The reps came to take the uhaul. They thought it was “stolen”. I just realized my sons PlayStation was stolen. They broke my daughters dollhouse and also my daughters desk. A lot of my personal items were put in the trash. Rep was very snotty

Upper level storage area needs more ceiling space for longer sofas. I had to take my sofa and put it on a friends back porch when I'm paying over $100 for one of your full storage units. I was not a happy customer. Also if customer late paying pmt, the red lock should come off the day they paid not the day the customer decides to come to storage (within the month). Couple times I paid late then waited to come get something out of my storage to find the red lock was still intact. I had to walk all the way back outside in the cold go to office and inquire about. I was not a happy customer. With that being said, Neither will I NEVER recommend your storage units to anyone nor will I do business with you again.

Know where your trailers are. I was given a trailer that was a different # than what was on my paperwork. Made me a bit nervous, but it worked out ok. I had to circle the building twice and wait for 5-10 minutes to be given a trailer. I had registered before coming to the store. Not a big deal, but took a lot longer to get my rental than expected. The worker was helpful and kind. He tried his best to find the right trailer.

We had reserved an appliance dolly - they didn't have one, but told me that a utility dolly was basically the same - which they are not. No one walked out to our truck with us, we had to wander through the parking lot and figure out which truck was ours. The truck was filthy. I used this rental location a little over a year ago and the service was fantastic. The service I received this past weekend was sub par at best. I was incredibly disgusted with the lack of professionalism displayed by the entire staff.

Information! We were not advised to take pictures, we were not advised that we would be charged for not following the rules that we were not told. They had trouble checking us in and after we turned the keys at the drop off we then realized we were supposed to send pictures of different areas of the truck otherwise we would be charged $20 surcharge! When we picked it up it was not a full tank it was “5/8” full, how in the world are we supposed to fill up and when we overfill then we do not get a refund?! Not impressed

First, the truck was not filled with fuel. I picked it up with just over a quarter tank. Second, CEL was on and when the unit down shifted it would cause it to surge forward unexpectedly. Luckily, I wasn't near other vehicles when it happened the first time. The left front wheel bearing squealed the whole time we had it as well. However, the driver's area was my greatest concern. While we were loading my son was gaming in the cab. He is 10. He found a computer mouse in the cab and wanted to take it apart. It wasn't mine and was useless without the key so I said he could. I found it strange he would find it in a clean unit but whatever. On the way back however a glass one hitter pipe rolled out from under the seat that had clearly been used. Which prompted a conversation with my 10 year old I would have liked to have later. Anyway.... frustrating day with my U-Haul.

Include the insurance in the price automatically. Or better yet, start accepting people's regular car insurance as insurance. I was told when I rented the truck that if I didn't purchase the insurance and got in an accident, uhaul wouldn't even take the time to get with my insurance company, they would just automatically take the amount of damages directly out of my account. I think this is ludicrous. Also I feel like I was gipped on gas. I was told to fill it back up to full because that's where it was when I picked it up. But when I got gas it took 12,5 gallons to get to full. When I calculated the miles I went with the approximate MPG the truck gets, I should've only had to put 8 gallons in, not 12.5. I got ripped off on at least 4 gallons of gas. I've rented with uhaul before and it's always been a positive one before today. But the last time before today was a few years back. Why has the price gone up? It cost me $114 for the rental today when it used to cost me about $70

Don't lose my checks, charge me a late fee, or threaten me with losing my storage unit when you can't find my check. Then miraculously find my check after you charge me a late fee. Happened on at least 5 different occasions. The manager there has always been standoffish and hard to contact. Maybe fix that. The last set of employees I ran into were a bunch of kids who lack customer service skills. Maybe fix that. I'm very glad I no longer have a unit there because now I can relax that my things won't get taken from me as threatened.

The lot was completely full. I had no where to park. The guy moving trucks around would not help me. He only motioned for me to go forward when I tried to ask him where to park. Forward was the exit out of the lot. When I found a place it was clearly marked not to park here but I did not see any other options and no one was helpful. I tried to tell the guy at the desk and he stayed well he's having a bad morning. My partner had asked the same guy moving trucks around the lot if he had seen me and he was rude and said you mean the one who doesn't know how to park. When I went to leave I confronted the rude guy and he said he was never rude. I explained the nice customer service thing to do would have been to get out of his truck and tell me where I could park. He never apologized and only got argumentative stating he wasn't rude.

The motion detection light is loose and pointing up so the hall is dark, making accessing my locker a bit of a pain in the butt. Everything is dark.

It would have been nice if the guy connecting the auto transport trailer had mentioned that the driver's side fender needs to be flipped down before loading the car. I didn't even know it could be flipped down to allow the door to open, and had to climb out the window.

Train your employees. Guys didn't know that a one-way rental rate was the same even though I had scheduled to drop the dolly off at another location. Obviously need more experience or Uhaul needs better training.

Online reservation was a joke. Wanted me to drive to Ft. Wayne from Lima,Oh to get my rental. Had no idea . Kyle was great at Lima location. Was very helpful, friendly and a smile. The other young man handled the returns quickly , friendly and smiled. It seemed all at once they were very busy. Both did an Excellent taking care of the customers to make the wait shorter. Give them a raise!

The biggest problem I had was the secuirty system. I had sevearal episodes where my card wouldn't allow me access and I'd have to go to the office to get a new card so I could get in.

Storage facility was old and unit was on 2nd floor with no AC or cargo elevator! So if you are looking to haul all your stuff up a flight of steps, down a dim, narrow hallway, and then up a foot or two into a storage unit where you are greeted with rat poison and a bent latch, this is your spot! Staff was slow, borderline incompetent and just spectacularly unhelpful. It took an hour of discussion back and forth with manager to replace a nonfunctional keycard, despite the account holder being present. They told us to call corporate which had an hour wait time. Never received final bill, which seems very high, and then had to email them after a week to get them to close out the move-out request. Just don't ignore this review! Rent some place, any place else!! I will never darken the door of a Uhaul facility as long as I live after this miserable experience.

When I called about getting a storage unit I was told it could fit a 2-3 bedroom house. When I got there it could not fit that many bedrooms. I could not use it. Had to cancel it. And called around for a different storage unit, luckily I found one.

The customer service and everything else was immaculate but the storage size was not up to par. Their largest size storage was the size of a medium sized closet with low entrance and will not hold or fit large items such as couches, mattresses, and box springs. For smaller storage such as totes and boxes this would be perfect but that was not what I was looking for.

Was not well lit. Had to vigorously wave arms to get light to come on and it still didn't go on till we were walking out. Storage unit was very dark at all times. Large pipe running through the middle of it that I hit my head on several times, must be a known issue due to it being wrapped in foam which helped but still made moving anything very difficult. Late fees are outrageous, in one month its the same as the rent for the unit making it nearly impossible to catch up and not lose your belongings.

I stored my belongings for 6 months, was concerned about the condition they would be in when I finally moved my furniture and boxes to my new home. I was pleasantly surprised to find them clean, no dampness or bugs at all!! Thank you UHaul for taking such good care of your facility and consequently my things!

The reason I didn't think the ACCESS HOURS were good for me was because I was not aware of the extra $5 to pay to be able to gain entry anytime. I had to wait for your store hours to open before I could gain access to the storage so that was a bit of a problem for me, but other than that, you all were great! May GOD continue to Bless you all!
