Nervous about driving the van during the storm we asked Iselda if we could postpone reservation to the followinh day. She immediatly moved the reservation to the following day, Sun. Isela couldn't have been more understanding, couteous & professional. L M

The agent, (she gave her name but I forgot; it began with M like Michap or like that) was also training at the same time which she handled efficiently. The trainee too was helpful and attentive; a reflection of the training she was receiving. Great team, I was crunched for time and they got me out of there with time to get back to work. 5+ stars

evelyn riveraThe oil change required ldisplay came on each time I started the van after sitting for awhile. The display then turned off after a few seconds. The van was a very smooth ride.

Salvatore Zappalawhen you say the tank is full and the tank is not really full cuz when I leave the lot and the tank shows right after 5 or 10 me that the tank is losing already gas so that's not a really full tank that's first of all second of all the car always needs a oil change third of all and it wasn't so much service

Mark SeeglerTruck had no power. Trucks front suspension needs work, a dangerous amount of play in the steering. The grime on the inside of the windshield made it hard to see with the sun glare.

ANDREWW L RAWDINGFabric seats need better deep cleaning because the van I rented smelled awful, really awful, like sweat and body odor. The fabric seats need to either be covered or deep cleaned better because the smell a very strong and i feel it seeped into my clothes. Lithe then that, friendly staff, fast and professional.

MARYF LOVEThe young woman who helped me was very good - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A suggestion: the 6x12 trailer I rented (which I have rented multiple times before) REALLY needs a tongue jack. It is difficult and potentially dangerous to have to deadlift the tongue on and off the hitch. Please consider this.
Guy LesterTrailer was picked up and when I got to my house and opened it I saw it had spilled polyurethane in it and the fumes and the smell of it was terrible and was sticky but I had to rush to my destination... and I right away called up and reported what I found so I won't be charged for it... but I was sure they will offer me a discount for it.. I'm not the type to ask but cmon bruh.. I has to cover the trailer with plastic so I can use it

GRANT MILLERThis location is woefully understaffed. The workers there are spread too thin and it means that there are often long lines, not enough adequate parking (some ancillary parking spots appear to not be painted to code) and a single staff member is left running around trying to juggle the work of a team of 4.
David FishelI have had three hitches put on different vehicles in the last five years. I have always used this U-Haul because it's close to my home. I dropped the car off in the morning and showed up around two for pick up. because no one was answering my calls. I felt uncomfortable leaving it there that morning because the tech kept implying that would take much longer than the hour. It was supposed to be rated. Honestly, if they didn't have my car lifted, I would've taken it and gone somewhere else. They said it would be done around five or six. When I arrived to pay, they had billed me for 6 1/2 hours of labor, but discounted me three hours. They said that it took so long because they were training someone. Fine but why am I charged for training. I asked to speak to a manager and they said her name was on the door. Her name- no phone number or store location- was on the door but I tried to call the next day no answer, and the same happened the next day after that. I feel that I was overcharged and it would've been nice of them to do the right thing.

Marlene MedinaI had a great experience with the employees at this location. They were knowledgeable and courteous. I was hoping to have the equipment brought to the location that I had booked online as my pick-up point given the amount of time they had when I reserved it. It would have been a lot closer.
James HargroveU-Haul Moving & Storage of New Windsor 300 Windsor Hwy was not my initial pickup location. My initial pick-up location was 5336 Rte. 9 W Newburgh, NY. Which is right next door to my home. I was very unhappy because When I arrived, I was notified via U-Haul app that no equipment was assigned to my reservation. when I received the confirmation call 11/18/23 I stressed that I was under very strict time constraints so I'm very disappointed. I ended up having to drive 30 mins away from my home to another location and everything was pushed back 1 hour so I'm not happy at all.
Carl TillmanI received the truck with 1/4 a tank of gas. Where I had to get gas quick. Then I had to guess how much gas to put in it to bring it back at 1/4 of a tank again. That is not fair. I would think getting it full and bringing it back full would be fair.

Aaron AndersonSomeone not having used uhaul before naively chose 4 hours as the rental time. Van was not returned for approximately 6 hours and an entire day fee of $99 was charged. Yes it's in the contract - Clause 7 of 23 clauses - but if 20 hours is the same cost as 4 hours or 6 hours or 13 hours, common decency and customer courtesy would be to make a customer aware of that. And when I called and questioned this, the on site manager indicated that customers are told this verbally at rental. So I said, you made that statement on this rental and then she said no she did not. So please don't just make up things. And she twice mentioned the rate if $18,95 and I can't see what that rate has to do with this rental. I asked for her superior, she stated she did not have a superior, that she was the site manager. After I asked for second time, maybe the third, to speak with a higher up so she gave me a name and number and told me I could call if I wanted but he wouldn't do anything differently and would only back her up. And I asked if call was recorded as I hoped it was being recorded and the message at beginning of call indicates it may be recorded. She said it probably was not. Also, the online verification of return was done a few hours after the truck was returned. The site indicated it was returned at 9 something the next morning which is wrong. And they had charged the credit card the $20 fee for that service. She said that would be credited because she must have noticed that when I called about the other issue and she looked at the account. That $20 has not yet been credited but that had better be done soon. Bottom line, that policy of 4,7, 8.5, 20 hours or whatever number of hours under 24 hours costing the same fee, especially when that information is 2 lines buried in a 4 page contract. Is totally contrary to decent customer service.
