When I picked up up I was loading and noticed the turning signal was about ready to fall out. I let the gentleman there know that maybe it would be good to probably give me another unit, he said it would be fine. So half way to florida the whole signal fell out. So I had to drive from Ohio to florida towing with no right turning signal or brake light.

The older man who was working was extremely rude at first. The younger lady working was very helpful though. There was a lot of confusion on how to go about the payment, who would be driving, even how to hook the dolly up to the truck. At the end the older man changed his attitude so things went smoothly. I think he just might have been taking everything a little too seriously.

Week prior I reserved a 26 foot truck. My reservation was somehow canceled creating a whole lot of trouble for us. Spoke to customer service and they promised a $50 credit. They also reserved a truck for us for yesterday. Picked up and used truck no problem. Inquired of attendant about the credit. He said he doesnt know anything about it when people in customer service stated it would appear on our account. Completed the return of truck at agent's suggestion to see if credit appeared. Saw no credit. Will be calling corporate to inquire. Whole process was made more difficult by having to turn in the vehicle online. All of the photos requested were difficult for us as we were already exhausted and spouse had to climb back in the cab twice. We tried to get agent to accept the truck as it was only 4:30 PM but he was unresponsive and did not appear interested in helping us. Overall, we thought the truck was fine, but the customer service was seriously lacking. We will likely use another company in future.

I picked up my truck at 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday. No line, Hunter took care of my Reservation. The process went smoothly. He was very nice, helpful & knowledgable. My truck was ready as promised. I would rent from this location again.

The gentleman in Middletown that helped me when I picked up the truck was extremely rude, I asked him a question about filling up the truck twice because I did not understand and he stated I'm not going to tell you again it's just common sense. it made me feel very uncomfortable and I was glad to get away from him I don't know what was wrong with him he must have been having a bad day but he was very rude

Just make sure inside of vehicle is clean, especially the seats, whoever had the vehicle before me had a small dog or cat, and there was still some hair and loose dirt on the seats,I had to sweep the seats off and the holders were not cleaned completely. A small hand vac and car wipes could and should have handled this. This was my only complaint, vehicle could have been cleaner on the inside. Other than that, service was great.

My final invoice was emailed to me. This invoice was an amount over $40 less than the amount which was charged to my credit card when I rented the UHaul It would have been good to know when the credit will be applied to my account.

Great place to rent a truck. Was gonna be a little bit late on drop off. Let em know n hour before it had to be back and they were able to give me the extra couple I needed. In and out within 10 minutes. Never had any issues. Nothing that a broom couldn't handle. Would recommend and will use again I'm sure.

I've been here maybe 2 or 3 times now, and I have always had excellent customer service. 3 different people/CSR, and they all have been knowledgeable and efficient and friendly. Thanks for the great service and help with hooking/unhooking the trailer.

Trailer did not have light extension cord. Attendant was not able to find one in office. Took one from next trailer. Trailer lights did not work. Took a second cord from another adjacent trailer. Lights did not work. Made change to 4'x8' trailer. This trailer had a light extension cord that was severed. Took cord from adjacent trailer which worked. This effort was performed by the renter, me. Effort took 45 minutes plus to get set up. Trailer was not swept out at pick up.

I was sent to this site because I was over an hour late to my preferred booking location. Upon getting to this new location, the staff were not friendly. I was disappointed.

The vehicle needed maintenance to motor and or wheels, once we were traveling above 60 miles an hour the vehicle had a lot of shaking to driver cabin while driving in D, I had to drive vehicle in M and shift to gears my self so truck would have less shaking. Maintenance is needed.

Bank card was charge nearly 60$ extra for a mistake made by an employee. I had to drive all the way back to uhual to explain their mistake. Now i have to wait until the money is put back on my card!!

I had scheduled an 8 am pickup for Sunday. I called Saturday,to verify pickup and specifically asked for information to get keys....figured I would get text or email with directions to get keys out of a locked box. Was told I had to do in person and that someone would be at work at 7 am. I submitted my drivers license and did online check-in. When got to facility, no one was there and I could not get truck until 9 am. This was extremely frustrating, as I had a 2 hour window of time to complete task truck was needed for. I think the process needs to be reviewed to avoid future confusion. I did online reservation and followed up with in person to verify steps. Was not satisfied with confusion.

Multiple frustrations at this site, with the main one being - I reserved 2 storage units weeks ahead, then called 2 days before to confirm. When we arrived, the units were not available and was told they need to send us 40 miles away. I would never recommend this site and would hesitate to recommend Uhaul at all.

I reserved 2 storage units weeks in advance and called 2 days prior to arrival to confirm. When I arrived the staff informed me they did not have any available units but might have one available in 3 days. Then they wanted us to take the 26' truck with 12' trailer 40 miles away from the reserved location. The general manager was nasty, rude and actually stated that customer service doesn't have a clue what's going on in the facilities; even though it's the same company, same computer system, etc. She stated you make a reservation to be put on a list so that when a unit becomes available then you can rent it. I'm not sure what they expect you to do with furniture and belongings for a 4 bedroom home in the meantime. Last I knew, you make reservations so that when you need the item being reserved, it's available when you need it. Eventually, they were able to come up with some very small units. They units were littered with papers, the floors are dirty and there are large mouse/ rat traps in each (doesn't give you a warm fuzzy feeling). I would never recommend this location to anyone and would strongly question using U-haul at all.

