Very friendly staff I feel bad I forget her name but she alone was enough to make me rent U-Haul at the Hanover location. I was checked in with a very friendly attitude and very efficiently.

I would suggest that UHaul reviews their policy regarding customers who return the vehicles with more gas in it than when they picked it up. A credit should be given to the customer in circumstances like this. In this case when the van was picked up it was at the7/8 mark but the tank was totally full when returned. The agent who was there when the vehicle was returned stated we don't do that!

The gates didn't work sometimes but overall the place was clean people were friendly and helpful. U haul itself shouldn't keep raising the rents on spaces that's a huge turn off. Just because you have a unit for an extended time should not mean the price goes up every year.

I book my rentals at Hingham MA ! Phone pick up option is pure Garbage, couldn't locate my location so my rental process stuck there! Customer service was pure nonsense and without any knowledge, They sent me to another location further down that means more miles more money but nobody took responsibility for screw up and charge me for additional mileage I made thanks to U haul broken application! When app tells you, you aren't at location at 4 Whiting st Hingham MA and you hit that location, it actually shows location of that address is somewhere in Arizona!! Of course I am not in Arizona! What a garbage Company! Nothing surprised me all those big fat companies should be avoided as they become rich they forgot on people that made them rich! Pathetic!

When dropping off the truck and car transport, we parked in the area indicated for drop off. The keys were turned over and inspection was completed. However, the female agent then asked if we could park it elsewhere for her because she didn't know how to drive it with a trailer. Really?!

Overall bad experience. No one contacted me before reservation. Showed up and did not have a truck ready. Rep was very helpful but was also unprofessional. Overheard speaker phone conversation and was not appropriate from a customer perspective.

I was there to rent a trailer, and at every part of the process she was kind, knowledgeable, good-humored and patient, answering my every question and giving great advice. Please review your hired moving help. The movers broke one of my items which cannot be fixed and scratched several furniture pieces without using 2 bags of blankets provided!!! They just piled items one on top of the other!!! U Haul truck and personnel were excellent but movers 

My storage unit on the ground floor was soaked wet. This is the second time I went through this problem at the Hanover location . The lady working as a caller inside offered me skids to put my table and chairs on. So I took her offer. Although I had to go back a few times and open the garage to let the water dry out. First off, the application for self check in is terrible. I thought I would give it a go this time. It was so bad that I went in and did the regular check-in. Also, was told that the vehicle had 3/4 of a tank of gas, it was actually under 1/2. I did fill it up to full upon return though. So that was a little bit of a bummer as I spent more on gas filling it up than I did on the actual rental. I've been using this location for years and was a bit disappointed by the gas and app issues. Otherwise, everything was great! The manager at this location as well as the rest of the staff are a pleasure to deal with.

I only use the Hanover location. The staff is friendly and efficient. I'm in and out with paperwork, the truck is always clean and ready to go. I rent a truck about 4 times a year with college kids.

This has always been very good. This time I waited till after they opened to return my trailer. Sign on door said be right back, but no one ever came back. I dropped off as if after hours. Easy enough, but I would have dropped off two hours earlier if I thought I would have to do the unattended checkout with photos, etc. will still use them for my next rental!

Instead of dropping the truck off the next morning like we planned, we did it at the end of the day. We drove to the drop off location and pulled right in line. We did the on line app checkout and we're on our way in 10 minutes

It's a small location that can only serve one customer at a time. But the staff is friendly and serves its customers as fast or faster than U-Haul locations with multiple staff members.

My experience with the Hanover, MA UHaul office was excellent. The employee who checked me in in the morning was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful as was the employee when I returned the rental. The next time I require a moving vehicle, I will not hesitate to return to the Hanover office.

People are great here - my truck was really old and in rough shape (almost 100 000 miles and the driver’s door wont close properly)

There was an apple air tag on the uhaul that my phone detected which caused concern. Additionally, we were given two trucks that had low tire pressure and it took longer than anticipated to pick up the truck.

Horrible service. A big sign posted for $94,95/month but the "manager" there didn't honor the sign they put out telling me that it was the wrong sign they put out. I even have a picture of the sign in front of the office but they lied about it. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone

I stored with Uhaul for 9 months. The elevators and elevator doors were never repaired, even though elevator access was promised.

Overhead door to elevator was not functioning causing access to load cart to be challenging due to gate/door opening area is tight and elevator stop is not at ground level. Taylor has excellent people skills, communicates clearly and patiently responds to all questions. helpful.

When we first put our things onto storage the garage door for the LIFT was broken so we had to figure away around that to get our heavy things up to the second floor. On our move out day the garage door broken and the lift was broken so we had to move our stuff from the second floor down the stairs. What could have been a horrible experience was turned into an overall good one thanks to the person who was working when I checked-in, Kenysha Watkins. Technology seemed to fail and the whole experience took longer than hoped and expected, but Kenysha was awesome and left me walking away satisfied instead of annoyed and angry. Without her it would have been a very different experience, in the worst way.

My unit had a light in it that never worked even after I changed the lightbulb. Also my stuff got moldy had to throw some stuff out but maybe that happens because it's a garage unit type.

