I will be using Uhaul's competition going forward. I"ve never seen a Uaul location so unprofessional,. I rented a truck and a trailer. The truck was literally falling apart and had no power steering fluid. Nobody did a walk around with us and I would have refused taking the truck as it was unsafe to drive on the road. I took pictures of the horrible condition which includes part of the side falling off and a craked windshield. As mentioned, I also rented a trailer and I got a phone call stating it hasn't been turned in yet when I dropped it off at 10:15 AM this morning. Now I have to go through anoter hassle - I hope to be compensated for the horrible experience and also the extra time I now have to spend in proving the trailer was turned in.

I was told by Dean on the phone and another gentleman that checked it in that they would make sure I was only charged for the fixed price that I had already paid. I then received an invoice/receipt for $335 additional. I emailed the contact back and haven’t heard. I am currently on the phone.

Trailer did not make it to end location(Oak Harbor Washington) and had to be dropped in Spokane cause there were no running lights at nite. Very little Help from pick up dealer and Should of refunded rental cost for trailer. But in stead just played the game on us and still had to go back to get Jeep in Idaho that was left there cause of problem's with your trailer.

have your lot attendant know how to direct a vehicle and secure the straps properly on a tow dolly. If the person was as inexperienced as he presented himself. If he was that inexperienced, a clerk could've come out and helped him. He also had trouble figuring out the placement of the chains to the hooks in the reinforcement. The other renter had to assist getting the straps and chains on. The office staff seemed competent.

You charged me $39 for a Truck I didn’t use. My original purchase online was for a 10 foot truck. I ended up using a 17 foot truck. But you still charge me for the original reservation. When I called to ask about getting the refund, Zack at the counter said that I purchased ready to go boxes that I did not use. I’m still waiting for the refund. I will call Visa to get the charges reversed if this isn’t fixed immediately.

Self return would not verify my miles traveled. I assume someone never entered the original odometer. I waited on hold for 1 hour for a phone rep at location to return. Finally just left equipment. Never received hard copy of contract. Oh well. Not using again if I don’t have to.

The first U-Haul I went to didn't have any trucks available so I had to drive all the way across town twice the miles they only had one truck I literally needed it for an hour pretty much at that point I didn't have no choice so I rented the truck The vehicle was absolutely disgusting inside and out have pictures and videos when I've checked it out when I returned the truck I expressed my disappointment and how nasty the truck was inside he told me he would give me a discount it would be $38 for the rental he stated it probably got checked in and checked back out without a cleaning wasn't going to leave a bad review till I check my bank statement this morning and I was charged $56 which one week prior I rented a truck it was $56 but I had twice the mileage and had it for 4 hours but at least that truck was clean nice and was worth the $56 absolutely disappointed on how nasty the truck was inside and I was charged the same when I was told it was going to be $38 even my email receipt said it was $38 how am I charged $56

My return was very far from my home, and I was getting charged for each mile I drove. I am a single woman and this location is not the best for after hour returns as it is downtown in a shady area of town. I do like the app, it makes it a lot easier to return the truck.

I tried the mobile app for the first time and it was a complete fail. I am very dissatisfied with the user interface and the endless questions. I realize that you are entrusting me with an expensive piece of equipment but really, it was ridiculous. And now you have all sorts of private information about me on file. So, please, erase my file. I will never use the mobile app again. In the end, I had to beg the staff to get me checked out the old fashioned way. Which they did but it wasn't easy. Staff was helpful and mostly friendly -- Jason (?)-- a guy that runs everywhere -- was super supportive and helpful and empathetic.

The truck inside the cab was very dirty. My self check out truck was not where indicated on the app and it was parked tightly between two other trucks making it very difficult to get out. I had to go in! Wait in line and they assigned me another truck that was easier to get to. Guy at check out was super nice. Called uhaul line to ask for another hour. Would have been nice of her to let me know I actually could have it for 24 hours from rent time. Guy at check out offered me a discount because of the poor communication

Would be good to have truck defects fixed....bottom rear view mirror broken, Rough driving, rear back up light not working. Original confirmed rental arrangement were changed without notification. Truck changed to a van. Staff was very helpful, they were put in an awkward situation to resolve and help us get the truck we needed for 24 hrs. Upon checking out they still charged for a dolly that because of the trouble they said that they would deduct the charge. We have used Uhaul many times but the service and quality and serviced equipment has quite noticeably has deteriorated. Also, Professionalism and business ethics and customer service are apparently lacking.

