two male employees. Black guy talking about what makes your beard grow, Implying oral sex on a woman makes your beard grow. White guy said he dont know about that. Black guy jokes about white guy not doing oral sex on women and men dont count or something like that. Two white girls encouraged the comments. When black guy was aware that he was out of line. Said he didnt care and would talk the way he wanted until they fire him or drag him out.

Your service was very good from.check in to returning the van. Your manager, Tracy Briggs, at the desk when I returned the truck this afternoon was very professional,courteous and helpful even while he was handling multiple customers all by himself all at the same time. He deserves a 5 star award! It's hard to find reliable courteous employees like Mr. Briggs!

First I reserved a 26 foot U-Haul when I got there they had just rented out the last 26 footer and all they had left was 15 foot, so I took it. I was told that the following morning I would be refunded the difference between the two sizes. I requested an appliance dolly instead they gave me the normal dolly. Again I was told I would be refunded the difference the next morning when the check in was completed. I ordered half a dozen furniture pads. I noticed when I took the truck there was no furniture pads and I told them about it and they said sorry they were currently out. Again I would be refunded the difference in the morning at check in. When I returned the U-Haul that night I reminded them of all these things and he stated that I would be refunded the difference in the morning when it was checked in. So the next morning I checked and not only was I not refunded the difference for any of it, I was charged for missing furniture pads in the amount of $51.10. Furniture pads that I never received to use because they were out. Everything that I was told was a lie just to get me out the door. I never leave reviews, definitely not negative one because I work with the public and know how it can be, however this was by far the worst, most ridiculous experience for U-Haul or anything like it that I have ever had. I should've know something was wrong when I went to turn in the key and this random lady came up to me and yelled loud enough for everyone around to hear "this place is horrible, I will never do business here again, never!" There is something really wrong with this location and it's turned me off of using U-Haul ever again. I'm just going with enterprise next time.

I've had to use a storage unit with another company before and it was awful. The experience I had with Uhaual and in speaking with the gentleman was absolutely the best customer service experience. Kudos the manager and to all employees especially Trey.(I think that's his name) at the U-Haul at 1200 E New Circle Rd. in Lexington Ky. Great customer service starts with management.

I have no comments for improvement as the staff at this location was individually "perfect". They answered all my questions, attached the trailer perfectly, gave me advice on driving, gave me proper paperwork and were "above friendly".

This truck rental came off exactly as we needed it, on time and with no hassle or delay. Time was of the essence due to our son and daughter-in-law having a deadline to leave their rental property. The plan worked out fine, and thanks to the courtesy and competency of the staff at this location, the move went on schedule. We could not be more pleased, and will return for any future rental needs.

The vehicle was a high mileage van and although it performed its function of helping me move a car engine, the air conditioner did not work.

Our Reservation was for 08:00 the employees weren't in the store when we arrived , it was a line of people waiting complaining of the lack of staff and when they did return the guy who helped us sat at the desk by the window and the area wreaked of Marijuana smell so bad that i commented on it as i also expressed my disappointment about the lack of professionalism on their part and uhauls part in general for changing our reservation appointment for the car dolly. We ordered it to be picked up at the same time and place of the truck going at to two separate tines at two different locations was ridiculous and a cost that we were not willing to pay for in fuel or our time!!! The guy blamed corporate. I stated that if it was changed and all that i reserved was not available we should have been made aware of it when the lady called to confirm the appointment days before. Make sure that when there is a change to the reservation and order on the companies end like the reserved equipment not being available that you contact the customer about it immediately. We ordered a Tow dolly for our car and a 2 wheeled furniture dolly which was available at the time of the reservation, but when it came to the day of pickup neither item was available at the location the day of the pickup. We were told that the car transport was reserved for 4:00 p.m at another location which was changed without our knowledge or confirming the change with us.

