Another location closed and when I was 15 minutes late for my reservation, I could not get my truck. They had not told me that would be a problem. Very frustrating. But I called the Auburn location and they had a truck and accommodated me at the last minute on a Sunday afternoon.

It took three weeks for us to get our stuff from a trip we made in two days. We were led to believe they delivered to the house and then they said they were 30 min away and we had to rent a truck to get it. It’s fine if it was a simple misunderstanding, but my husband asked specifically about our driveway and the person on the phone said our driveway was fine and they have ways to go up the driveway. I will not use this service again. I’ve already told several people not to use it and will tweet that and put on all my social media as well

There was a dispute over the charge for mileage. Fortunately my son, who drove the truck, took a picture of the dashboard before he drove it. It proved we were right about the number of miles we drove. But they very graciously refunded the overcharge. So all is well.

The 15' truck I rented was filthy and smelled like cigarettes. The vehicle drove very rough and felt like it was going to stall, alot of shaking.The flat rate for renting this truck was overpriced. I only needed it one way from Kent WA to Ellensgurg WA. Picked it up at 9AM and dropped it off by 2 PM the same day. Cost $350.00. There should be a one day rental, instead of no other options than a two day rental. Complete rip off. Will never use this service again, nor recommend to anyone.

We reserved a 26 foot truck, and had to take a 20 footer when we got there. Also we were told at the reservation time that we had the truck for 10 hours. I called to see about having it longer than 10 hours. And we were told our time was cut down to nine hours because someone else was coming for the same truck later. Nobody called to let us know any of this information. If I hadn’t called to extend it we wouldn’t of known. That’s very bad customer service.

I don't want to say that this location was "bad" in all respect - they were reasonably professional and the wait was not too long. The person hooking up the trailer did a good job. What we did not like was the fact that the trailer was not properly cleaned - we had to sweep it out before loading our household into it. There was also a lot of packing tape still plastered to the walls, left over from somebody else's rental. Just not what we expected, especially since our previous rental from U-haul was spotless on pick-up. Other than that, no complaints - the equipment worked well.

What you need is more employees. I felt so bad for the young man behind the counter. He did what he could but i still had to wait for over an hr to get the truck i had reserved. I also did express check out. Alot of good that did. I had a job to do and because it took alnost an hour and a half i missed my deadline. What should have been a money making deal ended up costing me a fortune in travel miles. I cant believe how much you charged me for milage. You online system is also a joke..it wouldnt let me out my payment info in or let me do the check in when it was returned..never renting from uhaul again.

I do have to admit I had a horrible experience with having to come back 3 times but if it wasn’t for James pinelle I wouldn’t have kept coming back. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and taken care of. Words can not express enough how much I appreciate him and his efforts. :)

This is the most worst experience with install hitch two weeks to install hitch. And then install the hitch without wiring. Today my appointment for wiring left my car from 8:00 to 4:00 no one touch my car after question they answered we are busy . Like they will install for me for free . And if you busy why you gave me an appointment. Unorganized and unprofessional.

I ended up getting a 6X12 trailer when I ordered a 5X10 and was told this location had one. Fortunately the 6X12 worked but I would have been pissed if I hadn’t been able to make the 6X12 work and would have had to go to a different location. Make sure you have the equipment available when you tell someone you do

I have rented car transports multiple times. as recently as last week. This was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I had to wait 20 minutes to get hooked up, I was rented a damaged trailer, I had to teach the person hooking up the equipment how to secure the jack so it wouldn't drop while driving. I return the transport, have to wait 30 more minutes to get unhooked. the person doing that, decided to let me wait for people who came in AFTER ME. Being transgender, I KNOW when I am being looked down on, and this person clearly had an issue with how I look, present and live. Even my son mentioned that he noticed it. I am absolutely disgusted with my transaction and I feel UHaul should, at minimum, refund my rental since I was rented broken/damaged equipment. I arrived at 10:40 am for my 11 am reservation. There was a line of about 10 people and it took 45 minutes before I was at the front of the line. There were only 2 employees assisting at the time. This was Memorial Day weekend - being short staffed seems negligent to your customers. The transaction went smoothly and the girl that helped me gave me the keys and told me where to look for my vehicle. I went outside and located it - only to discover that my cargo van was boxed in by other Uhaul vehicles. I still couldn’t leave. I walk back inside and go up to the counter and let the girl know the situation. She seemed annoyed, not concerned, and told me I’d have to wait. I told her I’d already been waiting almost an hour at that point and had to get going and to send someone out to assist me quickly. No response. I go outside and locate another employee who was assisting another customer. I explain to him that I have to be somewhere and that my vehicle is boxed in. He told me it was going to be at least 15-20 more minutes. He was in the middle of attaching a hitch to a vehicle - more time consuming to say the least. It would’ve taken him 2 min to move a vehicle so i could leave. He didn’t care. No one there seemed to give a damn. I waited another 15 min at which point the guy that was attaching the hitch walked over, moved the vehicle that was blocking mine and never said a word. Nothing. Not, I’m sorry for the inconvenience or anything. He’s clearly irritated. So unprofessional and the worst customer service I’ve experienced in awhile. There is never anyway but going down to the location to ensure you will get your boxes when you request them. Calling the call center just lets you talk to a live person who ISN'T at the location. All they do is leave a message which NEVER EVER gets returned. I had to drive over 100 miles to make sure my boxes would be there when I wanted them. Saturday was my second attempt at accessing my boxes. Because of this system in place no one got my message and pulled my boxes the first time I called and left a message with your call center. This is a stupid system and the biggest downfall!!

