They did not latch the door properly and did not tighten the hitch. After a few blocks I stoped and did both. They did not mention an online tool asking me to check the trailer. They were more interested in what they were doing on their phone than interacting with me.richard L.
The store opened an hour late on Saturday 11/20/21. The employee had overslept. Nonetheless, the guy came in and handled a tough situation very well. He gave me furniture pads for free. I have no complaints. Thank you for having the truck ready. It worked out well.TIMOTHY R.

I reserved a 6x12 trailer. When i got there, the trailer smelled like gasoline inside it. The staff were awful. The manager basically said take it or cancel the reservation. There was another 6x12 on the lot, but he wouldn't let me use that one. He didn't offer to clean it either. And your website required i take a picture of the unit to log my displeasure... not sure how to take a picture of a smell. The experience was terrible. The manager has ZERO customer service skills in his body. He went on to tell me how these trailers went around the world, and he couldn't be accountable for them. I asked to have them find another 6x12 at another u-haul, and he said that all the other places were out. i had a move planned. I had people helping. I was using this to move furniture. I had no options and your staff didn't offer any guidance beyond take it or leave it. I took the trailer and was forced to clean the inside myself. I scrubbed away the gasoline smell. This isn't what i signed up for. LOUSY service. You need better, more empathic and customer focused staff.WILLIAM H.
I know finding and keeping help is hard right now but the 1 person running the counter did an excellent and efficient job of getting everyone out as quickly as he could and still made sure that everyone knew everything they needed to know before leaving. He really needed someone to help. Some customers sounded frustrated but it was very obvious to me that your employee was on point and got everyone on their way as quickly as he could without cutting corners. Somewhat like the legal disclaimer speed reader you hear at the end of commercials..Thank you for the rental.Raymond W.

Vehicle was clean and reservation was there as promised. Unfortunately the door had issues closing due to a failed pulley system and I spent an hour on the phone and disconnecting the pulley wire so I could close the door securely for travel. Also had to buy a tool to accomplish this. Seems to me you could check these things prior to renting. Rather than credit me for the plyers I purchased or the lost time, the store manage made it seem like I'm in luck to not be charged extra (?).KEVIN P.

The agent discovered on drop off that one of the chains had several links which were very thin and was surprised no one noticed this before I picked up the trailer. He stated he would be replacing the chain before the trailer was rented again. Great customer service at both locations I visited. Merci.Cheryl M.

You should have more employees the poor girl was there all alone not that she did a bad job because she was awesome but she was running around with her head cut off and customers aren't very nice and she held her own I wish I remember her name because she deserves a raise thanks for listeningRICK D.
The person who was supposed to return it didn't know she had to have it back by 10 am, so we were 2,5 he's late in getting our truck. We drove it 41 miles, put 20 $with of gas in it and then we were charged 19 $for gas. I don't think they logged what the person before used correctly. It was just one thing that was not very good.. I return the truck son a wet rainy night an hour before closing, when I return home I realized that i left my wallet in the truck. I was surprised that they did not call me to let me know. I was scared that maybe I lost at the gas station because I did not hear from them. When I got back they had no idea because they are supposed to check the truck but they did not and they comment â€œ good thing that the truck was not rented after you at the time I was not mad just happy to find my wallet but on the ride home is when a realized that if they just did their job this would been a much better experience.DONNA O.
Picking up my truck was good except they did not have one of the dollys I had reserved when I reserved the truck. Returning it was a bit harder as the place where you return the equipment was blocked and it was very busy. Also trying to figure out why there was a 59 $charge beyond the original 300 $. Hoping to get an invoice soon so I can understand the charge.ANN MARIE L.

Two out of four tires bald. Driver side rear brake line broken off of brake. Brake reservoir obviously empty but surprised to find the cap was completely frozen indicating nobody has had the cap off in a very long time. D links on both safety chains were bent and threaded collars could not tighten. Ratchet mechanism for tire hold down frozen and had to be oiled. Trailer wiring was chafed through down to bare wire. And to top it all off i pointed all of these problems out to the employees upon it's return and nobody gave a sh*t. Shame i can't post all of the pictures of these broken/worn out and neglected items here that i have.Complete embarrassment of a trailer, Uhaul should be ashamed and I'm glad nobody including me got hurt. To all future customers, beware of car trailer with Equipment #AT6710M.JOHN S.

There was this small rip of the rubber liner inside the van, because I did not know or didn't inspect the van before leaving , I was billed of almost a 100 $for that. Upon receiving my receipt and noticed this , I went to the location office and explained to them that did not happen when had the van. They told me since I did not inspect and took pictures before leaving, it happened under my contract. I thanked them and left. It taught me a lesson.AKWASI A.

Me and my girlfriend rented a truck 10ft. As we thought we were all set we got in the vehicle only to find that the rear right tire was low on air. We attempted to put air into the tire and noticed the psi was only decreasing meaning there was a leak in the tire. We took it back up to uhaul before leaving they noticed as well there was a leak and offered us another vehicle of the same kind. They told us we were all set and because of the inconvenience we would not be charged. When we returned the vehicle the rate changed from 19,95 to 39,95 for whatever reason and they charged my girlfriends card before we even returned the vehicle. So we ended up paying an extra 20 dollars for whatever reason. Other then that they decent to us. I feel the rate should have stayed the same and I do not know why it was changed or charged more even but it is what it is..VICTORIA M.

It would be REALLY helpful if somewhere in LARGE BOLD LETTERS you made it clear that there is NO CREDIT AT ALL for returning the truck with MORE gas than it had when you got it. It's a beginners mistake, but I received a truck with 1/4 tank gas and mindlessly I filled the tank -74,00 $. I returned the truck with 3/4 tank.ROBERT A.