This U-Haul location was a substitute for the original reservation. Original reservation stated the trailer requested was there and available. Less than an hour later we received notification that to get a trailer I would have to drive to Lexington. Not convenient since we do not live in Lexington. My question is "Why show inventory that is not available?" Staff at Lexington store was friendly and helpful but again out of the way.

Everyone there has been beyond friendly and helpful every time I've rented a trailer. Even with the storage unit, they went above and beyond to fix something that was a glitch not on their end! I will 100 % be keeping my storage unit with them, as well always rent any trailers I might need in the future from them!

I originally made a reservation weeks before my trip, when I went into the office to confirm everything 2 days before my pickup they couldn't find my reservation, however after checking they found that the young man reserved the dolly I requested but not the truck itself. The man and woman who foummd and corrected the original mistake were excellent, kind and helpful. It was a good experience overall but it could have been a disaster if I hadn't stopped by 2 days before my reservation.

The employee was sitting on the floor when I walked in. Then they did not explain where to take the U-Haul properly and then yelled at me and got an attitude when I followed their initial instructions. The employee was mumbling and I could hardly understand him. It was like pulling teeth to talk to him.

When I got into my rental it had 1 mile to empty on the gas gage. I barley made it to get gas. The girl who brought the truck out was driving so fast so almost hit me. Not great service at all.

The truck was clean but the cab smelled like stinky feet, and when I brought it back they charged me $30 because he said it smelled like cigarettes. I do smoke, but I didn't smoke in there. I just from one side of town to the other twice. The truck didn't handle very well. It felt like the wheels were out of line. Also, I reserved an appliance dolly and they didn't have one when I picked up the truck. The guy that checked the truck out was alright and the guy that checked the truck back in was alright too. But the guy that said the truck smelled like cigarettes is a liar. I figured he said that because I told him I was going outside to smoke while I was waiting.

I would recommend not double booking equipment I was perfectly fine with the truck I was able to get but others might not. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful which helped the experience.

I was very impressed with how accommodation U-Haul was. There was an employee named "Tracy" that was friendly, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to help me out and others. I observed Tracy handle a computer system crash, three different customers, answer phones all going in at the same time. Great job to him.

I was treated with respect by staff, yet I had trouble with the storage entrance door card reader and the the storage roller up door got stuck also. U-Haul Staff Mr. Tracy was so helpful in getting everything worked out. The staff was awesome and my move in was great.

Inform your employees to listen when you try to give correct mileage. Busy office, no greeting, Only used truck for 4 hours. Decided to use drop off process. Personnel directed us to leave truck running along side building instead of parking. Charged $25 for cleanup after drop off. Wonder how many times that happens....

Be careful to deliver the equipment with security measures. The head lock that goes to the ball to pull does not have the safety pin and was close to an accident. I returned aclsvogucinavoor a pin and they didn't have it, I told them to get the pin from another team because I already loaded my car, and no team had the security pin

Major improvements and customer service with the change in local management at this location. I am very impressed with the turnaround being made here. I have rented a storage unit here since October 2019 and seen some very unfavorable customer service from the site but that's all changed now.

My need was simple, or so I thought. I wanted to rent a utility trailer to haul scrap lumber to the dump. I researched the requirements for towing a trailer on the U-haul website before making my reservation to make sure all would go smoothly when I went to pick up the trailer. after finalizing the transaction at the dealer, I went with an agent to attach the trailer to my vehicle. At that point the agent said "I can't rent you the trailer because your hitch only has a 1 7/8" ball and we require you to have a 2" ball." I told her that is not what it says on the U-haul website and even showed it to her. The site specifically states, "Must have 1-7/8" or, 2" hitch ball." She said she would check with her manager, which ended up taking at least 30 minutes and ultimately resulted in her restating that she wasn't allowed to rent me a trailer because of my 1 7/8' ball and in order for me to rent one I would have to purchase not only a 2" ball, but a 2'' adapter to fit my 1" receiver. Bottom line is, by the time that transaction was completed, purchased items were installed and trailer attached 1 1/2 hours had elapsed, which took a huge chunk out of the time available to complete my task. All in all, it was a very frustrating experience!!!