If a customer who has spent over $6,000 in truck rentals in less than a years time tells the new general manager that is my car right there then dont impound it. If said manager does impound it and you call customer service so you can discuss the issue with management ABO him do not let the general manager immediately close the case. If you call again and have it reopened and state that you still would like to speak to someone other than the general mananger about this don't let three days pass and when you call again only to be told Andrew Salts stated to give me the phone number to reach him and when I try that number I'm told he doesn't have a voice mail I can leave a message at. If the staff that day that ends up taking that call says they will forward an email stating I called then DO have Andrew Salts at least call. This never would have happened under the last manager. The last manager never would have stated that the staff at that locations were Nazis especially in the office and would never have turned around and impounded my car directly after thanking me for informing him what car was mine. The case has been closed now at customer service so I can't even update it to say no one has reached out to me. Your organization has shown it's true colors. I would have liked to find a way to remedy the $750 I paid in impound fees or at the very least discussed simple ways this could have been resolved and make sure this new manager does what he can to eliminate issues like this in the future. I see my app allows me to put a car in my profile? Would this have helped ? Maybe , I can't tell. I have been completely cordial and polite to everyone I have spoken to in regards to this matter yet apart from the very kind and considerate help from those in customer service have been shown no professionalism in return.

Not very knowledgeable or helpful. They directed us to stall 26. We walked all over looking. Finally found it in front. They wanted us to return truck in 12 hours even though we paid for 24. (We returned the truck in 3 hours) Then when we got back he didnt want to give me a receipt. I dont think he knew how. We had to wait for someone else to help. We where do at a oral surgeon appointment soon after.

To start, the outside of the van I rented at this location was dirty. The service car/van lights were on on the dash it was in need of an oil change the tire pressure was off and it rattled before I got over 20 miles an hour.The inside of the of the passenger section was dirty as well. This is my favorite location to rent from and I was a bit disappointed about the cleanliness of the van when I picked it up at 9 PM. Also there was a scratch on the outside of the passenger side that wasn’t reported from the last renter before we rented it. Thanks again for your amazing service and we’ll continue renting from you.

the location was fine but everything about the online and call support was horrible. I reserved a truck to be picked up in one city and dropped 70 miles south in another. Not only did they not have the vehicle their only solution was to rent me a smaller truck and trailer with a set pickup time. I had to drive an extra 30 miles to pick up the truck and was informed when I got there that the trailer would not be available until late morning the next day. They ended up sending me to another city to pick up the trailer, and still made me return the units to 2 different cities or be charged. The also forgot to put on the hand truck they assured me was in back. These issues were not the locations fault but I sure got the impression that his happens regularly.

My containers were delivered to the wrong location. I called about this the night before my loading date and was told they would be moved first thing the next morning. After about three phone calls they were moved at about 2 in the afternoon. This was the one and only day I had available to load, which caused considerable hardship for me. I subsequently called to ask to have a portion of my payment refunded to compensate me, but received only a pittance. I am not a satisfied customer and will look for other options next time. Nor will I recommend U-Haul.

I ONLY deal with Uhaul because I can't afford Pods. For the Minnesota location- no matter how many times I called in advance, it was never ready. I had to wait 2 hours each time to access it even when I called more than 24 hours before as they insist. Also, this is the 2nd time stuff has gone missing from my Ubox. I have to file a claim, several things were missing and someone threw furniture pads in there that were not there when I closed it in MN before coming to WA, so someone obviously got in there. Staff at WA location were okay. Overall- I don't recommend AT ALL unless you can't afford something better

Upon move out, being required to sweep out the unit is not a big deal, however it becomes a big deal when there is no trashcan in the facility to throw away dirt, dust, loose ends.

I have mixed reviews for my uhaul experience. The uhaul in North Auburn is fantastic. Everything you might want and expect. But, uhaul’s roadside assistance is nonexistent. No response at all.