All in all we have had a great moving experience with the u-haul family, especially in N.Hanover,MA. Picked up a trailer in S.C. to move our daughter back to MA, and used the storage facility in N.Hanover. Everyone has been very helpful and efficient. Thanks to all!!

I have used this facility for approximately seven years, with the fee starting at $95. Incremental increases escalated the monthly fee to $135, a 42 % increase ! Located on the second floor, there have been ongoing issues with either the elevator and/or the garage door function. Though of late, "perhaps" labor issues/covid might be a reason for the lack of a fix, this was going on long before covid hit. Management was sympathetic, but there did not seem to be corporate support/concern. It was not until I raised the issue to corporate more than once, that a credit was issued, but still not fixed as of yesterday. Hopefully this gets to the right people so this facility can be brought to a proper standard.

During the reservation process it was communicated to me that there would be one month free storage for a one way rental and return at this location. I confirmed on the phone my reservation and when I went to return my truck and use my storage unit the employee told me that I didn't have a reservation. It took about half an hour additional on a busy moving day to get this unit set up. I wasn't able to then use my free month of storage so I was promised that the charge should be reversed "when my boss comes" as I had to pay up front. I never received a key card or pin to access the unit so I had to be asked to be let in. The garage door had a broken sensor so we were unable to close the door when we left. I called multiple times in the following weeks after I didn't receive my refund and was unable to get through to someone due to long wait times that I could not accommodate. When I did finally move out and asked the local facility about my refund of the charge on my credit card which was less than three weeks prior I was told "it was too late" to do anything about it. I would not recommend them for storage to anyone.

I understand I did not have a climate control unit but for the floor to be completely soaked with an oily greasy substance that caused mold on everything in my storage unit to the point where I had to throw everything away is a bit much. I don't know if they need to seal their doors better or get some sort of dehumidify thing system but all of the property was destroyed. The staff member on duty anytime I went was incredibly rude, like I was inconveniencing her for asking her to do her job. I would suggest a different storage unit company

My things were in a 30 ft storage unit for 2 months ans were completely ruined after a lot of water got in. My things were riddled with mold. The doors had been changed 3 weeks prior to discovering the water and I was never notified of a problem. I was told there has not been a water or fire problem in over 10 years so I did not get insurance. I plan on filing a claim

I would give an excellent rating but there was an equipment failure at the facility. The elevator on the Second level wouldn't work which is very inconvenient for me and I had to load the conveyor that was further away, twice, just to get to my storage unit. The manager was unable to initiate at pass card as the readers weren't working that day. She went above and beyond to help me and I thought she could really use more help. I think Kaneshya was outstanding!!!!

I can't say enough good things about this U-Haul office. My experience was just perfect. Both before and after I had my unit I stopped into the office a number of times to buy moving supplies, ask questions, etc. The staff at this U-Haul office is uniformly pleasant, well-informed, and helpful. They helped me make economical choices about packing materials, and gave me good advice on how to manage my daughter's upcoming move ... which may involve renting a U-Box. I was SO HAPPY with this U-Haul office. You should try them! And thank you U-Haul, again.

I made a storage reservation a month in advance and when I arrived I was told the storage unit I reserved was not available which I feel is totally unacceptable. The staff member I dealt with was great and found an alternate solution but it was not what I initially reserved.

Couple of notes: 1. there was moisture in the storage area and cardboard boxes didn't hold up very well. Also - some fabric had mold due to the moisture and some furniture had a musty smell. 2. There was no lights inside the storage unit, so could only visit it during daylight hours. 3. Most of the staff were nice and helpful, however, were not well versed on UHaul's on-line systems. It took me a few months to figure out how to pay the rent on-line as the staff couldn't help me and I had to figure it out myself. 4. The gate to access the storage units was kept open during the day most of the times I visited in the summer. There was staff on hand, but no-one stopped to ask us for ID, etc. I understood that the unit was not climate controlled when I rented it, but did not know that dampness would be an issue and for that I would be reluctant to recommend to others.

I would not only recommend your Hanover Manager as a best in Class, but she shows what true customer service is all about. Our reserved unit was given away and we didn't find out until our shipping container arrived and we were without a unit. The elevator was broken, our key card didn't work, and there is no ramp to easily access the elevator using the carts which made moving heavy objects very difficult.

The elevator was almost alway broken. When you go to the office and inquire about when it would be fixed. Attitude is all you ever got. Not friendly ever. Front gate broken half the time. When checking out, And cleaning out my unit I swept up a lot of mice poop. Hope nothing is damaged. I asked about a partial refund since we paid for t full month on the ninth and checked out on the 18th. The lady said " well you have to contact corporate I think they may prorate". I have had this unit for almost 10 years never missed a payment never later on a payment, dealt with broken elevators and uncaring staff and I have to contact corporate for partial refund for the part of the month I didn't use?? Unbelievable

Helpful staff stayed late to unhitch my towed car. A young man helped me load heavy furniture onto the elevator and moving dollies. But, I paid for 24-hour access, magnetic stripe card didn't work!

Ian is the only good staff member here. Other than that, the experience was terrible, it was costly, the other staff and manager were rude. This is NOT a good facility, I recommend going elsewhere.
