I did have a problem about the fuel level. I was told the truck was full, and the needle was just a tad under the F on the gauge when I drove off. I drove 55 miles, and the needle had dropped down to 3/4 full. When I stopped to fill up, it took 7 gallons. At the prices today, that is kind of expensive. I informed the attendant there was maybe a gas gauge issue, and it wasn't fair to customers who were just taking the truck for limited miles. Not sure he was too concerned.MELODY W.
When we picked up the van it was filthy dirty. It was nearly impossible to see damage except major issues. I asked when the last time it was serviced because we would be driving it 2000+ miles. The agent said he just serviced it. All fluids were empty, and oil was dirty. If you rent from this dealer check everything before you leave the location. We will not rent from them again. It is closest to where we live. We have rented 3 storage units in the past with no issues, but this rental van was awful and only had 12000 miles on it. They need a manager on duty to check things are done professionally.Robert F.

We have had our storage for years with my mother Inlaw. My husband was on the account as well. She removed all her stuff for the unit and we took it over removing her name and adding our credit card and info almost 8 months ago. She text me she received a bill that September was not paid. Well we have auto draft and it's been paid every month so far. So my question is how did Uhaul drop the ball and not notify us if it's our account and we removed her from it? How did Uhaul take a payment out for months but missed September and not have our info to notify us? Obviously the person you transferred everything did a horrible job. The day we did this transfer there everything was unorganized so I guess that's the reason. When my husband went down yesterday to figure it out, the answer was we are not sure. Something wrong with symptoms. We'll figure it out. We should have received a letter, email, call to let us know payment was not taken out. This is no a move in experience. The office hours for this location are convenient, but it's impossible to reach anyone by phone, even when they're there. After 4:30, the phone switches to a call center, which doesn't make sense when the store is open until 7 pm. On top of that, the employees are not knowledgeable on their products, the call center people can't help at all, and they're rude. The only person I found helpful at this location is the manager, but that's only when he's able to be reached. I was told when I booked the unit that I would get 1 month of storage for free, but when I arrived I was told that wasn't possible, and had to pay for the full month right then. On top of that, they don't prorate, so I would have had to pay for a 2nd month when I only needed the unit for 6 weeks. I ended up leaving after 3. I would not recommend this location to anyone until they make some major changes.Kenneth B. | Expérience générale

I reserved a truck on Ina rd. I was tied up with my flooring company and was 30 minutes late for pick up. The truck I reserved was rented to someone else. The counter person was a ass hole with comments. Saw on his butt. He found he another truck from a further location. That location was wonderful, helpful,pleasant. I'm a salesmanager for a large automotive company. I would have written him up and possibly terminated him.JOHN T.
Auto transport trailer was given to me and after heading down the road, it became obvious that a tire was terribly unbalanced causing the trailer and my truck to shake while driving. Roadside assistance was called and there were no vendors nearby to replace the tire. Ended up getting a flat on another tire and they replaced the unbalanced tire as well as the flat. Trailer pulled like a dream after that. The trailer was provided to me in unsuitable condition and there was no convenient remedy. In the end it worked out (only because of the flat tire). I was told by Roadside assurance to take it to a shop and get it fixed on my own and then get reimbursed. This to me was unacceptable. The person I spoke to was professional and I'm sure was doing they best they could, but this was not a realistic solution to the problem.MICHAEL L.

The manager of the location waited on me when setting up the contract. He was courteous and knowledgeable and made sure that the trailer I was renting would meet the requirements of the task I had. We got the trailer rigged up to my truck in no time and I was off. The return was just as efficient. I drove into the covered area to return the trailer and immediately one of the staff was there inspecting the trailer and closing out my contract. The facility was neat, clean, and well organized. I'll go back there to rent trailers in the future no doubt instead of purchasing a trailer I would likely use no more than four times per year.PAUL D.

When I picked up the truck it was on full. The problem was the gauge goes beyond that when truly full. I put 25 miles on the truck and ended up putting 6 gallons in the truck. So it was not really full. The trucks should be filled completely before going out.TODD S.

I was disappointed with having to pay 20 $for a person to show me how to strap my auto to the tow. That should be part of the service. The number of cargo blankets was 6 less than ordered. The team member was good, just limited by the equipment available.Ronald S.

This was probably one of the worst costumer experiences that I have ever had. Several members of the staff were ill informed about the process and our belongings arrived several weeks late. We have been long time costumers of UHaul but sadly, we will be looking for another moving company to assist us with our next move. I understand that we are in the midst of a global pandemic but that did not excuse the lack of answers and inability to answer the simplest of questions. We are also shipping things from overseas at the moment and the company handling that move was far more helpful and informative, so there really is no excuse for the way that we were treated as costumers.ELIZABETH T.

Service in Tucson, AZ was impeccable. The service in Cincinnati was less than acceptable. When calling to speak with staff they were rude and not helpful. My shipment was delayed by 2 days and had I not called to ask when my stuff was supposed to be delivered since I had not received a confirmation call I was told that â€œthere were no trucks available that day to deliverâ€. Yet no one had notified me of the delay. I have used uhaul in previous moves but will definitely consider using a different company in the future for moves.James Monica J.

The worst moving experience I've ever had. The one and only bright spot out of the 3 areas I hired you in was the outside moving help. They were stars!! But the mistakes you made with the truck and storage made an awful day the absolute worst day I've had in the last 10 years. They make every thing seem possible online, but once you've done the reservation, they're employees are the ones that have to try to shuffle everything to make it happen, and most times they can't do it. I'll never ever recommend uhaul to anyone at this point now. And I'm seriously considering a lawsuit at this point. I'm disabled and had a reservation but they made me run in the Arizona sun to make up for their mistake, and I'm still paying the price physically.Selena J. | Premières impressions
After making a reservation using our free month offer from a truck rental, I was informed that it cannot be honored because the facility was almost full. So basically they refused to honor the promised free month due to being at capacity and God forbid they lose 135 $after I just spent over 1 800 $for a rental. When we arrived at our destination in Marana AZ, we found that they were not participating, as they do not have the capacity. I view this as bait and switch, and will be telling others.
