I would recommend the dings and dents to be looked over after every rental. There was sooo many scratches and dents on the rental that were not marked. Making sure ramps are fully functional before renting. If there is a dent in the floor to cover it to dollys don't get stuck in the dent when trying to move. Very dissatisfied. Would not recommend again nor am I coming back to this location. Money wasted and too much time taken up on things that were not working or an inconvenience to moving. Horrible.Alicia S.

I have used this location many times. Usually at the last moment and thy normally have something available for me to use. The employees are always helpful and nice. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with this particular location is, how long it takes to get the hold off your credit card if you decide to pay by cash once the equipment is returned. It takes 4- 7 business days for that money to be available to you again. For me, that means that I have to wait a week for my money to show available in my checking account. I had to move out after 7pm and the main doors to the storage were closed at that time, which is out of business hours for U-Haul, but not for their customers. Here is the situation: using the lateral door is a pain on the neck because you have to make sure the load was perfectly fitted to cart's size, otherwise you need to find ways to make it fit. Also, the lateral door should be only used for emergency as opposite to operational door. It is very difficult to get out specially when you have to move multiple carts at the same time. Also, there was a time when a lady tried to use their card and we were 'stuck' outside the warehouse for 20 minutes... yes, it is a security mechanism for U-Haul and very insensitive for customers waiting outside. I was there at 8pm awaiting for the door to open, while the GM was enjoying time with his children at home !!! U-Haul you could do better at balancing your Pentagon-like mechanism with a more sensible customer focus approach.Jose V. | Expérience générale

I went into the UHaul store and was trying to take care my reservation but the clerk was trying to assist her co-worker more than finishing her task with me. When I returned their truck I locked my backpack in the cab and realized it after I dropped the key in the drop box. I called that night and left a message for them about my dilemma and to let them know that I would be there in the morning. I showed up and asked for my backpack I accidentally locked in the rental truck the night before and was told that it was outside by the back parking lot door, which was unattended. I think this was very unprofessional and inconsiderate being that I just had spent over 300,00 $ to rent a UHAUL for 4 hrs. I think you need better Customer service skills, training on what to do with left behind property because Customer's pay your bills!!!Anrio A.
The service was a bit wanting. The lady that took my details seemed like she was being rushed and had other places to be, even though my husband and I were the only cutomers there at the time. She took the form I filled in and botched all our names and contacts. Not sure whether she has a problem reading or just didn't like having us there. We reserved a location in Bellevue a month in advance, then the day before our move we receive a call that we have to drive out to Federal Way to pick up our truck. This added quite a few miles to our trip. However, when we got to the Federal Way location we tried to pick up the truck using 24/7 pickup but it said that wasn't applicable at that location and to go inside for assistance. We went in but the gas station attendant told us they couldn't do anything since it's supposed to be through the app. We were on hold for 20 minutes until we got ahold of a representative who told us while our reservation was at the Federal Way location there wasn't actually a truck there for us. We were then told to go to a 3rd location in Auburn and finally got a truck an hour later than planned. Overall very disappointed with the service, especially when booked so far in advance.Timothy D.

Driver who delivered U-Boxes to Puyallup from Auburn (Yolanda) was wonderful, very courteous and professional, really appreciated her excellent service. The staff onsite at N. Auburn needs major improvement though. Very poor customer service skills and communication, inexcusably long waits on the phone and in person. Had an appointment set and confirmed 24 hours in advance to access my U-Boxes. I had to wait more than 45 min. after arriving for them to go and get the boxes (15 min. of that was waiting to find out why they weren't available). Manager made excuses. Glad I'll never have to visit N. Auburn location again. U-Haul has a lot of good people, but not at that location.Alan D.

