Lack of communication, was sent to multiple locations to find a U-box container. When I finally got to the location that had one they seems annoyed that I was not returning it to be stored on property instead it would be kept on my own all property. After the U-box was returned on time my card was still charged for another month

The pick up location in Arizona was excellent, however my recent experience with your company was the worst I've ever had. First of all, I ordered a hitch to be installed on my vehicle 10 DAYS ahead of a cross country move. When I showed up to have my hitch installed, I was told the hitch never arrived. There was no contact, no warning on the day before a cross country move. They didn't even know I had a reservation for a hitch install. I was offered a 10' truck for a lot more money than the 6X12 trailer I originally reserved. With no choice, I rented the 10' truck. The added expense of the truck, and having to pay for fuel on TWO vehicles made the entire trip considerably more expensive. I've used U-haul for many years, however this experience was the last... I will be using Budget, Ryder, or anyone but U-haul. What a disappointment this was. Anyone reading this should be concerned... U-haul probably will never read this (or care), however I feel better posting it. Seriously, this situation could have been handled better.

I asked to leave the truck and trailer at two locations and they did not let me this is completely not fair it was such and inconvenience for me and my family

Better customer service. At pick up they said I had signed up to pick up my truck via truck share. I was having problems with getting that to go through, and they let us stand outside trying to get checked in for over 30 mins before finally coming out to offer help, and this was after I had expressed frustration with the online checking about 15 mins earlier. At drop off, we were rushed off. I received my receipt via email about 20 mins after leaving, and upon review of receipt I was overcharged for the replacement fuel by over 30 $. I was charged 65 $for 1/8 tank of gas/55 miles... this seems like an ABSURD amount. Will be calling tomorrow for correction.

The Marana staff for the most part have no idea what they are doing and dump you on never ending hold. I made repeated calls and spent more than 2 hours on hold with no help. BUT, one day I was transferred to Caitlyn who figured everything out, called me back and made sure delivery of the UBoxes was timely. Caitlyn is a rock star, the guys who answer the phones need some customer service training badly. And the UBox delivery drivers were great, friendly and very efficient. Mick at the CA location was wonderful but Marana staff made this experience hellish.

The u boxes got delivered a day late because of truck problems which is fine but instead of giving us two days to pack like we agreed on they showed up the very next morning and we weren't finished packing so we had to rush it. Then they were hours late to delivering them to our new house and did not give us a heads up as to why. We had to call u haul directly and ask what was going on.

They were courteous at this location. They had the equipment ready when I arrived. They were very helpful when I had to go over and return my truck late. The expense of the rental was a great value. I will recommend this office to anyone looking to rent.

The worst Customer service of any company I have work with - had to wait 3 hours on phone both ends - That's 6 hours - No help whatsoever Box was broken into - have pictures - sent me a box that should have been scrapped. The worst moving experience I've ever had. The one and only bright spot out of the 3 areas I hired you in was the outside moving help. They were stars!! But the mistakes you made with the truck and storage made an awful day the absolute worst day I've had in the last 10 years. They make every thing seem possible online, but once you've done the reservation, they're employees are the ones that have to try to shuffle everything to make it happen, and most times they can't do it. I'll never ever recommend uhaul to anyone at this point now. And I'm seriously considering a lawsuit at this point. I'm disabled and had a reservation but they made me run in the Arizona sun to make up for their mistake, and I'm still paying the price physically.

After making a reservation using our free month offer from a truck rental, I was informed that it cannot be honored because the facility was almost full. So basically they refused to honor the promised free month due to being at capacity and God forbid they lose 135 $after I just spent over 1 800 $for a rental. Seeing how I needed the space that day and had movers hired, I had no choice but to agree to the complete and utter disregard for following their own promotion.

When I arrived Evan was working with a customer who had reserved a truck at a nearby location that happened to be closed on Sundays. He didn't have the size truck she had reserved and she was very frustrated. Even calmly provided her with multiple other options (without letting her throw a fit) and worked with the woman until they found an arrangement that would work for her. It easily took an hour. In the mean time my digital check in went smoothly and my truck was ready and waiting when I arrived.