A bit confusing on how to use app to check in when returning after hours. It's a great feature, but wasn't aware I had to take a picture live during check-in so i had already dropped off the key prior to check in. So it wouldn't allow me to check in the van and I had to call following morning to let staff know. Might be beneficial to have a sign to walk through process? If there was one, I may have missed it.

Checked in online-the storage unit was occupied. Called the facility and was put on hold for 15 min-walked up and 2 employees were just talking. They couldn't find an empty unit. I found one and asked if I could have it and they said it was rented to someone else. Eventually they gave me that unit and said it was a mistake? Didn't get a lock for the unit-bought my own- and will be moving out ASAP. Went to turn in my U-Haul key and no employees could be found. It was 1pm. In regards to the U-Haul, I was first given one that had a parking break issue-a voice came on in English and Spanish to tell me to turn the break off every 30 seconds. I went back and said I had a long drive-it wouldn't work (the employee told me it would go off once the vehicle was started-it didn't). Then I got a U-Haul that doesn't have working headlights and didn't realize until I was on the road in the dark. After all of that-I still wasn't going to complain-but the mileage was put in wrong-I drove a total of 500miles TOPS and they charged me for over 3 400 miles!!!!! I can't do anything about it because it is Christmas but now my card is charged over 3k instead of $600. I am beyond livid and upset. There honestly should be a 0 star option

All the staff were so friendly, kind, understanding, respectful. Great service. If I could give a star rating of every star in the sky I would. Que treated me like family. Best customer service I have ever experienced! If I could have gave a tip I would have. Words can't explain. He answered all my questions and was very polite, patient and professional. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family to go to Que. I asked if he had a business card but I guess regular associates don't have one. If you all ever have a lead position open and Que is interested he would be perfect as a lead. Thank you Que is all I have to say!

This unit was closed, I never used it. The size unit I needed was not available at this location, so I was moved to the new location. This location should have been deleted off of my account. An employee at the desk was offering round locks, that had been opened and the keys were readily available to anyone, including the employees. There was no feeling whatsoever of any security at this location due to this fact

I had did a reservation online and it was not available, had to wait to get a unit, which was an inconvenience since I had hired movers by the hour, to unload my U-Haul, but the cashier was very helpful and found me a unit. I ended up renting two since the online options were hard to visualize the right size, the online size and what actually was needed was way off!!!

Every time I've been here (3 different moves), I've had problems. I've spent four hours here over the last two days. This office is poorly managed and extremely slow! People waiting in line to purchase supplies have to wait on others who are renting or returning vehicles. The self check out app doesn't work, so those people have no other choice but to wait. I reserved my storage unit online, went to the office yesterday to get the lock and complete the remaining paperwork. I waited in line an hour while only four people were waited on. The guy told me the lock was inside the unit and gave me a map to get to it. I left to get a truckload of stuff and returned after hours, only to find that unit already had a lock on it. I had to drive my load back home. I returned this morning, waited in line another two hours with five people ahead of me. The online system was down and the guy had to walk back and forth to find a unit that was empty. He replaced my 10x20 with two 10x10 units. He was very polite and apologetic. It is ridiculous that a company as large as uhaul has this many issues. My last move, they didn't have the truck that I'd reserved and I had to drive across town to get it at another location, while the movers I'd paid by the hour were waiting at my house. My move in a few weeks better not have the same problems. I'm giving uhaul another chance and so far I'm not impressed.

The service AT the Uhaul facility was OUTSTANDING. My criticism is for the website and the fact that I was sold a unit that was unavailable, which resulted in me having to pay the movers extra to hold my furniture overnight as well as paying additional moving charges for them to come back and drop off my furniture. I am requesting reimbursement from Uhaul in the amount of the truck storage $125.00. Please advise regarding this request.