This was the most frustrating experience I have had in a long time. While (on the most part, there were some exceptions) the employees were pleasant and helpful, the hoops I had to jump through was beyond ridiculous. From being on hold, several times, for more than 45 minutes (many times over an hour), to being transferred around from department to department, store to store, and the left hand of your company having no idea what the right hand was doing...it was painful. The employees did what they could, again for the most part, but it was obvious that they really had no idea what needed to be done. One of many examples: The U-Haul store told me I needed to call (and wait for 30+ minutes) to give the Moving Helpers department a number so that my stuff wouldn't be lost, and then the Mover Helpers department tell me he has no idea what I am talking about and didn't understand what that number was for. between this and other examples, I had to wonder why I, the customer, was the one that needed to chase around your company doing, what I would think, is your job. I could go on. But in good conscience, I can never recommend U-Haul's U-Box moving service to anyone.Thomas L.

The Benson Highway U Haul in Tucson lost our U Boxes, found them after 3 days, then sent 3 of ours and sent someone else's to Auburn with r boxes....so we had the regional office track it down. It was still in Tucson!! The people in the Tucson Benson Highway location were totally incompetent. We couldn't get them delivered to our address until August 6, so had to pay extra rent! Unfortunately, we have not had a good experience with U Haul.Holland S.

Reservation was made days earlier at another location. That location did not have equipment and I had to find a ride to this location. Pickup had the tail gait crushed and the damage not listed on your app. I tried to upload photos of the damage prior to accepting and the app did not work. The location owner told me the app was not working and not to worry about it. Fuel level listed on the rental form was taken with the truck parked on a slope. When I drove the truck onto level ground it was 1/4 tank below what was listed on the rental form, requiring me to spend extra money to return the false level.DAVID L.

My experience at the Auburn North location was (just) okay. But I had a TERRIBLE experience with the Save U More location in Kent, WA.!!! This is how I even ended up at the Auburn North store in the first place. We had a planned day to move my mom and had all of the helpers in place. My job was to get the uhaul truck, which I did 2 days in advance. I went to the assigned location given to me on my email confirmation to pick up the truck. Once I got there, the attendant said that I was at the wrong pick up location. I immediately went to the email that was sent to me and we WERE at the correct location. The attendant was NO help, had NO customer service. Anyway, there was NO TRUCK available to pick up in Kent, WA - and after running around and calling around we found a truck in Auburn, WA. wasting 2 hours. Terrible experience.DAWN C.

Pick up truck was a little dirty inside. The truck had damage on the right front fender and it appeared as they put it right back in to use with out fixing the problem. Part of the fender was on the front seat of the truck. The vehicle engine ran rough. I did not feel very safe while driving the truck. I didn't drive far and was able to complete my task.tyronne J.
Although the inside of the truck was very clean, the outside was dirty. The previous renter left his personal keys under the front seat and those were not discovered by the staff who apparently didn't check that common location to see if anything had been left. One of the female employees called me to ask me to look and gave me the contact number so I could get the keys to their owner. Tanner was VERY HELPFUL was wonderful helping me book a Uber to get back to my motel.He deserves a star on his Jobe performance report for customer service, as does the woman who called about the keys.GALE B.

