The car hauler wasn't clean, it was muddy from last use, also we had an issue with the drop of location (Naples Florida) being a total of 1 hour round trip, when there was a uhaul in Bonita Springs Florida literally minutes away, we called customer service and got transfered to over 5 or 6 departments with one rudely hanging up on us, We should not be expected to be a uhaul transporter for your convenience and our inconvenience without compensation our time and money are important to us as well, we would like further corrective actions and not just being patronized by communicating to a (feedback) site!Duane K.

my experience today moving in was very challenging. There was a clear staff shortage, so the front desk person made several mistakes that delayed me from accessing my unit for up to 90 minutes. When I eventually received my unit, I got a 5x5x7 unit instead of a 5x8x10 unit. This forced me to throw out the rest of my furniture that did not fit. Knowing that I can not afford to come on weekdays with my demanding COVID workload at the hospital. I'm still being charged the price of the 5x8x10 for the 5x5x7. I kindly request an arrangement the is fair and compensate for the loss of my furniture and time. I needed more space than what my unit was. I wanted to buy another unit because my movers were packing my unit. I was trying to avoid paytmy movers additional money. I asked if I could rent another. The young lady at the desk said there weren't any left. I went to my car to look for myself. I found what I needed. So I rented an additional unit easy! Thank goodness I checked for myself. The business is always clean and neatly organized but the workers there needs a little more training on being personable, and it's always pretty much a long wait when they assist you with something, I'm not all about speed but the length of time it takes for them to complete a reservation or any order is nerve- racking. I don't know if it's the system or them but it's convenient and cost effective, and I appreciate that to the highest.:)Elnoa W.

Steve, the manager, and the young woman that checked me in were terrific. Very helpful and they explained everything to me very clearly. I was very very impressed. The original unit I was supposed to get, 7045, was occupied so they quickly found another unit very close, 7041, and an employee showed me where to go. When I came back downstairs the first young woman that helped me met me in the lobby to give me an updated copy of my contract which showed the reversal of unit 7045 and the addition of unit 7041. Great problem solving skills and attentive to me to not make me wait in line again to get my updated contract. Awesome. The facility was spotless and all of the security cameras and monitors, card swiping etc make me feel very confident that my belonging are secure.Mike O. | Premières impressions

This location is definitely better than most. My truck had its engine light on and a broken driver's side visor, which I constantly had to move to keep it out of my field of vision. My biggest complaint is the check-in/check-out process. I totally understand the COVID precautions but placing the responsibility on the customer to locate prior damage by comparing a photo to the actual truck, is not a good practice I feel. Most phones are small and with daytime glare, it is very hard to see an image outdoors. I feel it is best to have an agent check the trucks in and out, so as to catch any problems. Not all people have cell phones believe it or not. I just feel this is unfair to the customer that they "catch" prior damage or they are responsible for that damage.Ronald W.

The vehicle I rented was almost out of Fuel,... at or below 1/4 tank. I should have refused it. This made my moving experience very inconvenient as I had to Re-Fuel before using the vehicle, resulting in loss of time! It was similar to hiring a Cab or Uber to go to Work in the morning and the driver has to stop for gas en-route to my destination,... NOT COOL, Also the Ramp was almost impossible to Extend, Lock, and Retract due to previous usage. I have rented numerous times in the past from the Baltimore Street location, and have been satisfied. My truck rental was fine. However, I also rented a storage unit to store my new items in before moving into my apartment on 12/21. I checked into my storage unit when I picked up the truck at 4:45pm today (11/9/2021), but the workers at Uhaul never took me to make sure my unit was open/available. They sold me a lock, but did not take me to see my unit. They told me it would be ready when I got back. At 7:05pm, I got back to the facility with my belongings in the back of the uhaul. When I took everything up to my storage unit, my unit was locked. It was clearly being occupied by someone else. I called the number in my storage unit confirmation email. The man who answered said he was in Arizona and couldn't do anything to help me except connect me to customer service to file a complaint. I sat on hold waiting to speak to customer service for 45 minutes before giving up. During that time, I found an empty, handicap storage unit. I locked my stuff in there. I had no where to put my brand new belongings - over $15K in new furniture and needed it to be safe. I will now need to go back tomorrow morning to explain what happened and make sure my belongings are safe. All around terrible customer service and did not get what I paid for. I realize mistakes happen, but I paid for one thing and did not get it. Can someone please contact me to remedy this situation as soon as possible? Thank you, Travis Scadron 248.459.9477Travis S.

So glad to have a uhaul within walking distance of my work. I work with Veteran's and often they need assistance moving and so I provide that service when it comes my way. I waited in line for an hour to pick up a cargo van rental. There was 1 guy working the register doing the best he could. He needed at least 1 other person working another register to handle the amount of customers in line. Then when I finally got into the van, it had a low tire pressure message. The guy working assured me it was fine and that it was just a sensor issue, but it was very unnerving to drive a vehicle with a low pressure message. This facility will be very convenient, accessible during foul weather conditions with its covered loading and unloading facility. There are plenty of moving dollies available free of charge to move your personal items back and forth between your locker and vehicle. I like that the units are climate controlled especially during the colder part of the year or summer time. Staff are very friendly and helpful and you can get all your packaging needs on site. The staff was slow, unclear, and unhelpful. Instructions to get to my unit were unclear and the code that they gave me for the elevator didn't work. Every time I opened my unit the alarm would sound because the system did not sign the unit over to me. Most of the staff, except for one, was unhelpful about this and it was not resolved. Storage Card did not provide eleavator access to 7th floor when I attempted to move in items after unloading. I wasted more than an hour reloading items after I found out elevator would not allow me to go to the 7th floor. Thank you for all of your help during the coronavirus outbreak. I know you are all working hard, while trying to keep safe and healthy. My moving guys reported a less-than-stellar move-in experience. The man driving the truck had to wait 45 minutes for someone to move a car out of the driveway in, and said he couldn't get in without it being moved. He had to wait 15-20 minutes for people to come up and down on the elevators to get them in and out of the units too.
