I waited from 2pm until 2:31pm there was only one person there and only one customer in front of me. And secondly I got the 14 $insurance on the truck when i was driving, the Rear driver dually tire left rear it was sounding like bad ball bearings the wheel was locking up or something all I know is something went out for a few seconds and it had me swerving it was going back and gorth left and right i got control of vehicle tried to call them they wouldnt answer i told the guy at the store but it sounded like to me theyre still gonna put it back on the road its not their loss as long as someone else puts coverage on it I guess.JOHNATHAN M.

The person that checked me in was helpful, but I was told that I would not be charged for an after hours drop off. I received my bill and I was charged. When I tried the local phone number listed for the shop, I was on hold for a while before getting someone in a call center. I was then transferred to the shop for another long hold, that I was unable to wait for.Maria L.

I went to the originally planned uhaul place and despite 2 trucks being parked at that location I had arranged. We were unable to use the application and the uhaul phone line person stated the person at our planned pick up site had not yet checked in the vehicles so they were unavailable to us.JOEL D.

It was not staffed enough. The person who assisted me was alone and there were problems with the truck I rented. I was told it had a full tank of gas and it had half a tank. The mileage was off by about 27 miles. I got out before leaving and went back inside to tell her. She said take a picture and that she would fox it. I uploaded a picture of the half tank of gas. I was ynable to delete that to upload the picture that showed the mileage and gas together, however, I took it and kept it. Upon return a couple hours later, I was charged for miles I didn't drive. I drove 23 miles ONLY. I called to let them know about the problem (I was told to just leave the truck with the keys in it and go on my way and that is the process for returns now). Once Inreceived the final invoice in my email, I realize the error had not beem corrected and that is when I called. I was told they could not fix it and that they would call and have it fixed. I texted a picture and was told it would be a week to refund my money. This error should have not happened as I informed the attendant immediately amd if ahe would have had assistance, I am sure she would have fixed it i. Tike to not be incorrectly charged.REBECCA H.

After waiting in line for 20 minutes, I find out my reservations was canceled because i was two hours late, then I was treated as if I wasn't trusted and it took another 20 minutes to get the trailer. The App is time consuming and battery draining, I had started to return the truck at 7PM (check lot cameras) but the app drained my battery from 20 % to 0 %. It didn't seem fair that he was left alone in the store with so many people + phones to take care of, but he took it all in stride. I returned the trailer a day early because the dealer did not connect the tail lights and it was unsafe to drive. (Check the picture on file.) The real problem was the location was terribly under staffed and therefore the person serving me was dealing with several customers at once. when store opens which i think are busiest time should have 2 registers 1 those with an appointment, the other for walk ins. many times i book for 7AM to get early start to beat the heat, I arrive and wait in long lines not getting out sometimes for an hour, and I am simply getting a trailer, the store i used to was good I Was in and out, some of the others wowScott S.

Both times I've been there the "system" has been down. Just makes it harder to get in and out. But I love your Motorcycle trailers and the people working at this location did a fine job, making the best of a system down situation.Andrew P.
Regarding Uhaul specifically: remove the â€œone wayâ€ advertisement from your literally every single truck in the lot. I needed to get a truck from SF and drop it off in Sac but they called me to tell me that wasn't a thing anymore; I had to return the truck to the same location I picked it up from (2-hours away). It only worked out for me because I had people coming from Sac who could pick it up. However, it felt like a silly ploy to get me to pay more; I ended up paying over 300 $to drive a truck from Sac and back when I could have just picked it up in SF and made one stinking trip. It all worked out though. We also had another issue with picking up the truck. We chose to pick it up using my phone and everything went well until I clicked on the payment option and got an error message. We stood next to truck for about 30 minutes waiting on customer service to confirm the payment and explain how to get the keys. After all of that, I must say that I had a great experience with the actual truck. It drove well and was clean. Felt safe to drive aside from the wheel not being centered while driving. Drop off was a breeze and that 15' foot truck can really hold a ton!Candice R.

Lots of break-ins. My trailer was broken into twice in just 10 months. 5 trailers in total broken into the same day my trailer was broken into. Uhaul management did not reach out to me to inform me if the re-occuring break-ins. Never received apology from Uhaul. Had to call the police myself to have them come out to investigate the break-ins. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY TO STORE YOUR RV/TRAILER. I want to say that Kenneth at the Mather Field Uhail is an asset to your Company. Customer service A++, he was short handed only one working in the morning but he was so nice, so pleasant to everyone who was upset because they had to wait in line instead of following the quick check in method. Staff were always very polite and friendly. The facility, however, has extremely poor security and is an easy target for break-ins. Our RV trailer was vandalized twice while stored at the facility, as was all the neighboring RV trailers next to us. The last vandalism to the trailers was extreme. When reported, the staff gave us insurance pamphlets and said they were sorry, and said that it's a problem at that facility. Our travel,trailer as well as 10 others were broken into by the homeless population. What upset us the most was the fact that none of the employees thought to notify us. We were very fortunate however as ours was one of the smaller ones soother units were more desirable to sleep and eat food in. We did lose some possessions. When we finally heard from the manager in charge, she was very nice. We no longer have our RV there. Staff are friendly but the location is not secure, my car was broken into and the stereo was stolen. I am out of state and nobody even notified me. I know that probably isn't their job but it would seem like a basic courtesy. I asked my parents to check on the vehicle and that is when I found out. Maybe not having vehicles right next to the fences so people could easily climb over might help. Or higher fences. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous but they are often understaffed. The same person is moving trucks in the parking lot, installing hitches on cars, checking people into new storage units and selling merchandise in the store.
