I was really discouraged about your national special to “get a free month of storage with any truck rental”, it was even plastered on the truck I rented, but when I asked about it, I was told it only applied to one way rentals. Regardless, the storage facility was extremely nice and easy to access, and the truck rental went off without a hitch. Your self-service tools are groundbreaking, and it definitely makes me want to use you again.

Truck wasn't setup for 24/7, had to go to other uhaul location then back to this location. Phone app wasn't working, employee had to process. Finally get to house and word lock was on bay door, wasn't given a call and had to call uhaul store to figure out code. Wasn't sure. Wasted a lot time time waiting on usual.

Your moisture control issues and your pest control issues have damaged many of my furniture items and several of my landscaping equipment items. On top of that me living states away I requested for my payment date to be a specific date on several different occasions and was entirely ignored by the management and the team. I paid almost $4 000 for one year of storage and you let all of my stuff get water damage and moisture damage and mouse poop all over it. I'm very disappointed and will never use U-Haul storage again.

I was informed that the lock and key would be waiting in the unit. I was out of state, and I hired a driver to drop off my items there. When he arrived, there was no lock and key in the unit. I called the number provided, and the person I spoke to treated this like it wasn't an issue, and I should've known. My driver had to drive to a different location to get the lock and key, which added to the milage and time I had to pay him for. In the when I'm done with this transaction, I don't plan to use your service again.

The new storage facilities employee isn't knowledgeable or hardly able to be found. There's often debris left around and not having an on-site employee available makes situations difficult

We were charged the first months rent of 194 even though we had qualified for free month of storage. No one at uhaul has been helpful with getting this taken care of yet.

Girls were rude and customer service was horrible... sold me a unit in the understanding it was 24 hour needed it asap.. pay go to use the pin and it doesn't work go through an hour run around with them trying to get it figured out only to find out they weren't allowed to sell me a 24 hour storage to begin with... I call the site manager at 730 pm 4 times in a row no answer and then I just say I want my money back and they then say they can't do that either now I have to wait until Monday to get the refund and still have no access to any storage

Left 10 to 15 messages with manager following my brothers death in July, my brother was the one that had storage unit. Manager never returned a single phone call. Paid twice for Oct. Unit cleaned out 9/30/2021. Manager never called me to discuss refund. Even went in to store and was told they would ensure he called. Still never did.

Confirmation email and customer service said location is 24/7 that is the only reason I paid more to go to u haul and not a different storage place. The location is NOT 24/7 per the uhaul store location. Thinking about discontinuing service and NEVER using uhaul again.

I specifically booked this location as it stated 24/7 access online. When we arrived at the location, the access code did not work. I called the posted after hours number for the GM and left a voicemail, and received no response. I sent an email to the GM stating the inability to access a unit I had already paid for & to have no after hours assistance was unacceptable. My husband went to the main location for a gate key to be told by the GM. "Oh, that facility hasn't been 24/7 for a couple of years. Your access code will work now because the facility is open & there is a person on site." So, what about the vehicle that entered while we were trying to reach you for help? "Oh, some renters were grandfathered in & still have 24/7 access." We tried to call the after hours number for help. "Oh, that's my work number & we closed at 5 pm." I have yet to receive a response to my voicemail nor my email. Customer service received, non existent. This man did not care that we had specifically booked this facility for access we did not get and blamed the website for having wrong information, for two years? He took no responsibility for the incorrect information, nor our inconvenience for not being able to access the facility. Never even apologized. Worst self storage experience to date.

The location does not have anyone available working there so there were signs stating I could access everything online but after several failed attempts I had to drive to another location to initiate move in. The staff was friendly and helpful but it was difficult to get it started.

The app is horrible I will never rent a uhaul using the mobile way again. It took me 1,5 hours to get my uhaul since nothing was working right. Then no matter what I tried the lock would not come off the back. Then dropping it off again the app would not work.

I have gone in to the store three time to give my address. So as you look at my profile. You will fine that the address you got on file is not what an address should be. What I mean is you have me as. Apt 45 Apt / STR 92 at the end of my address. Which explains a lot on how your staff may be over worked. Rushing though trying to help so many customers. Hope you fine this helpful. I do expect to see some changes the next time I use your services. Thank you have a great day.

