Consuelo P.I paid for a utility dolly and 1 dozen moving blankets. Was told everything was ready to go. Once I got home there supplies were not there. I called but they could not deliver them. I had loaders ready to go with no dolly. Had to send a friend to pick up the supplies which caused a delay in the move.
Donald S.I wouldn't change a thing. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. While waiting my turn in line, I observed an interaction with one clerk with some customers with a large box order and listened as she patiently explained the sizes, features and prices of each. She then proceeded to ask if they needed packing material or tape. Meanwhile, another employee was observed wiping down then entire counter area, keyboards and telephones etc. I was unfamiliar with the rental process with respect to my phone interaction. My clerk walked me through it without hesitation, annoyance or being condescending. She then directed me to the car hauler that I needed, made all of the necessary connections, insured that I was comfortable, took a picture of my rig/connections (for liability I presume) and thanked me for my patronage. In short, I received the customer service that I would like to receive but didn't truly expect. As a result, I was pleasantly surprised, very pleased and will certainly rent again from this branch in the future.

Steve P.I turned the truck back in saturday evening 4/30/2022. It is now monday 5/2/2022. I am still waiting for the transaction to process so I can get my money back that was held when I picked the truck up and this is an inconvenience. I feel the final transaction should be processed within 24 hours.

Mark P.Tried to rent a cargo van from another location closer to home four days in advance. They called me day of to delay by 2 hours, which I agreed to. Then when I showed up they still didn't have the van. Family member let me know about this location and I switched to this store. They had the van, handled the software issues that came up, and I was still able to make my appt to pick up my new stuff on time! Will definitely be coming back.

Michael B.I reserved 8am contactless puck up. Movers were at my house at 830. When i checked in it showed i had to wait until 9am for a person. Kevin was excellent and when he realized what was going on made sure to open early and help me out. Only problem was i was an hour late getting truck and had to pray movers and extra 85$ for the wait. Overall i feel like I should be reimbursed for the issue.

I had my trailer reserved for 3 months ahead of time & was called two days before and they switched the location. Then they called AGAIN the day of & switched it to another location. Then once we picked it up we were informed that the drop off location had changed too! Unorganized to say the least.

ANTHONY LYNN S.The experience was terrible. The vehicle was banged up and dirty. I left with under a quarter tank of gas. We took the vehicle an extra day and knew we would have extra charges and fine with it. When we got back they said it was 5/6 of a tank which was a lie. The man that was helping was clueless but put me $56 dollars extra which I was fine with. After he talked to FRE who was an absolute nightmare from the start it magically went up to 75 extra. I asked and said if I don't like I can call uhaul with a loud tone. I didn't understand why she can't getting loud with me when I was being calm the entire. Not only this experience was horrible when I was trying to get the uhaul was terrible. I went in and she was getting an attitude with me from the start and wouldn't leave her chair. The man who was new kept asked for a contact information to call someone. The last experience I had they never did this which was funny because he was the one who helped me. I Ws literally just asking if it was a new thing and she jumped in its uhaul and the person who helped you probably was just lazy. I didn't appreciate her throwing someone under the bus in front of the customer, incredibly unprofessional. Then my card wasn't working on their card reader, they explained it was my card and I told her the money is 100 % in there, she rudely responded with “how much money do you have in your account?†I was dumbfounded she asked me this. I responded the money is definitely in there. I tried my debit card afterwards and it still didn't work. She then responded with “the money probably ain't in there and it ain't our systems. You have to go to the atm.†People like Fre should not be working With the public and has set a bad representation of U-Haul. I'm district manager for my career and someone like her would never be hired let alone represent my company. I will not do business with so-Haul after this let alone recommend to any friends or family. Thank you U-Haul for horrible experience I had to deal with.
JUSTIN MICHAEL R.Never got my money back paid cash the radio didn't work the gas wasn't where they said it was and when I came back to return it I was met with a rude manager that took 20 minutes to come inside from being on her phone in her car just to tell me I had to wait 45 minutes to an 1hour to return my rental which makes no sense so I put the key in the drop box and left still haven't received my change from the balance

KATHERINE DENISE G.you really need to pay attention to sizes of trailers. The size that is stamped on trailer is not the true size! if it wasn't for me taking an actual measurement of the trailer, my project would have been a flop! you could tell the difference in size just by looking at two trailers that have stamped the same size. I was then charged a few more bucks for getting what i actually wanted? no big deal but still. Please check your light bulbs and replace as needed.
BRUNO NICOLA M.I had to take all my furniture to the dump. It was covered in mouse urine and feces. I am so upset and will not not be able to recoup my losses for my new house anytime soon. I thought this was a great place to store my belongings but I was definitely wrong!!

Must have been on a video call because he actually had me waiting while he got his phone to stand up using the keyboard so the woman on the other end could see him. This was around 10 / 10:05. He made me feel so uncomfortable and it was like I was interrupting his personal life. I have never felt so disrespected!!!

The door that you have to go into has no lights so basically somebody could be standing there and you wouldn't even see them. I didn't feel comfortable because the door is in a alley with no lights. Had only one employee working the Dass had once I found that my unit had a lock on it I had to wait over a half an hour for service.

The computer system was so slow that even though my vehicle was pre- reserved/registered, it took nearly 45 minutes to process my vehicle/ storage rental. The App continually went down so I could neither verify pre-rental or do the online return. Again Free was there to assist. I needed a larger storage unit than you had available and needed to move to another facility.i also needed a second truck. Dealing with the second location and with 800 rep was so frustrating. The unit I reserved online was not actually available. I was actually sent to yet a 3rd location but gave up and located a closer facility operated by a competitor. (I couldn't get a call back to verify that the unit was indeed available). We were able to return to the Lincoln Park office to return our trucks and again I have already been here 40 minutes awaiting my return documents (and refund for the unneeded lock). BUT: Free has apologized for the delay and is doing what she can to help me. (While teaching all the other team members?) I can only imagine what a dynamo she would be, if the technology could keep up with her.
