When I made arrangements on the phone to drop the van off after hours, there was no place to secure the key! I was able to catch an employee before he had left the office and give him the key. He told me it was their policy due to vandalism that they don't usually allow after hours drop off even though we were looking at a sign that stated 24/7 drop off!! I would not recommend this facility, if I hadn't found someone still there I would have needed to make an extra trip in the morning to bring them the key!! I have never had issues like this before. If this is there policy they should take down the 24/7 posters and post signs that reflect no after hours drop offs! They should also indicate this to customers when they arrive to pick up their equipment! This office was a poor example of U-haul!!

I reserved a truck for 1/15 to pull the Ubox with. On the reservation form, I noted that I am picking up a Ubox and gave the order number. My thinking was they will have it all hooked up and ready to go. NO. I get there Saturday morning, the two guys at the front desk said I can't get my Ubox today because the guy who pulls the uboxes will get angry and won't do it. I waited an hour until he showed up to work just in case he can pull my ubox. NO. So I had to reschedule for Monday. Yes, I had helpers waiting to unpack, Yes- I reserved the elevator at my apartment. Now for Monday- The front desk ladies were fantastic. The only problem I encountered was that one of the pins for the ubox ramp was missing. No biggie though. My beef is with the Saturday crew. That was customer service at it's worst.

clarification of location response. it was excellent if you lived close by. But I live 30 minutes away and there was no closer location to choose.1 hour to pick it up and another hour to return it. That's a big chunk of my day.

When we got there they went to start the truck that I reserved. However, apparently somebody had stolen the catalytic converter out of that truck and they didn't have any other truck in that size available. So I asked if they had a 20 foot truck but they only had a local move one. Then he said there was one that I could still return to Tumwater. However, later in the day after I had the truck somebody from U-haul called and said I had to return it to Lakewood instead which was another 20-30 miles from where I wanted to return it. Not a good experience. Trucks should be checked out before the customer arrives. The truck I ended up getting also had the door seal coming out so the door didn't close very securely and had an air leak.

My only concern is the closest 20' truck was 30+ miles away from my loading point. This created a major inconvenience. Otherwise, pick up and destination locations were excellent with the customer service. Overall a good experience and a very good experience. From the customer service teams.

Our experience with the UHaul Supercenter Auburn team was absolutely positive and we heartily recommend them for anyone with a simple or a complicated move. The management and crew were beyond helpful, capable,and knowledgeable. We could not have proceeded through the stages of our large move without their knowing and watchful eyes. My partner and I were recognized by every staff member, and our move was fully tracked by management and staff throughout the entire process. I would not have had the trust to commit to the U-Box service without knowing that the management team would be on top of scheduling the boxes for packing, moving, and transport out of state. Their recent changes in storage area hours and rental policies effectively mitigated the impact of non-storage activities. I applaud the management team for their willingness to adapt the storage rental and facility policies to protect the safety of UHaul customers. Beyond the policies, they also carefully and consistently watch the security camera feeds, and maintain a strong presence with frequent walk throughs. Attention UHaul Corporate: UHaul SupercenterAuburn management and staff are a DREAM TEAM. Please continue tp provide them the autonomy they need to respond to any shifting challenges at this facility.

There was no lock in the locker so I had to go to the office to get it which makes the online move-in option worthless. It was also secured with a super strong zip-tie so someone from the office had to come out to break it for me. The limited access hours are a problem as I planned to organize my storage over the holiday but the office is closed so I can't access my storage on that day.

Unfortunately the people at the desk where not very friendly, no smiles, no how are doing, just what can I do for you. Very very much not a friendly visit picking up the truck. No one was very personable, no one was out going. Dropping the truck you had one lady sitting at the desk to left when you walk in no greeting. When I came in, even though when your with a customer you take 30 sec to someone when they come in and acknowledge them. I have been in customer service and training people in customer service of 20 years I can tell 100 % that you folks don't train your people correctly. Very much a very unprofessional customer service. It's to bad you guys don't train people the correct way about customer service because one bad experience with one person equals to that person to tell 100 but one great customer service turns into a 1000.. it was not worth me spend 134 dollars. Will be probably voice my review on yelp, will think about it first.

James Ngaarah did a fantastic job of installing the hitch in my SUV! I have hands free tail gate feature, James explained, how the hitch will not disturb that. James deserves 5 stars for the installation and kudos to Uhaul Auburn for employing James.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, even went as far as helping me unload a few items to get me out quicker because I had stayed a few minutes behind closing time to finish unloading and to drop off equipment.. Don't remember his name, wore a Scooby-Doo hat, but he deserves a raise!

The staff have worked with us throughout our very intensive and large move. The managers and staff have worked with us every step of the way to provide every need. UHaul corporate needs to provide this center with 24 hour security officer to eliminate the endless targeting of this location and the fleet by the army of homeless. A full time security officer at the entrance, monitoring the loading dock is needed to keep your paying customers safe.

The trailer was dirty with dry paint or drywall mud and what may have been some dog poop on the floor smeared at the entry. The trailer was also damaged and the fender bent was almost running the tires. May have been when hitting bumps.

Don't be lazy the dude in the Dunder mifflin hat was lazy and didn't wanna pull out the trailer so it took forever to try to pull it out with the truck blocking 5 people from getting through and making a tough situation out of just hooking up a trailer and leaving. After he realized he messed up he just left and went inside and I'm assuming his manager is the one that actually pulled the trailer out hooked us up and got us on our way. Something that should take no longer then 10 mins took almost an hour to do causing me to be late to pick up my car. Get your stuff together and hire someone who wants to work rather then stand there and tell you how to back up a trailer just to find out he doesn't know what he's doing then when he realizes he messed up runs away like a coward.

