i returned the uhaul at 530pm on the 13th. keys were dropped in slot. my receipt notes uhaul returned the next day at 11:48 am which is not correct. i was charged for a second day of rental which i do not find fair. the contract says if returned after hours its a 20 charge not an additional 93,8 i am beyond disappointedYVONNE W.

The facility is amazing, the service is great, the storage is easy to load and unload into. The only issue I ran into was accessing the storage unit later in the evening, since we finished packing all of our stuff and loading it onto the UHAUL truck in one day it took a long time to finish, I had to return the truck by midnight and was under the impression that the storage would be open later in the evening, not necessarily midnight but 10PM seems reasonable (realistically I should have checked but I assumed). But unfortunately it closed at 8PM which is really early and so instead of being able to return the truck in time, I had to wait until the storage unit was open in the morning to load all of our stuff into the unit and return the truck. Delivery of one set of four U-Haul boxes was changed 48 hours before anticipated delivery date. We had a scheduled moving truck with four people from another company arriving that day to move two apartments-worth of household goods and storage goods from U-Haul on the same day! My husband had to be at the new house to accept the delivery, so my daughter and I didn't have his help with all of the physical move. Customer service was good but difficult on U-Haul's part because our initial four boxes were stored in July 2019 and the second four boxes in October 2019. Different individuals on the phone were confused by us having two contracts. We paid a lot of money for this storage from July 2019 until June 2021 and are now being charged an additional month's rent for one set of four boxes! Personnel are great. Equipment showing signs of age. Roll up door was not easily opened. Side marker lights not working. Appliance dolly had poor strap design. It appeared pretty new, but was poor design ( did not want to lock)James H.
The mobile app didn't allow us to dispute the condition of the truck and upload our own photos, so we had to go inside to talk to someone anyway. This isn't the fault of the U-haul location, but it took more time getting the truck than it should have.Austin S.

The facility is clean and very secure. The system alerted me that my door was still open when I used my access card to check out, not realizing I put the lock on but did not slide the bar to make sure the latch was secured. Check in and picking up the truck was confusing. Instructions were not clear. People who were renting at the same time as me were just as confused. Staff were not friendly. It took almost 2 hours from check in to getting the truck which cut into the rental time. I said no to insurance and I was still charged 14 $. Overall, poor experience. Check in procedure seemed redundant. A lot of what they were filling out I already had completed online. Le personnel était amical et serviable. The Phone customer service people I had issues with in the beginning. Cindy the driver dropping off my boxes and picking up my boxes is Fabulous. She goes above and beyond! If it wasn't for her and I would be giving the company a Terrible Review!! She is what makes the company great and fixed all my issues! If you Lose her your company will go in the Toilet!! She makes things right and great!! I can't say enough about how wonderful she was and fixed my problems with my boxes. You have One Wonderful Employee!!! I am a supervisor and work with people all day and if I had an employee like her she is one I'd Love to clone! She is worth Gold! She truly makes your company Great!!! I waved all additional coverages and was charged 14 $/day for something called Safe Move. 1hr on hold to connect with someone not at the local branch and was told they will request the manager to call me within e business days. I'm so upset and my experience with uhaul was awful. First I had to be in the phone for an hour to talk to a real person. And they couldn't help me. Then they transferred me to some one who could help say in phone for another 45 mins. Person answered hello and click got disconnected. Called back and waiting again. Couldn't get a access code after we made reservations for a unit. And the lady that helped us talked so much about everything. Her husband finger got cut off. She went in and on about that. There were 8 to 9 people waiting. Some walked out. And out truck rental. A/C didn't work. Oh and a lot of problems. I don't complain ever. But worse experience ever.JOY S. | Premières impressions

Hire enough qualified people to service the customers. Your profit margin is plenty high enough. I have used Uhaul extensively over the years and I have watched customer service steadily deteriorate over the years. At this point I will spend thousands more to keep from using your company. I know you company policy is â€œit's better to lose 15-20 % of your customers to reap your profitsâ€. So I also know you don't care about my rating or comments!!John A.

This location's service was excellent, my experience with the U-Haul as a whole was terrible. I scheduled a truck at the federal way super storage for 10am, arrived and was informed that there were no trucks, and there was no record of my reservation. The desk clerk called Jeremy at the U-Haul, who first transferred my reservation to the Fife location. Fife did not have a truck for me either. Then it was revealed to me that the only trucks available were at the Auburn location. So I drove back to auburn and finally picked up my truck, killing two hours of valuable moving time. I never received any apology or offer to make it right, which was further compounded by having to wait on hold and listen to your bullshit about â€œkeeping your promisesâ€ on loop for 15 minutes both times. I would rather crawl through fire ants in assless chaps than spend money with your pathetic excuse for a service provider ever again.James R.

The Auburn folx were great! However, this review is for the customer service 800 # after hours is a 1hr plus hold; and they still can't figure the issue of â€œreturn rentalâ€ using your online system. We had to try 3 different phones, 3 different web browser and still no online support. We figured it out on our own after 1hr 45mins. and we're still on hold for someone from the safe whatever department. Ridiculous.TAFFY J.