Truck's AC had an issue. When turned on you can hear it running but nothing was coming out of the vents. Either the vents were not connected or the diverter was inoperable. But rough on an 82 degree day.

The Representative wasn't going to allow me to rent the appliance dolly because I wasn't renting a truck. I showed her my reservation number and she didn't trust that and had to call someone else. I feel that she is going to need more training on the products that you have to offer.

So you can pay a day rate and have the equipment for 24 hours. However if you think you will only need it for 12 and a giant severe thunderstorm comes and you may need it for 14. You will get charged for a whole additional day. If you have to screw over your customers to make money, then you need a new business model. Also please remove the dolly and padding. I didn't request it or need it, but it was in my way. Of course it can't be moved, or you get charged for breaking the seals. Again if you have to screw over your customers to turn a profit, you need new leadership.

I did receive a partial refund for this rental because this was a nightmare. Rental had to be picked up due to brakes failing. 4 hours to provide another truck. Scared thinking what could have happened if brakes completely failed.

My husband was asked to hook up the trailer himself because the associate didn't know how. When he returned the trailer, it wasn't checked in for nearly 2 hours and we had to call and wait for customer service for an extremely long time before the situation was rectified. Not happy at all.

The sales rep that rented the U-Haul told us that they did not use reservations when we had already made a reservation with U-Haul had our reservation number had all of our information refused to take it then screwed up and put it as a as it was coming back when it should've been a one-way we wanted it for seven days it was only put in as one day told us that was no big deal we could return the U-Haul in seven days there would be no extra charge which was not true ended up having to call you U U-Haul and dealing with it and there wasn't much they could do but they were amazing and helped us when the location itself would not do anything store manager of the Middletown location was supposed to call the next day after I had spoke to U-Haul she never called her he never called I was told they were in a meeting and could not speak to me right away and that they would 100 % called the next day if I did not pick up they would leave a voicemail this never happened over all this was the worst horrible experiences that we ever had If it had not been for the drop off location we would've been out money and then they on top of that it looked as if the truck was never picked up from Middletown when he was sitting in our yard and the lady from the pick up location how to fix that also

First attempt was two days earlier and the lady at the counter insisted that I needed a major credit card to rent a trailer. I told her I have been renting trailer from you for the last five yrs on my debit card....your website doesn't agree with that statement. The next day I used same card on line and brought by credit card with me just incase different person at counter and never asked for credit card..so definitely an opportunity to train

The gentleman who helped me get all set up was amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is they forgot to remove their red lock from the unit before renting it to me and it took about 30 minutes for them to remove it. The manager made sure all the people who came in after me were helped before removing the lock which could have been done between between. It took about 60 seconds once the person walked away from the counter.

The actual facility and staff are clean kind and another business. Now customer service on the other hand dropped the ball not once but twice it was a hassle just to get to the information of where we needed to go. Google gave us more information and direction then your phone service. I'm very displeased with your phone service and I will never use them again ever.

The manager was very helpful and nice, he set up auto pay for us and was very good at explaining all the basics of the location, he drew out a map and explained how to use everything very well. The storage units are really nice, it was very clean and seemed to be safe and in good condition. It was a great experience after a very tiring trip of moving, highly recommend everything related to Uhal.

I was told that that was a big unit I rented and I could barely get my washer and dryer and couch in Theresa well as 6 medium boxes! We spent over 3 hours trying to cram everything in there and rearrange the few items we was storing! So I am BEYOND dissatisfied and this will be the last time I rent from them and I definitely will not be recommending to anyone else!!!!

When COVID struck and people weren't making their regular income, such as myself, I got no help in trying to save my unit. It was over priced, but the only thing available to me at the time. They weren't willing to take payments on my balance. Only wanted full payment which I simply wasn't able to do, due to lesser hours being worked. My unit was sold because I just couldn't afford to pay the balance. So I had to let family heirlooms go. Very saddened and unhappy with my experience. I won't be back or rent a truck again.

This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The man who processed my transaction Sunday morning was shockingly rude. He seemed to have no idea what he was doing and got bitey with me when I asked questions about my rental agreement. I reserved a unit online and he told me it didn't exist, even when I offered to show him a screenshot of the confirmation page. He instead tried to get me to buy a much larger one (at over 50 % of the cost of what I'd ordered) without mentioning that another, only slightly larger, one (just $5 more) was available. I had to specifically ask if this was the case and only then did he conveniently find a comparable alternative in the system after I stood at the counter waiting for at least 15 minutes. When I told him I was having trouble getting the green zip tie off the door and asked if he had a pair of scissors I could borrow, he laughed at me, rolled his eyes, and smugly told me I needed to use my hands. I very much wish I'd chosen to use a different storage facility.

I like the facility and the majority of the staff were very helpful and friendly. I had two units. Upon closing the one, I was disappointed to remember you don't prorate rent, missed by a day.

I have always Used U-Haul for all My Storage Needs And Won’t go Anywhere Else

Never answer phones, ONE employee for forms & hook up equipment. You arrive at 9 a.m. to pick a reserved trailer, wait an hour then are expected to have a 24 hr. rental for 23 hrs.! Poor management.

I was very satisfied other then,not having 24hr. acsess to my storage. There should not be a phonammal fee to have access to my stuff. I feel that it is a gimmick to make more money.
