Our family appreciated having a temperature-controlled storage site nearby to temporarily house belongings after our mother passed away. The facility was very clean, well lit, and easily accessible. If I did have questions or any difficulty gaining access, the office staff were very helpful and prompt in responding. I'd definitely recommend the U-Haul storage facility!

I couldn't get the lock to slide open and tried calling the offie with no response. So, I drove back to the office to get some help. It was almost closing time, so they weren't too happy. The younger of the 2 drove to my storage unit to assist me. He didn't say one word to me. He aggressively opened my unit and proceeded to walk away. I had to stop him and ask him how he opened it, just in case I was doing something wrong. He quickly showed me and walked away again. When I had to lock the unit, the I couldnt get the lock to slide to the right. It was stuck for a while until we eventually got it. This will be the last time I rent a unit from this place. I will be telling everyone I know about my experiene. Customer service here is terrible!

This location seems to have issues like any other place would with people breaking into the Rv storage lot but there does not seem to be a huge sense of urgency to get these issues handled. First issue was they had issues with gate being broke. Took like 3 weeks to get it fixed. Meanwhile the gate was left up all day so anyone could drive in there. Second time supposedly someone hit the gate and broke it. That issue still isn't fixed and happened over 6 weeks ago if not more. Was told that they are waiting on parts or whatever the excuse was. I had recommended a business to them that specializes in gate repairs that had the parts needed to resolve the issue almost immediately and probably would have been cheaper for them but they chose to stay with whoever was holding up the repairs. Well this whole time the gate is removed so during day it's wide open and anyone can drive back there and at night they supposedly block the entrance with a moving truck. Well being open all day is not secured. I am paying for a secured lot. Not a free for all. Asked for discount in meantime. Was told no they don't do that and guess what. They actually raised the rent a bit. How convenient. Then I notice the chain link fence behind my Toyhauler was cut in two spots with a big hole where anyone can walk in there. Mentioned it to management there and was told they were aware and are working on it. Listen it don't take weeks to get a fence out back together. So again lacking urgency on the repairs meanwhile we are paying for a "secured" spot at high dollar and the lot isn't secure. So be nice if this uhaul would do whatever changes are needed to get urgency into the management on when there is a issue get it handled at all cost immediately. If for whatever reason it can't be within a timely manner then discount the spot for those who ask in the meantime. Or get multiple quotes on repairs because again this gate would have been fixed if they would have taken my recommendation. But what it cost uhaul was losing myself and my buddy as a customer who both had trailers stored there. Not that they will care over there because customer service isn't their number one priority. Pretty sad we are limited in tucson for storage and they basically know they have peoples hands tied and that will pay their bill no matter how they are treated.

You would think with all the new storage units around you would want to keep your good customers that pay on time. Everytime I ever had to pick anything up cars were parked in front of the door. No one is ever in the building but cars are blocking the entrance. Yesterday I stopped by twice to get things. It was an employee that had his car parked right in front of the doors. Ridiculous! Nothing totally horrible but I'm glad I'm moved out. Thanks

Someone stuck a screwdriver into the key slot in an attempt to start or steal it but they failed. I had to replace the ignition switch…. No problems other than that and no issues with rats which was my biggest fear over the two years I had my RV stored there! Great job!

ROBERT S | Expérience généraleKyle and his team saved the day. We received a call the morning of arrival on a 1 way trip across country that the drop off location was full and we were not welcome. The regional manager returned our call and directed us to a second location that he assured us would take care of us. They were also unable to serve our need for storage. That location manager sent us to Kyle and his team. Kyle and the team were terrific. My advice to any prospective customer considering U-Haul is to "Choose Wisely". U-Haul is not a consistent experience and it is clearly not a top down driven enterprise. Each location can be rated from 5 stars all the way down to 1 star based on the individual sites commitment to customer service.

Robert D | Expérience généraleThe unit is overwhelmingly hot. I get that it's in Tucson, but the fans never ran for the entire year of our rental. The hallways are littered with dead bugs, and the building smells like poison. Carts are rarely available (even in neighboring buildings), so expect to walk far if you need one. The general manager at the time, Josh, was incredibly condescending, gave away our reserved unit and refused to honor our "month of free storage." We paid in full for a larger unit than what we wanted, out of desperation, and never went inside the office again. Upon moving out of the unit, it seems Josh has been replaced but the bugs are still a problem.

Staff was very nonchalant about this. Very disheartening. I don't believe they cared one way or the other about what happened. My mistake for not realizing that there were no cameras inside or outside of the rental units . Therefore, no way to see anything. Was done by someone who had a unit there, or staff that worked there. Either case, DONT rent a storage unit that doesn't have camera security.

Well we have auto draft and it's been paid every month so far. So my question is how did Uhaul drop the ball and not notify us if it's our account and we removed her from it? How did Uhaul take a payment out for months but missed September and not have our info to notify us? Obviously the person you transferred everything did a horrible job. The day we did this transfer there everything was unorganized so I guess that's the reason. When my husband went down yesterday to figure it out, the answer was we are not sure. Something wrong with symptoms. We'll figure it out. We should have received a letter, email, call to let us know payment was not taken out. This is no a move in experience. We have had this unit for 5 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 4:30, the phone switches to a call center, which doesn't make sense when the store is open until 7 pm. On top of that, the employees are not knowledgeable on their products, the call center people can't help at all, and they're rude. The only person I found helpful at this location is the manager, but that's only when he's able to be reached. I was told when I booked the unit that I would get 1 month of storage for free, but when I arrived I was told that wasn't possible, and had to pay for the full month right then. On top of that, they don't prorate, so I would have had to pay for a 2nd month when I only needed the unit for 6 weeks. I ended up leaving after 3. I would not recommend this location to anyone until they make some major changes.

I'm disabled and had a reservation but they made me run in the Arizona sun to make up for their mistake, and I'm still paying the price physically.

Unbeknownst to me my auto pay was interrupted, I received a late notice with a late fee. So my first thought was is all my stuff gone? I called Josh the manager at the store to get this straightened out. Once he explained about experation on card and cc numbers changing when getting another card. I would have thought the idiots at my bank would inform me about it. Go figure . Then the extra amount was a blow also. I know it is only $16 but right now every penny counts. Josh explained everything to me and he took off the late fee. Most places dont operate like this especially corporations because it is about the bottom line. Now remember I have multiple life issues going on now that the last thing g I need is another headdd ache. With josh taking off the late fee ( without having to argue about)made my day. Because of his kindness I will be renting for at least two more months at $76 per mo. Instead of paying the whole bill and closing out my storage with yall. So acting in good faith for me as a customer , your company just profited $132 instead of $16. Not to mention me talking to everyone about it and I have a big mouth. I have spoken with josh before and he has always been a professional but today he went over and above . He deserves to be recognized and not just by me. I hope you ( uhaul) treat and acknowledge your employees that got over and above like josh took care of me yesterday. Thank you for your time. Was redirected to Cortaro location ,where I received proper treatment by staff that seemed to care! Joshua the manager there made things right for me! Thank God for him and his courteous staff!...please note something is very wrong at the 4040 ina location! I'm 72 years old a disabled American vet! I did not deserve to be treated abusively by the people at 4040 ina location! Was one of the worst experiences ever by co personnel!. God help anybody who goes into that place I'm talking about 4040 ina road!
