The entire staff was very professional and friendly. The work done for the hitch installation was done quickly and done well.
Courtney BooneGilbert tried charging me $100 for 'clearing' fees, which were really for dumpster fees, after I had already been told that I could use the dumpster for free. Gilbert was rude and yelled at me and my boyfriend when we contested the erroneous cleaning fee, I called the manager, and he had to come from home to resolve it. This entire process took over 90 minutes. The staff there gives U-Haul a bad wrap and due to my horrendous treatment, I will not be using U-Haul again. Gilbert and his continued disrespect and ill manners completely ruined U-Haul for me. I will NEVER use your company again. Your prices have gotten out of hand, your workers think customers don't matter.

Then the office front door is not visible from Miraliani.

Holly SwyneyI reserved the advertised 15' U-Haul and furniture dolly on December 18th for use on December 29th. I received my reservation number and confirmation email. The day before my moving date, a U-Haul representative called me to let me know that there would be no 15' U-Haul at any of the locations that advertised them so I could either upgrade for more money or downgrade to a 10' truck for $5 less. I am livid. No one needs this stress and frustration the day before a big move to a new city. I gave plenty of notice for U-Haul to deliver what I reserved in advance at the location as advertised. To further enhance the gals advertising experience, the dolly I reserved was nothing at all what was advertised, but instead was a hollow square with wheels stuck in the back of the U-Haul as I was leaving so that I got to my house before I ever realized I was again duped by U-Haul and given a worthless moving dolly for the price I paid for what was actually advertised. I had to stop what I was doing and drive across town again to return it. I plan to seek legal advice on this matter as this was beyond false advertising and a total waste of my time and money.

So even though I updated with a new card almost a year ago and was up to date on all my payments, your team claimed to not know how that lock got on there or why. Then they didn't want to cut the lock off for me. Wasted hours of my life trying to resolve that. Eventually I got to empty my stuff out and went to close out the contract. And when doing so I saw on their screen where it asked if the user was in the military. So I ask, "why would you need to know that?" To which they responded with, "because we have a military discount, did nobody ask you that when you rented the storage space?" To which I responded, "of course not!" So… by my calculations I lost out on about $288. But at least I had rude employees there to deal with on top of it. This is probably just one example of why the overall review on this particular establishment is 1-2 stars, depending on where you look. Lots of room for improvement at this place. Hope this helps.

When I first moved in an issue arose that I had inadvertantly neglected to properly lock and secure my unit. I received a call from the manager right away and when I explained I was living on the east coast and could not come in and correct the issue, he told me not to worry, that he could handle it for me (removing the old lock and putting a new one on the unit and holding the keys for me in the office. More recently I have been spending a great deal of time at the storage unit as I have been clearing out unit in preparation for a move back across the country to the east coast. Over the past month I have been there nearly every day and I have had many interactions with various members of the staff here. Everyone has been helpful, attentive, personable and generous with their time. The manager, Caroline, has been always professional, prompt and efficient in handling issues; she has been very generous and kind as well. She deserves recognition too, for taking good care of all the many details that also contribute to making this business exceptional. The facility is kept clean (even the bathroom is spotless!); and the temperature is always comfortable. The best thing of all of though is all of the people who work here, and what a great job they do of taking care of customers. I truly am going to miss all of them.

I gave away a lot of good furniture in the facility's community area, as well as a few items to a U-Haul employee. You hold out, hoping things turn around in your life, and nothing happens. Thank You, U-Haul corporate and the Miramar U-Haul facility for the storage unit move out offer. I've rented about 40 U-Haul trailers in the past 4 years or so. I'm sorry you incurred a financial loss in my storage unit rent on my behalf. I'm looking forward to seeing brighter days ahead in my life. I am a long term U-Haul customer. Thanks Again. IT and the about 2 weeks later he tells me I need a subpoena to see the tapes your storage facility is bulkshit you guys don’t care and you should take the sign off that says we record to help if this situation happens and that is a lie I was told I need a subpoena and there are no cameras here my unit was I just bought over 1500 dollars of brand new decorations and plus the ones I had I there all gone and I was treated very crappy but the employees and no one helped me so now I am going g to seek a lawyer or I am going to the news because I think the employees are on drugs or something worse situation ever I paid my storage on time never late and I get treated like this hate to see how you treat people who don’t pay

They were very attentive to my need, let me choose my space from a map he has highlighted prior to my arrival, I let him know what I needed and he pointed my to the best one available that met my needs. I had been stressing out about the move because I sold my house and promised to be out for the buyers by 8/31 but my escrow still have closed on my new home so I had been staying up until 2-3am the few days before the actual move day and was running behind schedule. They were very accommodating and changed the MI date from 8/31 to 9/1 and gave me a few hours grace period on the truck return. They put me at ease had that had a really positive impact on my move into storage. Sal the check in attendant was excellent as well. Over all I received excellent customer service above and beyond of what I was expecting given my past experiences. Merci.

Bryan Wilson | Expérience généraleWith no cameras and no Solid ceiling I had $20 000 worth of bicycles removed out of my storage through the wire roof I don't know when This happened I have not been to my storage in over a year but I got a phone call from the facility saying there's a possible break in so I was able to send a friend to look and there's a big open spot on the floor where the bikes were and a big opening in the chicken wire ceiling. Because of the value of the bikes I called the police they went and investigated and there were no cameras up in the ceiling so there's no evidence of who took them Will it be in an air condition controlled facility I understand they might not be able to secure The ceiling or they would have to have some ventilation in the ether individual room but there's no excuse not to have video coverage above the units
