My whole experience it was a nightmare. I had to bring the truck back to the place where I picked it up because they didn’t have the truck that I originally was scheduled for. They didn’t give me enough notice to change my move-in plans. I had to pay the movers from 1030 and couldn’t pick the truck up until 1230. Then I got charged $1.08 for going over the mileage! It’s bad enough that I had to pay for the gas for around trip charge. I will never use U-Haul again!

I have booked several U-Hauls lately to get some jobs done. The last one I booked was terrible. It said I had to return it by midnight by a text when I was suppose to have it back by noon the next day. I did an electronic turn in and it charged me for one more day, I was very disappointed. I know I was a couple hours late returning it, but it woke me out of sound sleep and I had trouble long back to sleep, which made my job in the morning late, in which made me turn it in late. Also that pin pad in the store is always not working. I think this is where all the trouble started. I’m very disappointed worh U-Haul right now after how loyal I have been.

The mobile check out and check in kept kicking me out. It wouldn’t accept the pictures I uploaded and then would take me back to the beginning. I got kicked out so many times when I was checking back in that I gave up. Fortunately, the location was staffed when I was returning and the staff person was able to get it done for me. I was accessing the site through Safari on my iPhone.

Where do I start? I haven't driven a U-Haul truck in over 10 years but I must applaud Jay at the Toledo location who made my U-Haul Rental experience from start to finish an absolute pleasure. Prior to the rental, I received a call to confirm the logistics for my trip. I expressed how there must have been a miscommunication with the previous U-Haul agent on my pick-up/drop-off location and immediately Jay rectified the situation. He knew I needed the truck at 7am and made sure to open his location at the specified time I originally had set. Jay used a highlighter marker and went over the contract to make sure I understood the agreement I was signing. He asked if I had any questions and walked outside to the truck and showed me what I needed to know about this vehicle. I applaud Jay, I commend Jay and certainly hope the corporate U-Haul headquarters realize what a FINE and EXTRAORDINARY employee they have. He's a terrific, personable guy and that's coming from a New Yorker who traveled 12 hours to move his medical school daughter from Toledo to her new apartment in Niles, Ohio. Bravo Jay.

First off thank you for being able to accommodate my need for a truck this past weekend. The pick up location was amended by John (phone call representative). The only thing that needs improving is John’s training on the mileage adjustment for picking up from the new location. John was a great representative lacks the information. I had to contact U-Haul when I arrived home to discuss the mileage. Had he been aware of this I would not have had to stress about this. Maya was literate to correct my concerns without issue.

No complaints at all, a great experience. Very friendly staff and only.spent maybe 5-10 minutes for check in. Then when I returned truck, staff was just as friendly and only spent maybe another 5-10 minutes then. I would definitely recommend this branch to anyone looking to rent a we'll maintained easy to use vehicle from a professional group of folks.

I had a confirmed reservation at PENSKE - Home Depot For Saturday, the 1st of December. I stopped into the store to make sure they had the 26' truck I had ordered about four hours before I was scheduled to pick it up. They didn't have the truck and couldn't get one. I didn't even receive a phone cal. I called around and was suggested to me by the staff at home depot, to go to u-haul. I was able to get a 20' truck from u-haul. thanks for your service.

There was so much cigarette essence in the cab of the truck. I sneezed the entire time and would have been with the windows down to air it out except for the 26 degree weather. A thorough cleaning/air freshener/airing out is in order. The staff was FANTASTIC though. I intend to patronize again (even though there are others closer).

To let customers know if you going to return vehicle by way of cyber check in...to actually watch the video in completion Before returning rhe truck...the getelman i delt with also told me there was an additional charge for cleaning out the truck if it had mud in it....it was a rainiy day and i did my best...but i have never heard of such a thing...it seems consumers are being nickled and dimed for everything...because the companies can and it all down right ridiculous

Just tell them before they get there to pick up the vehicle that they can not leave their vehicle there for the day. We were only using the truck for a few hours and originally planned to just leave our car there. Fortunately our plans changed and we did not do that which is good because when we got there they told us that was not allowed. Just give people a heads up. Other than that, everyone was really nice and the whole process was quick and efficient.

The employees, Barry and Zach were very friendly each and every time I dealt with them. However, when it came to the store manager (I wrote his name down but can find the paper.) I spoke to him 1 time. If I wouldn't have dealt with Zach, or Barry or been a new customer, I would NOT have given Uhaul any business at all.

Easy check out and check in. The truck had ample capacity, and the ramp made loading easier. The attendant (Barry?) was friendly and efficient. I'll probably rent a truck from here again next week.

The only reason i would not recommend this location to a friend is because of the roaches I found in the 2nd truck I rented. But,the staff was nice and helpful.

This was the second truck I rented from this location in 2 days, as the first truck was not big enough for my items, the staff was very helpful to me but this truck much to my surprise had cockroaches in the moving pad bag and was on the wall of the truck (we noticed them after the truck was almosted loaded or I would have returned the truck immediately) we killed what we could. When returning the truck I did notify the manager Matthew right away telling him I have never had roaches and he said it was just the area and that this happens. He removed the bag with the pads in it and found a baby roach underneath of it, he sprayed the wall with bug spray and seemed upset about the situation. He did offer me a credit of $15 for the bugs being in the truck. I was very upset as I do not want these bugs in my boxes to be brought into my new home.

When I had to check in the vehicle it was after hours which I brought it back well before the 24 hour time frame, but I couldn’t check the vehicle in through the site it wasn’t easy friendly. I was requested to take it well out of my arrangements of near by places to drop it off and was charge but later refunded the amount I believe; I had no paperwork to say how much was refunded but was totally surprised of the charges when it was of a favor asked of me/customer to extend my time and expense not evaluating in the equation I had the expense of getting myself and the others in my group back to our destination when this was not calculated as my direct expense for the favor to Uhaul. But yet I was given attitude because of the one stick lower on the meter than what I was given, I was not about to ride around in search of petro for both personal transportation and the Uhaul I did not account for all of the expense before excepting the commitment to drop off in Uhaul’s behalf when I was told I could drop off at the nearest to my destination.