This is an insanely overpriced service. I was forced to load my box a full three weeks before it was guaranteed to arrive and it still arrived late!!! And the communication was awful. The service staff at each location were great, but a number of times no one could confirm if the box had arrived or when it would arrive. This was very expensive and stressful. Would not use this service again.

Okay I can't really fault this location since they didn't do anything but I can say U-Haul did me wrong and has terrible, horrible, unbelievable customer service. One of the worst experiences in my life and you as company should be ashamed. I'm still waiting for a proper apology from someone in management. Seriously one of the WORST EXPERIENCES EVER! I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone even my worst enemy. Again you should be ashamed as a company.

Had a very awful experience . Will never use U-Haul ever again. Wasn't any of this locations listed. The miscommunication and unprofessionalism of the location on 1265 e benson Hwy was behind me. I'm not sure how a business can be ran with such inconsiderate people. Wasted 2 hours running around trying to drop off my belongings as well as returning my U-Haul truck. Not the first time using U-Haul but it will definitely be my last. Definitely made my moving experience that much harder than it needed to be

HOWEVER...I am VERY upset with corporate. We were told the cost included 30 days of free storage. When we arrived at our destination in Marana AZ, we found that they were not participating, as they do not have the capacity. I view this as bait and switch, and will be telling others. I paid 105 $plus insurance for what was supposed to be free.

All staff were well educated on all uhaul equipment and happy to guide us to the right fit. Josh has been an excellent point of contact and makes the rental and check in/out process simple and quick. The equipment I rented was clean and worked properly. The storage units I had for 10 months were perfect.

The gentleman helping us today was completely unfriendly and unhelpful. When we went to hook up the trailer we realized the wrong size ball was on our tow hitch. We had the correct ball in the vehicle but did not bring our tools to switch it out. We asked the gentleman if we could borrow some adjustable wrenches to switch it out but he told us his boss left and he has all the tools (a story I find hard to believe). He said we could purchase a whole new hitch with the correct size ball if they have one in stock. We said no thank you we will just go get a wrench instead. Luckily the customer service at Lowes was much better and the nice gentleman we came across let us borrow the necessary tools to swap out our ball. Unfortunately the endeavor wasted an extra hour of our time. If it weren't for the poor customer service we encountered we would probably use this location again because it has a good selection of equipment and is easy to access from the frontage road.

The ladies at the desk need to lighten up a bit. They were not very friendly and more than anxious to tell me they couldn't help me. I'd been there before for a couple of different reasons and they "couldn't" help me then either. Why are they there?

I had my rental on auto pay and my card quit working so I had my bank make me one. Unbeknownst to me my auto pay was interrupted, I received a late notice with a late fee. So my first thought was is all my stuff gone? I called Josh the manager at the store to get this straightened out. Once he explained about experation on card and cc numbers changing when getting another card. I would have thought the idiots at my bank would inform me about it. Go figure . Then the extra amount was a blow also. I know it is only 16 $but right now every penny counts. Josh explained everything to me and he took off the late fee. Most places dont operate like this especially corporations because it is about the bottom line. Now remember I have multiple life issues going on now that the last thing g I need is another headdd ache. With josh taking off the late fee ( without having to argue about)made my day. Because of his kindness I will be renting for at least two more months at 76 $per mo. Instead of paying the whole bill and closing out my storage with yall. So acting in good faith for me as a customer , your company just profited 132 $instead of 16 $. Not to mention me talking to everyone about it and I have a big mouth. I have spoken with josh before and he has always been a professional but today he went over and above . He deserves to be recognized and not just by me. I hope you ( uhaul) treat and acknowledge your employees that got over and above like josh took care of me yesterday. Thank you for your time. I would like a call back from corporate to know this does not fall on deaf ears. Thank you again

I still have over 3 weeks left on my lease and you guys will not prorate it which I think is very sad I should have just left my lock on there until it was up but instead I heard on the phone you guys didn't have no 10x15 s available there so I'm sure he got filled right away and I can't see why I couldn't get prorated on my storage unit !