The staff was friendly and helpful if I was in the store. I attempted to call multiple times because I had checked out of my storage unit on the app, but the office (I assume) did not close my account out in the computer. I started receiving late payment notices, so I tried to call the office multiple times. The first time I was told to call back when the manager was working. Every other time the call got redirected to your call center. If you are going to offer an app to do business with U-Haul then the app needs to work. If the office is going to keep business hours, then they need to answer the phone. I have rented four U-Haul trucks this year in addition to the storage unit. Every time without fail, I had issues using the app to pick up or drop off the truck. The app is a GREAT idea, but it is poorly written and poorly supported.

My weed eater came up missing. I paid insurance for this unit. I've moved out my belongings on 8/23/2022! Not the date they have. When we first moved in they kept a key to my shed because the door was broken. So they rented me a broken shed and I don't know until it was full and we tried to shut the door. The people at this facility are lazy and don't care about your things. I would NOT recommend this uhaul site to anyone!

Every time I've called I'm placed on hold for 10-15 minutes then hung up on so multiple calls are needed to be made. No one is able to answer any questions, and if your so much as a couple hours late ( not days, hours) on your unit payment they lock you out. The store smells like weed and the employees are visibly high.

I would of gave 5 stars but who I assume is a manager came out in front of customers and was raising her voice about some of the workers not clocking in and her having to fix their time, very unprofessional, that should never happen in front of a customer and she shouldn't of been raising her voice like that to employees.. she needs an attitude adjustment, wrote up or even fired.. I will also send word up to the main headquarters about this issue just incase this doesnt make it up to there.

Checking into the unit was fine. Poor guys computer went down halfway through and I was almost charged for the unit when it was supposed to be free but it was his first time checking in a storage unit so I understand. It was afterwards that the problems started. Due to work it was a couple days before we could put stuff in the unit. We get there and there's a lock on the unit. We go to the office and turns out one of the employees had rented it to someone else in the couple days before we unloaded. After much confusion they tell us "sorry a new employee we've had since NOVEMBER has been doing this to people and she was fired yesterday." If she'd been there since November then she's not "new." So they rested us another unit that was NOT indoor (which we were supposed to have) after making the comment of "because we were upset they almost didn't want to rent us a unit" and trying to say we owed them because it was a bigger unit than the original one. Then as we unloaded the employees kept driving by and parking and sitting in their personal cars watching us as we unloaded. Needless to say we DID NOT use the lock they gave us and we put 2 locks on the unit. We also drove by the unit almost every night to make sure it was secure. After 2 weeks they call and tell us we can't have 2 locks on our unit because it was in our contract and if we were ever delinquent they had to be able to put their lock on the unit. We told them ok we will be moving out in a couple days anyway so we'll take care of it then (this was on 3/28 and our payment wouldn't have been due until 4/12 and we're living outside of Lexington). They said that wasn't good enough and we had to take one off that day or they would cut one off. I understand if it was in our contract (I have not double checked that) but to be honest if you can cut one off what's the big deal anyway? So we had to rent another UHaul (which we wouldn't have had to do otherwise and we DID NOT rent from this location) to clear out the unit because these people had acted suspiciously when we were unloading. We were clearing it out after office hours and again the employees were driving by and parking and sitting in their personal cars watching us load everything and then they followed us halfway home after we left before making a u turn and leaving. I think UHaul needs to keep a close eye on this location.

My unit was broken into by an employee that was recently hired because there was no way access to the unit could have been granted by anyone else. My lock was cut off and the locking mechanism on the door was damaged. I had to buy a new lock because the staff would not provide one for me. The staff was unprofessional at best. Children and friends of staff would be at the front of the service desk. It was hard to find staff at times. Long wait times in line. No communication when my storage locker was broken into. I still don't know what my access code to the unit is. I would stay away from this storage unit unless you can't find any other option and even at that point I would still say no.

