I highly recommend this location. They had a wide selection of trucks and trailers available and a very nice facility. The customer service was outstanding , making the entire process stress free. I was renting an enclosed trailer due to a family emergency and had no trouble reserving and picking up the trailer.

Truck was crap. Windshield filthy. The steering wheel had a lot of play, no cruise control! Floor was so hot it ruined my food. I HATE when you give it to me not fully fueled. You get free gas from what way. There's a gas station right next door. Plus, you could be friendly?

After a 12 hour day of moving, we showed up, expecting per the email sent to me, that my lock would be waiting inside the unit- and it wasn't. So had to pack the unit then hunt in 3 stores for a lock. Very frustrating.

The retail location was top notch. Easy check in and return. The only problem was the reservation thru the app. It would not accept 2 different credit cards in spite of double checking info was entered correctly. Ended up calling to make the reservation.

I requested a trailer to move my compact tractor to Texas. The trailer was too big. They didn't care and threatened to charge me more to not take it to Texas. This is pretty disappointing.

Drop off worker was rude, curt, negative and very unpleasant. Tried to say things nicely 2 or 3 times and got nothing but angry comments or looks and rude responses, very surprised. Hope he and all of you have better days ahead as life is good and we all should very grateful to be here and be working hard and appreciate kindness to one another. It was a sad experience.

The entire staff was Awesome! I received professional and courteousrtious service. The facility was clean and well maintained. It was a busy morning, however, the General Manager, and his staff moved us through the check out process, efficiently and professionally. Thank you for a great experience!

The store smelled, there was no gas in the truck,. The clerks had no clue what they were doing, and I was given several different costs by different people and charged incorrectly. After repeated efforts to try to explain why the charge was incorrect, and not getting through to the clerk I finally just gave up, I accepted the incorrect charge and left. I still haven't got my refund from the early return. I will not recommend this store. I am extremely disappointed and I will never use your service again.

The gentleman at the counter was very disgruntled with the amount of activity and was extremely overwhelmed. He did not stop complaining about the number of people coming on and his verbal expressions were unprofessional and made everyone around him uncomfortable. I think he should have a customer service and client relations refresher training.

I picked up a vehicle from the Jacksonville location on San Jose. To take it one way to the Melbourne store on Babcock Road. Melbourne to Jacksonville is 161 miles. I picked the vehicle up on Tuesday at 1:30 and return the vehicle on Wednesday at 5:30. The odometer read that I went 500 miles with the vehicle which is an impossibility. I'm explained that to the agent that's checking in. The agent that I picked the vehicle up from Jacksonville we didn't we did not check the odometer before I left. Call the other store in Jacksonville to explain to them that I could that went 500 miles with the vehicle. They stayed to me that whatever the odometer read, that's what I would get charged. I know it's my responsibility to check the odometer before I leave But there's no way I went 500 miles from Jacksonville to Melbourne. No one on either side the Jacksonville office or the Mel office took my concern. Seriously they thought I was trying to not pay for the extra miles that I didn't travel. This is very poor customer service.

I would recommend this location and Uhaul to a friend however, it should be noted, the truck I had felt as if it has not been maintained in some while. It gave quirky transmission issues like having to try multiple times to get it to go in gear which each time it did and drove fine until it didn't. I was unable to complete my move because the truck began making an absolutely horrible, frightening, blaring noise from under the truck when I would let off the gas. It was very scary, and I drove the truck straight back to Uhaul after consulting with Uhaul corporate via the 800 number. I called and reported the issue so Uhaul would not just give it to someone else. It was a freighting experience. But, I know vehicles are not perfect in the rental world and overall am still appreciative for the availability and close location.

Everything was fine besides the silent treatment Mr. Bradley gave my family and I. Seems to be a toxic workplace as the staff are afraid of this man (I heard him screaming at his staff over a lost key). My experience is pleasant up until you reach the attitude the staff give you up front and I believe it trickles down because of this man. Clean facilities if you don't mind the smell. Poor customer service. Stay away from staff if you're trying keep a good day from going sour. They are not friendly here.

