Waited an hour in line to get truck. Truck was not as clean as it should be and probably soon to be replaced. Everything was operable. I also have to take in to consideration all that the pandemic has brought to business and the short distance I used the truck. I have used this location before and probably use it again. Once I made it to the front of the line, the cashier was very professional and helped me out to my satisfaction.Charles B.

This U-Haul location has been good to me for every move over these last 5 years. From storage units to trucks, the experience is pleasant and the people do a good job.Apryl L.
The folks working at this location were overwhelmed and disorganized. Even though we had already followed the online instructions for check-in, it still took over an hour to wait in line. They had walk-in customers that they ultimately had to turn away but took 45 minutes to do so, forcing folks who did have reservations and were checked in online to wait.James H.

Need to number one answer the phone I don't understand how you can never get through to the actual location. And when you do go there you've got to have more help every time I got in line for whatever service I was waiting a minimum of 30 to 45 minutes that's not acceptable. Once you get up there everybody is very helpful but people just do not have time to wait like that and trust me they were very lots of irritated people there in the last couple daysThat being said the experiences that I had with Allies attic were horrible!!!NICHOLLE W.

I had the wrong truck left for me. My reservation was for a specific numbered truck, but the padlock code would not work on said truck. So, I tried the code on another truck, and it worked!Jacob L.

On a saturday morning, the line was ridiculously long with very little help at the desk. I had to wait over 1 hour for the employees to finally start processing my reservation and getting me the truck. Maybe it's not as bad during the week but the unexpected wait totally defeats the purpose of having a reservation for a specific time. The actual truck was great and clean, dropping it off went smoothly as well.Nathan C.
When picking up the truck, they did not have the furniture pads that I reserved over a month prior to the pick up date. Luckily, a customer behind me in line had some in his truck that he did not need so the issue was resolved. Also, the speed of customer service was a snails pace when trying to pick up the truck. Upon drop-off, the crew arrived to my truck immediately and was very efficient in the processing, so no complaints there.TRAVIS R.

It took us over 40 minutes in line and with the owner before we had our cargo van and could go start our move (and we had a reservation). I understand there is a lot of paperwork / questions involved but they were not in the least bit organized or efficient. It was like it was all new to them (and the owner was the one helping us). I would avoid this location if possible. On a side note, we started at the Quaker Rd location and the office reeked so badly of cat urine we could not stay inside.Kimberly C.

I reserved and pre checked-in online and still had to wait an hour to get a truck. They didn't have the one I ordered even though I reserved it at least 4 days in advance. When the employee asked for my secondary contact info, he called them right away without asking or telling me he was doing so and I noticed that when the customer next to me gave his secondary contact to the employee, they did not call his secondary contact at all. The truck was great but I did not appreciate the difference in treatment between myself and the other customer, nor did I like waiting for an hour.Logan D.

The times got changed by email. First the pod was to come on one date and that was changed. Then when it got here, it was to be picked up on one date and that got changed. Eventually the original date was the date it was picked up. the dates should be set and not moved.Judy W.

Truck was late and the original contract mileage was off by over 40000 miles. If I had not checked I don't know what would have happened. But why didn't they check? Hood was not latched and truck was in bad repair.Cesario T.

I was overcharged on mileage quite a bit. The starting mileage was off. I contacted customer service and the issue was corrected. The wait time for customer service was over forty minutes. That is way too high.Thomas B.

I reserved a 20 foot truck weeks in advance. On the day I was to pick it up all the sudden no trucks were available but a 15 foot truck for the following day. I had no choice but to be a day behind with a smaller truck. I moved 7 hours away 2 trips were not in question. I had to leave items behind. Yet as I was packing the smaller uhaul I checked online again and a 26 foot truck was available 20 miles down the road they never told me about. They did nothing for my inconvenience and again I am now left without some of my furniture. Thanks uhaul.ASHLEY C.

Everyone was very professional and the truck was in excellent shape. The only problem I have is that the truck was only available for 5 hours, yet I was charged a full daily rate. I think since ai couldn't have it for a whole day it should have been pro-rated. Merci!LARRY J.

I was very happy with this transaction, HOWEVER, I rented a trailer for 2 days on 5/7/21 and returned it after 1 day, I was not refunded the other day as I was told. On 5/14/21 I rented a trailer for 24 hours and took it back after 4 hours, I don't know if there should be a refund or not, but I would appreciate knowing in an email.ELIZABETH F.

Server crashed. Automatic door doesn't work. Reservation disappeared when I reached the location. Had to go back and come back the next day. Staff was kind enough to add an extra month - no charge. Chandler saved the day! Checking out of our storage unit, Chandler was kind and very helpful. Checking in was horrible, whoever helped me was rude, didn't help at all, didn't explain anything! After the initial showing up, returning my rental 600 $you would think they would be courteous and helpful but it was the opposite! The storage unit itself is way overpriced for what we got, and in poor shape. Chandler at the end was the really only good point. And the actual pick up of the rental in Austin ATX. They were very nice and helpful. We've used u haul many times, paid a lot of money to them. We have stored our college student's belongings at U-Haul every summer. This year, we stored longer due to leaving early because of the Pandemic. Move-in was very easy. Move-out was delayed when we discovered a small number of "baby" roaches crawling around some our boxes and seeming to come from a neighboring unit. I believe the roaches were a new addition in our 5 month of storing items. Just beware that while U-Haul does all it can (spraying for bugs, etc.), storage neighbors may not be as conscientious or even aware they have a pest problem. Our move-out took an extra hour and a half since we went through everything thoroughly looking for "baby" roaches and repacking in vacuum zipper bags.RONDA S. | Expérience générale

Brandon was very friendly and so was anyone else we came into contact. The problem was when I 1st rented the unit I told the lady exactly what I needed and the 8x8x6 was not big enough. We also rented a unit that was refrigerated and it was hot in there. So I had to rent a 2nd unit.diane v. | Expérience générale
Your questions above are deceiving. Of course people can be friendly, but not know what they are doing. The first employee who helped me, could not figure out the computer system. I had to give personal information, and list references for the employee, at least three times. A second employee got involved, and also could not help me because he could not figure out how to list the references properly. Nearly an hour later it was only a third employee, who could finally figure out how to help me and get me out of the store. Quite simply it was the most awful customer service I have ever received at any time at any storage facility in my entire life. The above questions, asking people to rate certain criteria from one star to five stars, does not allow proper evaluation of how poorly my experience went. I am keeping the unit, because it is close to my home and convenient. But if I had the choice I would've just dropped the entire transaction, and gone to a different U-Haul location. I lost several boxes of possessions to a huge termite infestation. I only used this location for six months. The original reservation for a larger room was not honored, so I had to use 2 smaller rooms, and the infestation occurred in the non-climate controlled room I was forced to use.
