I have rented from this location on many occasions. Every time, when I walk into the front office, there is nobody around and I end up standing around for 5 to 10 minutes with no indication that any employees are even around. I recognize that the attendants are busy with other customers at peak pickup times, but this location does seem constantly understaffed.

Was told to just park the truck and that I would be emailed. Was told to leave the keys in the truck. Would have preferred to have had a receipt saying I dropped off the truck so if damage had occurred or was stolen it couldn’t have been my responsibility.

Horrible experience from start to finish. Didn't have trailer I requested so moved me up one size which was fine because the price difference was $20. They did a discount of $20 to reflect the difference. When they charged my account they did two separate charges and one of the charges was for the discount so I ended up getting charged the extra 20 that they were supposed to discount. Tried calling the location but was forced to talk to customer service. Was told I have to file a complaint and would hear back 3-4 business days. I pointed out that the CONTRACT that I signed was for 84.95 but again they added the extra 20 back on. Staff at the North Lansing location are a complete joke. Two of them kept telling me that they are new. Utility trailer had straw and dirt in it. When I returned the trailer I pulled in and they said, "hold on, i'll get it off the hitch and you are good to go. I asked do I need to check in and they said no, the trailer looked good and they will process my paper work. Four hours later I get a call from the location and they ask "did you return a trailer". I explained the whole scenario and she said "oh we had the wrong trailer number written down". So now I'm still charged the extra 20 and have to wait 4 days just to find out if they will reverse it even though it's on the contract I signed. What a joke this place is....BUYER BEWARE and make sure you watch everything they do and don't leave until you watch them charge your account and verify it's what your contract says or they will scam you as well....

U-haul was closed when I returned the trailer. The internet check-in was not functioning. I had to call Monday morning to make sure that everything was ok.

Slow service. Some staff members more knowledgable and helpful than others. Trailer was dirty, especially in corners. Trailer also leaked while driving through rain, covering my belongings in a spray of dirty water. Ordered a dozen furniture pads, only received 11. Half of them were wet and could not be used.

Better truck location as to where to find the car instead of running around the lot trying every key. Also updating the website for photo verification because it lags and does not work.

I call for set up a reservation you didn't tell me you would take money off twice I new you said 20.00 than it would be 99 cent a mile so I didn't no you was calculated the mile and how would I if I never told u were I would be moving to.so I'm just waiting for the 15 to get add back on cause u also put me in over draft on my bank I would not tell anyone to rent a truck from how I was done than you send Victoria an email when she just drove the truck I'm disabled and if you wanted to send her email should had ask her what her email was.

It was very busy and there seemed to be some unexpected turnover in Management and staffing. New Manager was good and seemed to be passionate about her job. Two workers were very friendly/helpful.

Calling Uhaul for access for Ubox 24 hours in advance did not actually put me on a schedule for local forklifters, staff was frustrated. Male staff unprofessional. One swore at me on Dec. 15.

Alex went out of his way to help when our cargo van's electrical didn't work when towing Uboxes. Ended up renting a truck on a very busy college move in weekend. Very helpful staff!

This branch has been stealing money from my credit card; they have made 5 random transactions on my credit card totaling almost $200 and only 3 of them have been refunded. They refuse to call me back.
