I rented the space online but when I got in the store, I was told that somebody else had already rented that space and was moving in on the same day I was suppose to. It took them almost 4 days to put my money back on my card

The staff was AWFUL. Absolutely zero customer service. Every employee had a terrible attitude. I waited in the store alone for 10+ minutes before anyone showed up & then the first thing that was said to me was “what do you need?” I had a reservation & the truck that I reserved was not available. I will NEVER give my money to this location (or any other) ever again. I really hope someone reads this and reaches out to me. Overall bad experience.

I drove only 5 miles... When I topped off the tank, it took 3 gallons... At current prices, that was almost $8... That comes to .6 miles per gallon or $2.66 per mile... While this is not a great amount of money to some, as a retired Sr. Citizen on a fixed income, small amounts add up and make or break my budget... I also had difficulty in getting a trailer hitch at this location months ago and had to seek another establishment for installation... In the future, I will only consider UHaul if no other avenues are available...

Only suggestion is to place the address of the uhaul location on the outside for the building window so it can be snapshot to upload as a replacement for” sharing your location “. I had trouble with that on my phone so it wouldn't let me complete the process via the internet.

I want to say this location was good, but the process to return a trailer after hours was a huge frustration and time wasting. I returned the trailer at approx 9:20 pm and wasn't able to successfully use your website for return. It continued to say unable to find location. I called Cust service and waited on hold for over 25 minutes. I then finally emailed some pics to a Cust service rep. She said there is no way for me to see if they arrived until after I hung up so I called back and waited about 18 min for next rep and they confirmed pics were received and I didn't have to pay the extra $20 for not using the website to correctly drop off trailer. Here's my thoughts, why in the world would I need to pay you to bring back your trailer early after trying diligently to use your system to return. This experience makes me want to go to Home Depot or Sunbelt to rent my trailers from now on. Daniel Thompson

The gas level was wrong. It was less than 1/2, but the paperwork was at 5/8. I noticed this after leaving Uhaul. I was charged $20 for an after hour service fee. I used to work for Uhaul for 4 years and never heard of this. I believe I should be refunded $20.

Tried to drop off truck at Sunday at 6:45pm for the Monday at 7:04am. Could not get on Uhaul.com from the location. I did leave the truck but went to back to the location Monday at 7:00 to finish contract. Went fine just but extra trip was frustrating. The only issue with the truck was any speed over 50 moved the drivers side mirror to collapse into truck making side visibility impossible. While driving, opening window to readjust Murrow was difficult and dangerous.

Phone wouldn't let me check the truck in due to service and location issues. I ended up getting charged a extra $20. Some people can't afford the best phone service to be able to get a good enough signal for your “rules” at your location.

Most of the staff are professional, but there are a few that sit behind the counter and talk the entire time without helping customers. One was talking badly about prior customers, like saying how women don't know anything about hitches or how the customers irritate them. Pay more attention to how your staff behaves and talks to customers. It could lead to a liability,

I purchased Safemove and was told by customer service that this would insure the vehicle rental. After reading the brochure terms and conditions it only covered contents. Waste of purchase for 20 foot length of copper pipe and 21 foot length of black pipe. Copper pike weight was around 1,600 pounds and black pipe weight was around 1,600 pounds. You left me open for lawsuit for not having the proper insurance. The 26 foot box truck actual mileage was 23445.6, however; the rental agreement had 23445.0 at $0.99 cents a mile. This was for 50.4 miles I traveled. Actual mileage I traveled is 49.8. The $0.99 is being charged for the tenth of a mile as well. There was no walk around for the checkout of vehicle. This is to be done by the customer and their Smartphone. Tag light was not working.

He was very helpful in providing instructions about the piece of equipment I rented and explaining the contractual agreement. The non local customer service agent who helped me over the phone did a superb job. However, 2 of the 3 customer counter employees were very unhelpful. We rented a truck and storage unit, so we dealt with 3 different employees. The employee that was helpful was brand new and did a great job answering questions and directing us to our unit.

I will never rent with them. This is a scam. After talking to someone to set up a move out day and pay a settlement offer because I was effected by Covid. They continued to charge me for miscellaneous things Causing my bill to go up to a thousand dollars and tried to sell my items to get nothing and then tell me I still owe a thousand dollars.

The staff is rude. Aside from the date I signed my contract, whenever I have to speak with the staff they have a tendency to make one feel unimportant and that I am an interruption to whatever they have going on. They often park equipment in the way of the door to the storage units creating a trip hazard. When you ask them to move it they are always too busy to do so in a timely fashion. When moving out I called to cancel my contract. the rep stated that its not really a contract and all i have to do is move out. I asked him to please make a record of my move out anyway. I then started receiving late notices with assessed fees so I called back in. the rep noted said she would e-mail the store to notify them of my original move out date but would not copy me on that e-mail nor provide a copy for my records. I find that policy absurd. She stated all calls are recorded and that if needed I could get said recording. When I requested it she put me on hold and after 20 minutes i gave up. The only saving grace for this particular facility was the price. That said I did get a letter notifying me that the price was increasing on my unit. With all this in mind, no I would not recommend this facility, especially for storage rentals. Additionally, after my support experiences with your company, I will shop other brands before choosing a uhaul location in the future.

I did not keep the unit and rated below average because there was no light. I had to use a lantern, flashlight or my cell phone flashlight in the unit which was very inconvenient.