Horrible web site. People have to make up for the bad web site. Get rid of marketing, you do not need the group everyone knows uhaul. Get an actual humane person to design web site. One that actually knows people and has empathy for people.

I used the truck for about two hours in and out and was charged a cleaning fee of $25 when the truck was clearly clean and in the same shape it was when I rented the truck so I'm a bit upset about that part.

I ended up paying an entire month's rent for one week of storage. I feel like that is something that could be pro-rated by U-Haul. It would be a terrific PR move and would not cost them a thing.

Access needs to be 24hrs! It was difficult to get in and out at the right times because I work. And it SUCKS GETTING TRAPPED INSIDE GATE BECAUSE YOUR 1 MINUTE PAST CLOSING.

Hard to get ahold of anyone on the phone or in the office. I observed a guy using a grinder/saw (saw sparks flying and heard noise). I tried to call and report to Uhaul and finally called 911 to report. Some suspicious activity in the evenings.

Luckily an employee was there as the online checkout the night before ended up being a complete cluster. Jamal was a terrible rep, unhelpful and very difficult to work with. Your online process is really horrible. If you have that service, have all the info done before the customer gets to take the vehicle. I spent an extra half hour dealing with Jamal. Finally I gave up and the amazingly professional woman inside had me on my way in five minutes. She was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to get me going.

It was incredibly warm in the facility and had an overwhelming chemical odor. Also, I rented a 5×5 unit and due the the pest bait and the studs protruding into the unit it was quite a bit smaller.

the equipment we used was not stellar... the ride was very bumpy. Getting help on the phone was horrible. We had to wait over 20 minutes each time we needed help. We were on our last bar before we could get hooked up to our vehicle. Your site is not very helpful. They need to tell you upfront to make an acct. to go through the process. We got locked in our storage and if it wasn't for someone else that was in there and gave us his code we'd still be there! When we arrived at the drop off at 5 pm they were closed. We had to wait 20 minutes to get an assistant to help us get the truck turned in..( she was very helpful and patient with us as we were fried...so heads up for your people when you finally get a hold of them). and this is after a long 7 hour drive and then unloading a 26 ft truck! You are pretty much the only place in town... and I hear you advertising for more help... you need it... especially with so many people on the move these days... I hope you work on the help needed after they've rented your equipment. It makes the whole experience much better and makes us want to recommend you to others. We thank you for the help that you were for us in a very stressful time for us.

The building wasn't properly marked to show from our vehicle that the unit was, in fact, inside the bldg. We drove in circles for a while. We had to go inside to figure it out. But it's a great unit. Very happy!

The app was a nightmare to use. It too longer than seeing a representative, and it was broken for Android users. We couldn't take photos to document damage, fuel level, or odometer. We tried calling customer service but waited for 20 minutes on the line without help. Eventually we drove to another uhaul location for help. The crew at North division in Spokane were really great at helping us. Also, the uhaul was given to us with about 1/8 of a tank of gas which was also frustrating.

William at the Ligerwood location is absolutely fabulous. He is so knowledgeable and helpful and always had me taken care of with setting up and cancelling my reservation. Unfortunately I didn't have the same experience with some of the other employees, although they were always professional and kind, I don't believe they fully knew what they were doing and required more training, as I spoke to two other employees about cancelling my reservation/moving out of my unit, however only William successfully cancelled my reservation in "the system".

The app is trash, it's just the webpage with a border around it. The website is unresponsive on my phone; I had to click buttons multiple times, back out and try again, and resubmit information multiple times. Because of the website jank, I was not able to return the keys to the lockbox during the return process because the app decided to skip that page, so I had to contact the local office's offsite workers (none on-site because of covid) to return the keys properly. Aside from the app needing to be rebuilt my experience was great; being able to just show up and get into an F150 (first time driving a larger truck) was a great time, all of the processes such as picking up/dropping off would be a breeze if the app was optimized. I would still use the service again regardless of my issues.

It is quite unclear on the UHaul website when making a reservation for a particular space. Thinking we were on the 1st floor for self-storage, and was getting charged for it, we were put on the 2nd floor without any conversation. When making the reservation online there was "one unit left." When trying to talk with a staff member in customer service, they said that the reservation is for that "size" of the unit not the location, which is, frankly, confusing and less than desirable. This should be stated plainly when making a reservation online, easy to read. Otherwise, my spouse said the facility was good and the carts and elevator were helpful.