It took 40 calls to get ahold of the location in one day, and it was hard to get ahold of the location on a number of occasions - with no alternative to contact the store for the service I was looking for. Location or equipment is ok but your customers services is very rude and unprofessional act like. When I went to pickup trailer, your customer service try to charge extra for insurance coverage without my knowledge, until I realize it and confronted him to remove it. When I returned a trailer that afternoon I also experienced unprofessional and uncontrolled frustratied and unhappy customer service. She just walked up to trailer without greeting or looked at me to acknowledge that she going to unhook a trailer. She acted unprofessional as she jerk a connections wire by rocking back and forth to forces out the connections. She can easily damages the wires hookup on my truck by the way she does it. As I was leaving I ask her if we are all done? She replied with very screaming loud voice yes!! And I said thank you. Again she scream loudly you welcome!!! Not one does she ever show the happiness or welcome atmosphere to this location. I would not have someone acted like this to be working for my company. Quoted and reserved price didn't include all charges. I was charged an additional 500 $after uhaul had possession of my items. Also not mentioned during the reservation, the fact that uhaul doesn't actually cover the area I moved to... leaving me to rent another uhaul to tow my uboxes. Worst moving experience ever. Most customers won't report a malfunction on a truck, fearing they will be blamed and charged for it. Your yard people need to take the trucks out and actually test drive them from time to time to make sure they are running right. The one I had seemed to be running on 7 cylinders and was doing some back firing when I'd let off the foot feed. Also sounded like the muffler had a hole in it. When I informed the yard person, I'm not sure she really understood (or maybe she was busy and didn't care) what I was saying.Gary C.
I have still not received my box. Today is May 19th and the guaranteed arrival date was May 15th. I have made multiple phone calls and no one seems to know for certain where the box is. I had an outstanding experience using this local storage service. I'm very happy with the unit we had and how secure, accessible, and pleasant it was. My interactions with the staff here were wonderful, and I think this manager is doing an excellent job. My only complaints are at the corporate level. My first is communication accessibility. The customer service experience by phone is at best frustrating and at worst a complete failure. There really needs to be a local number for clients to use to ask questions, report issues, etc. My second issue is with the current trailer/truck shortage. It is is ridiculous to allow people to make reservations for trucks/trailers when you know you will not have them available. I would not have been notified until 3 days prior to our move that we would not have a trailer, and then would have been forced to use pods. Thankfully, I heard of this shortage early and was able to buy one of the handful of remaining trailers in our area, but it sickens me to think of the many people who didn't get this heads-up and were forced to pay much more for pods at the last minute. That feels so shady. Either do what you need to do to get trailers and trucks back to the locations that need them (hire drivers/shipping?) OR offer customers a price match for the available services. Without proper notice, it's unreasonable to treat customers with such disregard. It would be wonderful for Uhaul to care enough about their reputation for customer service that they took care of their customers in this way. The other thing (which I think is really beyond your control) is the size of parking lot/difficulty of space to maneuver. This is something I know you're aware of. As it is, I would use this location again and again for the staff experience and facility experience I had. I will not be looking at U-Haul on the other end of our move, because I don't want to deal with the corporate practices of your company again.HALEY M. | Expérience générale

Our 1st reservation was scheduled for another location. We went to pick up and keys for truck weren't there. We then sat on hold for over 40 mins trying to get ahold of someone that could help us. We paid movers starting at 8:30am and didn't get back to the house to pack truck until almost 11am. Meaning we had to pay several hundred more dollars for our move. Worst experience EVER. Unsatisfied and will be contacting for a full reimbursement of your services. Had to wait 30 min to be assisted,the u-haul rep that I had was in training The Manager that was on duty/site,had to assist The UHaul Rep,was told I'd have 24hr access,to my unit when I reserved my unit,I then asked again about my 24hr access to my unit and first month free,I had to call the reservation line as trying to reserve online wasn't happening as it wouldn't let me select what unit I was trying to reserve online. I also asked The Manager and The other UHaul Representative if I had to 24hr access again before signing payment receipt. My family have been very stressed over the mortgage lending issues that have been going on. Because the closing date was pushed back, we had no clue what to do. Amber, she made our day. It was a great experience for two years! Enjoy it! Surprise everything was move out last Monday and of Course it was empty for couple days then literally came by Sunday to let them know I wanted to terminated my account on Sunday. I Literally didn't have the chance to check it for the the last time but I guess its was rented out right away so I didn't see it for the last time! I would have given a 5 star review except for the fact that staff told me they have no lock removal help when I lost both sets of keys from the padlock I bought there, the day before I terminated my agreement with them, again I asked if they had staff that could help remove the padlock, staff said said yes, but for a 50 $fee, I rented for 6 mos. , I ended up buying a lock picking set off amazon and was able to pick that piece of crap lock in two minutes, anyway, nice facility, but staff should help reach out to people who have issues such as this.Walter H. | Expérience générale

This has literally got to be the dumbest UHaul location I've ever met in my life. Not only did they never pay any attention but I flew over there and signed a piece of paper to close everything and donate my items. They continued for years after to tell me I was still being charged and the storage unit was still being held. They continued to call everyone I knew that they had a phone number for. I called so many times to clear it up until I could no longer deal with their stupidity. How the heck this place is still running with the same management, I do not know. Besides them breaking the contract every month. The units were okay. The groups of tweakers that shave and shower in the bathroom. Having the uhaul and storage in the same place was very convenient. Staff was very kind and helpful. On complaint is the lights turn off and the unit and "hallway" goes black? I pre-booked a specific storage facility a couple of weeks in advance. When I arrived they had no record or could not give me the unit I booked.... which was the only reason I booked this particular location. Staff seemed frustrated at this, like somehow it's my problem they couldn't give me what I booked.
