H.I go though the entire check out procedure on my phone with the pictures AND THEY STILL OVERCHARGED ME FOR 1,2 mileage that was entered wrong at pickup. I submitted the picture of the mileage and fuel gauge and received a message that it was updated on records. Cannot believe what UHaul states.

Jaryn L.The return after hours process is a bit messy. I returned the motorcycle trailer and I tried to say it was returned clean but the process didn't accept my photos. In order to complete the process, I had to say it was returned dirty and so I'll need to call the store in the morning to get my $15 reimbursed.

Gary C.Fire the return processing person! This was by far my worst U-haul experience EVER! Rented pick-up that needed to be washed (or at least the windshield cleaned) and had 1/4 tank of gas. I noted the odometer was off by 1 mile, showing 5167 instead of the 5166 miles on the paperwork. I took a picture of the mileage using the U-Haul app (the app would not let me complete it otherwise). I drove the truck a total of 14 miles and put 3 gallons of gas in bringing the tank to 7/16 full. When returning it was told I owed over $120 that included a fuel surcharge and that the truck had to be returned full as per the contract (which would be 25,5 gallons! at $4 per gallon or a total of $101,97 for driving it 14 miles!) When I said the truck had a quarter tank to start I was asked if I had any pictures. Then I discovered the pictures I took in the app weren't on my phone! I asked if I could pull up the pictures from the app I was told "I don't think you can, you'll just have to request reimbursement" Realizing this return person was going to charge me over $120 for the "$19,95 per day rental", I produced my copy of the contract that showed a quarter tank then was told 'I'll put the contract on hold and you'll have to go inside" (so much for 'skip the line')". After waiting in line , the total charge was reduced to $44,92 , still showing the 5166 miles as the start mileage. BTW - U-Haul owes me $0,59 for the extra mile I was charged for.

James W.These employees actually work at being professional and courteous. This is not common in most retail environments. If U-Haul corporate wants this behavior to continue, these employees should be recognized and rewarded for being above bar.
Chris H.Once I got to my new location, the truck began having mechanical issues that caused the engine to die when idling. I barely got it back to the UHaul store and if I hadn't been able to get the truck to limp all the way back, the roadside assistance was going to be a 2 hour wait!! Very poor maintenance of their fleet and the advertisement of roadside assistance getting there promptly is a joke.
Johnny F.Great staff at the Lenexa Marshal Rd location. Great location with a circular setup. Got out of there today like a pit stop. Getting back was a bit slower checking in. I would not go to any other U haul.

LARRY C.I moved into U Haul Lanexa, in a 15 ft U Haul Truck / Out of a 15 ft Extra Space Storage Unit. who's monthly rent was $80 a month. I rented a 15 ft U Haul Truck to move into the Lenexa U Haul facility. I moved out of Lenexa U Haul storage in a 15 ft truck, into a 15 ft storage space at B&B STORAGE I'n Cheney Ks For $75 per month. BOTTOM LINE: I was extremely over charged (PREDATORY PRICEING) for what was supposed to be a 15 ft storage unit. Chris Smith charged me for TWO units 1124 & 1126 ?????? I never understood that. The reason I had to put things in storage was that I had a hospital bill of $234 000 in 2018 and another $38 000 in 2019. I am 82 yrs old, and disabled, and was not able to help or see the units plural instead of the one 15ft storage I asked for. The two helpers I hired to move me didn't ask or care. IN CLOSING: I FEEL THAT I HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE O F. THE REASON I HAVE TAKEN TIME TO ANSWER YOUR MOVE OUT QUESTION MOVE.OUT EXPERIENCE IS THAT I HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO DISCUSS MY PLIGHT WITH THE AUTHORITIES AS FOLLOWS: AARP SENIOR ADVISORS DISABLED SENIOR CARE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU CONSUMER AFFAIRS SECRETARY OF STATE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. I have been advised that a logical solution to our conundrum should be based on the storage fees that I paid pre $80 at Extra Space Storage, and post B&B Storage $75 presently. That I Should settle for a remembursement of $100 Per month for the months I paid over $200 per month for storage at the Lanexa I HAUL FACILITY. THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR KIND CONSIDERATION.