This location was good customer service. We had stopped at another location prior to this one that had extremely poor customer service the address of that location is 35205 enchanted pkwy s federal way 98003. The customer service rep there ( I did not get his name) had no interest in helping fulfill my needs, I did not feel welcomed or that my business was wanted please review the employees there and teach them the importance of customers. $39,99 / day is a joke. It's bordering on bait and switch. Charging $1,87/mile (or whatever exorbitant fee it actually is â€" still waiting for an emailed receipt) causes the daily rate to be more like $200/day.

I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes to get my truck. When I got the truck it stunk of smoke and had mud all over the steering wheel, door, and dash. I went back in to notify them so I wouldn't be charged. They said they'd come look at it. Another 20 minutes wasted. They offered to clean it, but by then I was already running late.

The staff were friendly, skilled, and overworked. Getting to speak to a person in the facility on the phone was nearly impossible. (The national desk did set up the pickup and return of the U-box very well.).

Was a little chaotic. The first person to help me was great. The second was rude and walked away without saying anything. I asked her if I should follow her and she said you can do whatever you want!! The 3rd person was wearing a tag that said owner and she was very helpful but it seems the whole computer system needs repair. It took several attempts to get my order completed. Overall the experience was good.

Good location and the staff was friendly. Getting a truck with a quarter tank of gas and then being asked to return it at the same level is a nuisance. I've rented a U-Haul at least 6 times in my life and I don't think it's ever been over half a tank. Just fill them up and have the customer return them full so I'm not having to guess where half a tank is.

The lock was not in my locker making the online ordering and check-in worthless because I still had to go to the office and speak to someone to get my lock. I already unloaded my car and went to the locker before I found out it wasn't there, so I had to leave my things unsecured to go to the office. I wasn't impressed with the attitudes of the people in the office who seemed annoyed I was asking them for the lock

Fill the tank! It was ¼ full when I got it and I had 100 mi. to drive that day. It's not so easy to pull into a gas station with a 26 foot box truck.

Reserved and got a confirmation for a 26' truck at a close location - got a confirmation email and it was confirmed in our account. Called the day before and they had also confirmed it - then day of our move they tell us it's at a different location 15 min north (30 extra min round trip twice). Get to the location and they don't have a 26' truck the biggest they have is 20' and it doesn't have any gas in it AND we were charged the same price as if we had gotten the 26'. Due to this it took way longer to travel for pickup/drop off and we had to take 2 extra trips due to the smaller truck, not a fun day when moving is already stressful. Not happy and will not be planning by to use uhaul again, which is sad because we had used them so much without issue in past years. Not a good experience at all :(

- Long distances, give up the nice trucks - Check return locations take the truck you rented. Was turned away at the "assigned" return location, so we had to go to another one to return.

My only concern is in regards to the mobile app or customer service number. I followed the instructions on the app for taking a picture of the odometer & fuel gauge several times but it would not let me upload the picture. Calling in to customer service did not fair much better as the wait time was ten minutes. A chat response said it would be within a minute but I waited for five minutes with no response. We were trying to use these mobile after hours drop-off/check-in conveniences for at least 20 minutes with no result. This is most definitely not hassle-free after a long day of moving. Even the owner of the facility told us the mobile app was problematic when we picked up the truck. Otherwise, my dealings with real live U-Haul people has been ok.

I had never used a storage facility before and I was skeptical. I was very surprised at the ease of the rental process and the cleanliness of the facility. I would definitely use this (Kent) storage facility again.

The manager on duty was awesome. But I was unhappy with the service uhaul gave me. I was told that my pick up location for 1 of the 2 trucks I was picking up was changed no more than 18 hours before it was changed. The 2nd trucks location was changed right at the time I was picking up the 1st truck. Not very good customer service at all. I have a corporate account and I rent multiple trucks a month.

This location made an error in mileage causing me to be charged an overage of 125 dollars. Which I am still waiting for a refund days after my move! Caused my move to be very stressful. I will not use or recommend uhaul in the future. Poor customer service and experience.

The service was a bit wanting. The lady that took my details seemed like she was being rushed and had other places to be, even though my husband and I were the only cutomers there at the time. She took the form I filled in and botched all our names and contacts. Not sure whether she has a problem reading or just didn't like having us there. Anyway, I'm now going to have to correct all that in my next visit. Waste of time. The guy that showed us around though was awesome. He should get a raise.

Only issue i had was when i was going to unload stuff out of my truck onto a cart&take it inside to put in unit, but there was a young man inside the building that i wasnt sure about who he was or why he was standing there just inside the glass doors. I was alone, new to the place&at that moment, i was terrified So i just bagged it, decided i'd just wait until today&i left

Check in procedure seemed redundant. A lot of what they were filling out I already had completed online. Le personnel était amical et serviable. The price I ended up paying when I received the unit was $5 more than what my reservation stated. Nobody there had a definitive answer as to why. But, when you need a unit, and pretty much the whole center and town are booked up, you can't complain too much.

Had to wait 30 min to be assisted,the u-haul rep that I had was in training The Manager that was on duty/site,had to assist The UHaul Rep,was told I'd have 24hr access,to my unit when I reserved my unit,I then asked again about my 24hr access to my unit and first month free,I had to call the reservation line as trying to reserve online wasn't happening as it wouldn't let me select what unit I was trying to reserve online. I also asked The Manager and The other UHaul Representative if I had to 24hr access again before signing payment receipt. I feel I should be give another month free,as I paid for asked and was told that I had 24hr access, otherwise I'll go to another location,a better price and a refund.

Super clean and well lit. Lots of loading ramp options etc. Everyone working was soooooooo helpful.

Young people may know how to multitask w/ personal phone calls on their headsets while renting me a storage unit BUT it’s a little strange to determine if they are talking to me or on the phone.