The place was very clean with a state of the state of the art security system. I love the security card and how it worked. I put my lock on the latch after closing the door but forgot to slide the latch to the closed position. When I used my card to check out, it indicated my door was opened. I went back and it looked okY but after further inspection to lock was in place but the holes didn't line up so the door could still be opened even with the lock on tbd latch. The facility is amazing, the service is great, the storage is easy to load and unload into. The only issue I ran into was accessing the storage unit later in the evening, since we finished packing all of our stuff and loading it onto the UHAUL truck in one day it took a long time to finish, I had to return the truck by midnight and was under the impression that the storage would be open later in the evening, not necessarily midnight but 10PM seems reasonable (realistically I should have checked but I assumed). But unfortunately it closed at 8PM which is really early and so instead of being able to return the truck in time, I had to wait until the storage unit was open in the morning to load all of our stuff into the unit and return the truck. I'm so upset and my experience with uhaul was awful. First I had to be in the phone for an hour to talk to a real person. And they couldn't help me. Then they transferred me to some one who could help say in phone for another 45 mins. Person answered hello and click got disconnected. Called back and waiting again. Couldn't get a access code after we made reservations for a unit. And the lady that helped us talked so much about everything. Her husband finger got cut off. She went in and on about that. I had an outstanding experience using this local storage service. I'm very happy with the unit we had and how secure, accessible, and pleasant it was. My interactions with the staff here were wonderful, and I think this manager is doing an excellent job. My only complaints are at the corporate level. My first is communication accessibility. The customer service experience by phone is at best frustrating and at worst a complete failure. There really needs to be a local number for clients to use to ask questions, report issues, etc. My second issue is with the current trailer/truck shortage. It is is ridiculous to allow people to make reservations for trucks/trailers when you know you will not have them available. I would not have been notified until 3 days prior to our move that we would not have a trailer, and then would have been forced to use pods. Thankfully, I heard of this shortage early and was able to buy one of the handful of remaining trailers in our area, but it sickens me to think of the many people who didn't get this heads-up and were forced to pay much more for pods at the last minute. That feels so shady. Either do what you need to do to get trailers and trucks back to the locations that need them (hire drivers/shipping?) OR offer customers a price match for the available services. Without proper notice, it's unreasonable to treat customers with such disregard. It would be wonderful for Uhaul to care enough about their reputation for customer service that they took care of their customers in this way. The other thing (which I think is really beyond your control) is the size of parking lot/difficulty of space to maneuver. This is something I know you're aware of. As it is, I would use this location again and again for the staff experience and facility experience I had. I will not be looking at U-Haul on the other end of our move, because I don't want to deal with the corporate practices of your company again.HALEY M. | Expérience générale

I also asked The Manager and The other UHaul Representative if I had to 24hr access again before signing payment receipt. Surprise everything was move out last Monday and of Course it was empty for couple days then literally came by Sunday to let them know I wanted to terminated my account on Sunday. I Literally didn't have the chance to check it for the the last time but I guess its was rented out right away so I didn't see it for the last time! I would have given a 5 star review except for the fact that staff told me they have no lock removal help when I lost both sets of keys from the padlock I bought there, the day before I terminated my agreement with them, again I asked if they had staff that could help remove the padlock, staff said said yes, but for a 50 $fee, I rented for 6 mos. , I ended up buying a lock picking set off amazon and was able to pick that piece of crap lock in two minutes, anyway, nice facility, but staff should help reach out to people who have issues such as this.Walter H. | Expérience générale

This has literally got to be the dumbest UHaul location I've ever met in my life. Not only did they never pay any attention but I flew over there and signed a piece of paper to close everything and donate my items. They continued for years after to tell me I was still being charged and the storage unit was still being held. They continued to call everyone I knew that they had a phone number for. I called so many times to clear it up until I could no longer deal with their stupidity. How the heck this place is still running with the same management, I do not know. I would like say thank u the storage i had was for some one that was in need and dident have anywere to go or put his stuff im sad that we never got it switch in his name i thought he was a friend but he was only useing me and your storage unit .at the time i thought is was the right thing to do but in the end its my name and my problem it dident get paid luckly nothing was mine u guys were the best u informed me tons of times u were two nice u gave me and my friend more then enuff time to pay gave diffrent way s to pay u were never rude and wont to say that im sorry and this place is the best place to store your stuff .its heated the prices are great the staff is never trying to bother u there is nice bathrooms that some people disrespect there sould be card swips at them so u can try to pin point the ones miss useing something that is a blessing to have not one but two .theres nothing bad i can say other then the few people that miss use it .i messed up by helping some one that i sould of not helped and he lost his stuff and i wish i never did that and thank thank thank uhaul and hats down to every one who works there and the new people that watch the place at night they are perfect for your place and they are there for u guys and that was a great thing for that place .thank u again and if anyone needs a place to store there stuff this is the only place u sould go .#1Patrick B. | Expérience générale

Besides them breaking the contract every month. The units were okay. The groups of tweakers that shave and shower in the bathroom. Took a week and a half to get someone on the phone to let them know I'd vacated my unit. Stopped by a few times, too. Waited 15 min at least and left because in was tired of waiting.