I booked a truck online in advance. I did the self check out Come to find out, the signal was completely ripped out. Tried to put me in a cargo van, FOR A PARADE FLOAT. Offered another truck, couldn’t find it in the system so they couldn’t check it out to me or it wouldn’t be in my name. Sent me to sunset location Called me halfway there. Truck showed up in the system FINALLY got my truck 45 minutes late AND I had my card charged 3 separate times. I’m fucking pissed about the experience, the multiple charges, the constant wait, crappy customer service, unattentive people and it’s always understaffed. I expect someone to reach out to me and discuss how you’re gonna give me my additional money back ($17.99 and $22.56) and credit me for the shitty experience. Email only.

hard to get into there lot,had to go around the block because of one way streets just to get into the office and yard,truck had food on the floor,the drivers seat was very uncomfortable to sit in for my 130 mile trip,but the employees where very nice, over priced per mile,,truck and mileage for just 146 was well over $300,way to much for a short trip 1 way locale

The equipment was older and the lady told us yes, it was older but was maintained and "it should get us there". When we asked where we should drop it off she didn't know, but it would be helpful if we could take it to Pasco ( 3 hours away and another 3 back plus gas, was she insane?) and when we wouldn't she couldn't tell us where and after a lengthy discussion and asking for a manager, (she said she was the manager),she told us we would just have to call dispatch to see where we could drop it off when we got to Spokane. When we got to Spokane they told us we could only drop it off at a site 20 miles away in heavy traffic. There were at least a dozen sites much closer. The dispatcher said she was sorry but there was nothing she could do but she would compensate us for the gas it would take to get the truck there. So we had to pack up our children who just got in from Portland and drive another 20 miles each way to take the truck to this site. The site then had no idea how to compensate us for the gas so we just left extremely frustrated and tired. When we used them to move 2 years ago we were told up front when and where we could pick up and drop off the truck which were very convenient sites, that is why we used them again. We don't think they we should be UHaul's delivery solution when it is so very inconvenient and costly. It would have been to your advantage to have transported your own vehicles to other sites if that is where you wanted them. We won't be using your service again or recommending you to others unless you change your policies.

Paperwork was all messed up. Vehicle on contract was different than actual truck. Correcting that took 15 minutes but didn't get credited to the contract. And because of that got charged for a second day even though it was returned in exactly 24 hours.

Weekday & weekend have a owner or supervisor there at the location to see how horrible & how many mistakes are being done. My truck that i oredered was given to another customer after i took the picture of the vehicle that i had resereved. The next truck provided was stated as too filthy for me to use. I ended up driving a third truck & got 3 contracts sent to my phone. Fiasco took over an hour to rent a truck even though i reserved online the night before. I will not be shopping there again if i can help it. even tho a small discount was provided. I texted the company asking to have a manager call me instead of texting-not a single rep called my number.

I was not helped with a damage assessment of the vehicle. When I asked, the associate did a very light walk-around, and called it good, saying I had insurance so no worries. Insurance doesn't cover roof damage, and there turned out to be unmarked damage to the roof, that was put on me. I wouldn't recommend this location, and it was only remedied by the people in Seattle being understanding. I'd recommend the new Sprague location, who gave us free moving blankets when we were told the downtown location was out.

I emphatically let them know that I had only this one day to get this hitch installed. No call; no response. I called an cancelled the installation. Assured it was done. It is lousy business practice to tell a customer who had pre-arranged for a particular size vehicle a month in advance, on the eve of picking up that specific-sized vehicle, that it was not available at the pre arranged location and make the customer take a vehicle far larger than the customer needed. In mitigation, Derrick and the guys at my pick up location did all they could to make a really lousy situation that they did not create as good as they could and I really appreciate their efforts. Your national schedulers need to know what is available at each location and not confirm bookings that are impossible and totally screw up people’s moves.

Location is crowded with boxes, flow in parking lot and inside store is unclear. Understaffing leads to long wait times if multiple customers arrive Trailer had a broken handle and a broken wire. Maintenance could be improved. That being said, both of the employees i dealt with (check in and check out) were fantastic, professional, and as fast as their technology would let them go

The two fellows, Derrius, and I’m sorry I didn’t get the others name, we’re very pleasant to work with. It goes a long way with me to be able to exchange in conversation, not only on why I’m there, but being able to talk to the agent on a personal level. They connected well with me and I would guess that the the connect well with other customers also. I had difficulty due to the personnel wanting to use my home phone number from a prior rental 6 months ago and this time I gave my cell phone and they kept calling my home phone and I wasn't home! When I called back because I hadn't heard from them, they asked for the phone number, I gave them my cell number and they would tell me I wasn't "in their system" and that I hadn't made a reservation. This happened twice in two days. I ended up giving them my cell number 4 times before they finally got it logged in.

My one problem is that I booked online and they set me up with an vehicle that is used for out of state use, and didn't communicate my equipment needs to the store. I was unable to do the mobile pick up and they had to scramble to get my needs met (which they did very well). Ya'll need to work on your online communication with your guys on the ground.

Well for starters better employees the one I was dealing with didn’t care about anything he tried to give me the wrong trailer for starters I backed up to the trailer and said that they didn’t have any more adapters for the trailer and that was no big deal until he said I have to go get one and you have 30 minuets till I cancel my reservation . I was picking up something and was to pick it up at 11:30 my reservation was at 10:30 so it gave me plenty of time wrong he didn’t have the paper work done casue he said it froze but it didn’t look like it I didn’t leave till 11:30 almost missed my time to pick it up and lost money thankfully I didn’t buy his is ridiculous I had to spend an extra 20$ for that stupid adapter I thought u haul was supposed to be helpful and prepared obviously not I will not do business again there my service was really poor and was really disappointed