When I got there one of the staff members told me that the 10 ft trucks were not available. Even though there was 5 of them sitting there. So he said the only choice we had was a bigger truck. But when we came back 4 hours later to return the bigger truck there was 7/ 10 footers sitting there.

When I went to start placing items in my unit July 9 found that my card did not work. Learned that someone had canceled our account because there was nothing in the unit. Staff were very helpful. Reestablished the account and was able to start placing items in it. Restarted our free month to July 9. Don't know why it was canceled but staff on hand were quick to correct.

Staff not friendly including Bernard in particular. The facility itself is very nice. This was my first time using storage. Minimal information was provided and I had to ask many questions. My wife asked one of the staff a question and he looked at her but did not answer! We got a clear feeling that our business was not appreciated, like we were a bother to them. I would not use this location again.

The only issue I experienced was the lack of cameras on the property. Someone bumped into my new 2023 Honda Civic and scratched the paint off my door. I looked around and did not see any cameras pointed towards my car, which was located to the right of the ramp for dolly's. I do plan on visiting the SM to see if they have cameras pointed at my car, as that would help figure out who damaged the paint on my car door.

Everything that was in the storage was covered in mold and inches of dust. The guy who worked at the counter for us to get the U-Haul before we moved out was rude the day we moved the stuff in and was even more rude the day we moved things out. He seems miserable and hateful and that he genuinely hates his job. He continuously cut me off every time I spoke, complained over and over again that he was the only one in the office and treated us like we were in extreme inconvenience.

UHAUL Moving & Storage of Mandarin (San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville FL ) UHAUL Mandarin has it all! A massive variety of trucks, vans, hitches…a gigantic three-story storage facility, and excellent customer service! The Customer Care Center has every type and style of box, tape, packing materials, useful tools, etc. Multiple times, I have rented trucks, bought store items, and used their storage facility. The staff is always kind, personable, efficient and knowledgeable (I am not exaggerating). Moving is always stressful - and the staff members remain calm under pressure. They pinpoint what is needed and quickly resolve any issues. The General Manager, Mr. Bernard Bradley, keeps his eye on every activity and is constantly zooming from one work area to another. He runs "a tight ship" at all times. Mr. Bradley was so kind to go out of his way to make my UHAUL experience a positive one. I appreciate him so much! If UHAUL Corporate gives out General Manager Awards - he certainly deserves one! THANK YOU UHAUL!!!

When I mentioned there was mold all over my mattress, couch, and pictures in storage, I was told all ground floor units have mold and mildew, to which I did not respond well. UHaul should tell people NOT to rent the non-climate controlled units for the high cost if they need to store more than 30 days, and to fumigation fir mold on their own because UHaul doesn't do that between rentals.

All of my stuff is covered with in Mold. This facility is trash. They have never once had the vent/exhaust fans on the entire year I used their facility.The customer service there is the worst. I have always used uhaul and this by far was the worst experience ever! Their was no air circulating or anything. I understand I didn't use a climate controlled unit, however I have never used one because the facilities had the fans on. They are in place for a reason. I lost so much of my stuff because of this.

In all almost all cases of my experience with Uhaul I have found that the staff is less than friendly. Not sure if this is a result of stress but I was always disappointed in dealing with the staff each time. Other than that Uhaul was great. Equipment and Facilities I had no issues with.

I rented a uhaul truck on my moving day 9/17 only to find out that the elevator was broken which meant that I was unable to empty my storage and got no help from the office staff regarding when it would be fixed or if there would be a discount due to the broken elevator.

My unit was located on the third floor and the elevator is out of service. I checked in the office to show my insurance policy, no mention of elevator not working. We unloaded on to the ONE cart and went to go upstairs, no elevator. I had to reload things back in my truck, go back inside and ask about the situation. I had a stove, dishwasher and other large heavy items in which it was not humanly possible for me to move up to the third floor by stairs. I had to request a refund of my payment.