Someone moved me out of my unit. I couldn't pay my bill on line. They cut my lock off and I couldn't get in my unit because someone moved my name out of computer. I had to go there twice to get this fixed. I should've been given a free month. Because of this my payment was late.

Long office wait time, which cut into my hired-mover moving time, and they do not accept cash payments without being penalized. Rental unit had a lock on it for non-payment, then I was on hold for 15 minutes while trying to reach the office, but then ran into an employee who then removed lock on an empty unit....?? The unit was what I wanted. The curtesy staff at the desk were not at all friendly and actually quite rude. A staff member who worked outside the desk area was friendly and helpful which made up for the other at the desk. A little more training in customer service is needed at this facility.

I have to ratings My pick up and my drop off My pick up was friendly, maybe not the ideal uhaul, but I would still go back My drop off in Lexington was the worse, after I stored my load, I drove back toward the office where I saw I guy sitting and I asked do I turn it in here,, now my car was still attached to dolly, and he said drop off is here you have to go all the way around the building to here, so I did, when I got out and he was still sitting down, took him 5 mins to get up and come over to me. He then said are you going to unload your car here, you could have did it there and pointed to where I asked him if this was the drop off, so now I'm getting upset, so I said, I asked you when I was there, we are all standing there, finally I said when are you going to take the car off the dolly or do you want me to move the truck again? He said that isn't my job it your job, no it isn't I didn't put it on I'm not taking it off, that's your job. So now he is loud and I'm loud, the other guy that was there said I'm getting the manager, so she comes and takes the side of her crew and said did you pay to have it taken off. You didn't even asked what happened the the rudeness of you employees. Again I didn't put the car on and I will not take it off! So she said she was calling the cops, ok call them they are going to make you take the car off the dolly, I then called customer service and complain and going to call the other number she gave me and complain to corporate. So while I'm on the cell with customer service they unhook the car half way and tell me to take it off their dolly and leave property. Now my biggest problem is about to happen. I get into the car and try to drive it off and your professional uhaul employees didn't unhook my car and my car was damaged by the dolly being still attached to my car. I will now have to go to a competitor and get a truck and a storage locker, because I do not want any of my money to go to that location or your business in Lexington, Ky.

The person who checked us in was not friend, and she was not wearing a mask, which shocked me. It wasn't until after I finished checking in that she told me there was an option to check in online. Also, during the check-in process, I had to answer all the same questions (name, email, phone, driver's license, etc.) that I'd entered when I first made my reservation. Why the redundancy?

I tried to let the front office my unit was clean and ready for rental but was placed on hold twice and no one every came back to my call. I finally cancelled my unit prior to my 30 day free offer but was charged the next month anyway. Keypad was always broken and I had to wait for someone to open the main door for me. there needs to be a map of the facility on the outside. i didn't know where my unit was, because the inside units are labeled (the outside of the building didn't have any identifying marks) so i had to go back and ask for help re: which building??? only to come back AGAIN. because there was a lock on the unit. the rep advised me that locks are kept on the empty units. ok cool. but they already saw me, the same day, to purchase a unit. they saw me when i had to come back to ask where the unit was. and then a 3rd time to ask to unlock it. plus with the restrictions they stated that only ONE customer can be in the store at a time. i had to wait a very long time each time just to go in there to ask these questions. i did attempt to contact the 800 number. but the only thing they could do was tell me someone would call me back. which never happened.

There was 1 customer at a time in the store. I completely understand this is the new norm. But, that meant 1 person would take on average 10 mins to be served. Once, I got my storage unit there was on outside map to figure out where to find my unit. For all units inside....there's no way to find it besides asking. So, I had to go back and wait in line & they told me it was attached to the building. Again the garage like door was closed. Why not open it when they knew I was going to be moving? Finally got the garage like door open. Ok, now there's a padlock on the unit. Had to go back and wait in line to have them remove the padlock. There needs to be someone handling stuff outside and someone inside. So much time wasted trying to figure out where everything was.