During our time of COVID-19, I was soooo impressed with the online agents that were able to facilitate my rental. Also, I had a rock chip occur while driving on I-90 and I purchased standard coverage with the extra $5 fee for possible emergent issues, totaling $19, and this covered the repair cost for the rock chip repair. At least I believe it has covered it, as I haven't heard anything further about the damage.

The only comment not positive is that I received a notice that my credit card had been charged for a unit somewhere in W. Washington; I brought it to their attention, didn't admit what happened.

No one was available to help. Very busy and long wait timeso I ended up leaving. My charges are very confusing. When I originally signed up on line the charges were to be $79 (+ -) when I turned the truck in no one was available and the office door was locked,even though it was during store hours. I left the truck there. At this time my cell phone was broken and I was unable to access my account etc. I called the 800 # and was given to 3 different people each giving me different information. When I finally reached someone at the store I was told my bill was $194,24 with a $44,43 credit. Quite a difference from the $79 I was quoted. As of today 11/13, I have been charged $194,24 with a $44,43 credit and another charge of $ 47.72. This seems extremely disorganized, unfair and very unprofessional. I will certainly question my use of UHaul, or recommending them to others in the future.

The inside of the truck was dirty, the gas light was on, and the store lied to me about the best price options. I was told it would be cheaper to drive the truck back to the city I rented it from vs leaving it in the city I was moving to. After talking to uhaul, I learned the store was just trying to screw me out of more money. I wasted 10 hours of my life driving there and back to return that truck. I now have a dispute open against them.

The key dropbox is too small. The key did not fit well at all. It was a serious struggle to get the key in and I had to remove the keyring. If there is another alternative for dropping the key there should be signage.

Before the app told me where to put the key, it asked me to rate the app, then closed the rental. I had no idea where to leave the key. The drop box opening was too small to fit the key fob. I waited in the cold outside on hold with uhaul for 20 minutes, I finally hung up. I specifically choose this location and return time of 7 pm because the location, closes at 7pm (according to the uhaul website). But the office was closed and had a sign that said it closed at 5pm. It also had a sign in the window saying they did not accept cash, which I'd like to mention is against the law. Cash is legal tender and must be accepted. I will never use this location again.

Check the tires!!! Once the truck was loaded it was evident the tire was leaking air, it had been slashed. It took uhaul over 2 hrs to have the tire replaced, then they told us to go to les schwab and have the lug nuts tightened as they didn't have the tool. We went into overtime with our movers and had to reschedule the movers on the other end of our move.

After I booked the reservation I was sent a link for moving help. I booked moving help and got confirmations and pay codes. When moving day came the help did not show up. Uhaul found me a random cell phone tied to the business and when I called he said they have been out of business for over a year. The listings need to be updated regularly because this was unacceptable though not the fault of the location we went to.

I drove that truck 12 miles and put 2 gallons of gas in it before I took it back. Then I was charged for 4 gallons. There's no way I used 6 gallons to drive 12 miles. Not even jet planes use that much fuel. This moving process is expensive enough without being nickel and dimed by a company we are supposed to be able to trust.

The reason that I came back was I had a good experience there two weeks ago. Friendly service fast so I was good with that but I'm very dissatisfied with giving charge for fuel when I brought it back with more gas limit had in it when I took it .I consider that stealing .

They rented me the wrong truck, did not pull up the right reservation and didn't verify my id before asking me to pay and giving me the keys for someone else's truck. Got my rental a half hour late bcuz of this location's shenanigans. Blankets weren't bagged either.

I wasn't advised that the location would be closed by the time I was returning the rig, the uhaul returns app malfunctioned so I couldn't initiate the return that way, called customer support and they couldn't initiate the return, spent 45 min in the parking lot trying to properly return the vehicle. I was also charged for a dolly but the dolly wasn't put in the truck like I was told it would be. This isn't my first experience with uhaul but so far it has been the worst. I called the store to make sure my truck was returned fully and I asked to be reimbursed for the dolly rental and was told that they would try their hardest to get it done by the same person that dropped the ball on everything to begin with so I'm not confident.