The staff didn't know you can check out on-line, may need training update. On the website it says to leave the key card inside the unit and close the door when vacating. But, you need the keycard to open the gate to exit the facility. This is confusing so someone may need to make a change to this. Otherwise, great facility. If I need storage in the future I will try here 1st.

Can not lock storage unit. Friendly staff said they'd fix it and call. Haven't heard yet if I can start my storage. I feel as if I'm being charged although I can't use it, not sure what I can do. I tried to call twice and was on hold for 10 minutes both times and had to hang up because I was too busy to wait longer. Maybe Uhaul could reimburse my non-use time or something? Don't want to complain, just confused about what to do.

I rented a large unit for over 8 years both prior to U-Haul Ownership and was taken care of during the transition and for all those years after and felt valued as a customer. They were very professional Marcus who assisted me was very professional and attentive. Evans the other staff was also attentive. Sorry if I didn't mention the other staff. Thank you for not being racist and so rude due to covid - 19 because i am an Asian woman. I had encountered many since i moved to Tucson. The worst one was I couldn't try a dress that i wanted to buy but other customers can because i walked out and stay near the door i saw other ladies try the blouse. Again thank you Uhaul staff.

I asked that if I was not to have a prorated refund that my unit not be rented because I paid for the whole month. The representative (not wearing a mask) proceded to berate me. Telling me the only way they would do that is if I kept the unit AND returned the following month to cancel the unit. He (unmasked during the exchange) was hollering at me as I left. Of course this will be a YouTube video on my channel about this experience.

The experience at the frontage road u haul was the easiest, least stressful part of buying a home during a pandemic! Evan inside was outstanding! I tried to see if they could get ahold of someone that bought my storage stuff it got auctioned I just wanted what ever they didn't want my family pictures and papers I was willing to pay them for those things the lady told me there was no way to get ahold of them which I later found out was not true. I left a email with the manager and got no response I am devastated!

Just two minor issues, appeared unit had a leak, two boxes appeared stained no damage. Next appeared unit got very hot sometimes during the contract, cake stand lid had packing plastic melt and permanently damage it. Not bad for three years.

The staff at this location was less than helpful & I ended up having to get 3 units. 2 at this location and 1 other at a completely different facility & company. This issue would have been handled better had they given me the largest unit as I asked for in the beginning. The gentleman helping was not interested in looking or listening. The manager was less than willing to apologize for costing me more $$ & didn't even offer to exchange/ move / discount for the error made by staff. I would  not recommend this place.

Needed a spot to park my RV and made the call to Josh who was very accommodating and super friendly. His lot is clean, well lighted and has a rodent control program that was important to me when parking and RV outside. Just a perfect spot for me 

Went the uhaul at 4040 ina where I was treated abusivly by the staff! Being gaslights repeatedly by a dispicable woman at intake,who repeatedly gas lighted me and was mislead by shop personnel to repair area! Causing damage to my vehicle!! Finally ended up at the one on the frontage road off of Cortaro where I was rescued from the horrible attacks at the 4040 ina location!! Service man accused me of being drunk! And in a location never had a dui in my life and was not Inebriated when I returned five hours early next day was again repeatedly abused by the same person! Was redirected to Cortaro location ,where I received proper treatment by staff that seemed to care! Joshua the manager there made things right for me! Thank God for him and his courteous staff!...please note something is very wrong at the 4040 ina location! I'm 72 years old a disabled American vet! I did not deserve to be treated abusively by the people at 4040 ina location! Was one of the worst experiences ever by co personnel!. God help anybody who goes into that place I'm talking about 4040 ina road!

Facility is well maintained and clean. I like that there are carts, without broken wheels, to use and easily accessible. What I don't like is having to get out of my vehicle to enter and exit. Yes there are openers available so I may get one of those.

Staff was unfriendly and not helpful when i attempted to leave the uhaul truck at the same location as the storage unit i rented after driving in from Kingman Az. , The staff tried to make me take the truck to another location about 20 miles away. to not inconvenience them??? they threatened to charge me with 300 $additional fees if i did not take the truck to another moving center. Good customer service was not a concern, and didnt offer solutions or to help with additional gas costs. i had to call the Uhaul help line to get assistance. (Very disturbing and Sad)