My experience with the truck rental service was very bad. They canceled my reservation without notifying me and that cost me extra 15 miles more since I had to look for a truck in another location and the store didn't recognize this money . Facility reeks of urine and mold. And there is a rodent problem. Actually saw a rodent run ouf of my unit. Staff origianlly denied that they had a problem upon initially checking in to the unit. Furniture was damaged by mold and the stench of urine. Staff very unaccommodating and reluctant to give access to management. One staff member actually removed his name badge when I explained the problem and asked to speak with the supervisor. Will never use or reccomend U-Haul again.

But I wouldn't recommend U Haul. You changed my pick up location 3 times! The last location added an extra three hours onto my driving day. The people at the location were great, but the U Haul Company in a whole is terrible. Long, long, long wait times on the phone, changing pick up and drop off locations, it was madding!

I arrived late on a Sunday to end my contract. I had to wait 20 minutes to talk to a representative. He said that was very upset he was not going to be able to leave at 5:00pm when the store closed. I had an issue that I did not have my key card to get into the storage facility to remove my lock I thought there would be a walk through process and I would remove my lock then. I walked outside when I realized I needed to get my lock. This same representative was outside helping another guest I asked was there any way for me to get inside to get my lock and was told I would have to come back another day. This was very frustrating as I had already been paying for an empty unit for over a month and just wanted to get lock to be completely vacated. Another representative ended up letting me in and I was able to get my lock.

I rented storage for apps 8 months and had rented 2 more trips in that period after moving stuff to an apartment, l realized a suite case that had a medical device for Lymphedema treatment was missing. So I decided to go back and check the unit in case it was left inside. I had one additional day left on my rental, their was a green tag secured. So I went to the office and explained to the person and they said that I had moved out so it was green tagged, my question was I had this and an additional day left on my paid rental and mentioned the suite case with medical device was missing, he replied there was nothing in the unit and was not concerned of medical device missing.

Very good experience with UHaul storage. We used the storage unit for 12 months and it was clean and the halls were well lit. Our unit was not lit but it was sufficient to see inside from the hall lights. They have many carts to use that are included. My only complaint was that I received 3 late charges after going on autopay . That was resolved and the penalties dropped.

I have experience with Extra Space in Brandon FL. Access to their facility is via unique access code. Access to this Uhaul facility is via unique card (one card). This limits flexibility for access by my family. We have to coordinate who has the card in order to gain access to the facility and unit.

Moved because so many UHaul Trucks block all but one or two spaces at loading docks. Too congested with rental vehicles. Found another facility that is more accessible and much less expensive!

I have 5 kids and have moved them into college and from college with U-Haul from Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Gainesville. Also U-Haul was involved with moving my parents down sizing and eventually assisted living. U-Haul Moving & Storage Of Mandarin is the best U-Haul franchise I have experienced They are very professional and helpful, even for some of us that have not backed a trailer up in awhile. I would whole hardly recommend .

Helpful if 3rd floor lighting would stay on longer. When working at unit the lights would go out about every 15 minutes and had to keep walking all the way down the hall to get them to therm on again. Kind of annoying. Everything else was perfect!

I rented a trailer from them and they double charged me. I moved out before my next months rent was due and they never took me out of the system and sent me an invoice with late fees. On the day of my move out I was denied access by my card and they didn't know why. There is not enough staff and long wait times. They definitely need new and better management! Staff did not know how to correct issues. I would not recommend going there until they are u dear new management and staff is trained better.

Way too expensive. I moved a mile down the road to cubesmart and got a 10x10 (also climate controlled) with insurance for $67 a month instead of the $107 I spent at uhaul for a 5x10 without insurance.

The man was not helpful when I wanted to rent a trailer and told me I needed to bring it back by midnight and charged me full price when I didn’t rent it until 3:30 and when I told him I also wanted to rent a unit he didn’t even help me he told me to do it online and then I ended up having to go back to get a key it was irritating and frustrating because I had to be at the place to move the stuff instead of dealing with this nonsense.

I have been dealing with this U-Haul for many years, storage rental, truck rental and trailer rental. My only complaint is they block the storage access with trucks you can't load or unload.

My key broke off and I was told they couldn't do anything about it. I had to leave my shed unlocked for a week until I unloaded the contents. They offered no help. But wanted to charge me 60$
