GREGORY D.Trucks need more thorough safety inspection. Steering was dangerously loose, brakes were very unresponsive, and the transmission regularly got stuck in gears when trying to decelerate down hills.
RAYMOND M.Check tounge height is correct with empty trailer and remove chalks before letting the trailer be moved. 1st time towing and it went smoothly but the nose was always pointing down.
GREGORY W.My larger 26-ft truck definitely had some engine issues. Maybe a vacuum hose needs to be replaced? The truck ran, but bounced like crazy at certain speeds (around 35mph) that definitely came from the engine. Also, it whistled like a tea kettle with a megaphone around there too. But overall, it was good.

KIM T.How can you rent a "4x7" trailer if the cargo area is ~38" wide? Thankfully I was moving something 32" wide, but seriously the trailer was about 10" narrower than expected.

GARY B.I left some personal belongings in the van on return, and they contacted me before I was able to get home (minutes after I left the office). They held the item they had found, and I picked it up when the office opened the next day. The manager had an assistant show me to the van and found the other item which had been left on the floor between the seats (returned after dark - a dark item on a dark floor in an unlighted van).

Agents said it was registered… and even thought it wasn't necessary to register. It was a 6x12 trailer rented in NH registered in PA. Nice person. Nice place. Equipment needs more attention

MICHAEL M.Customer service is the absolute worst, rude, angry and obviously unhappy with their job, never explained any contract information, the gentleman that assisted us outside moved from trailer to trailer causing me to move my truck several times, his attitude was equally as poor as the women inside. I rented a week earlier at another Nashua location and they were excellent to work with. Stay away from the DW highway location.

MONIQUE H.The only issue I have is that the windshield had what looked like unrinsed soap streaks from being washed. While I was driving to return the van, it was raining and the streaks did not go away. I wiped a spot on the inside and the streaks were definitely on the outside.

NICOLA M.My truck broke down. I tried to fix it, and move it and couldn't. I blocked a business entrance/exit and was yelled at by them, their customers, and other delivery drivers. Could not get truck started for over 1 hour and 20 minutes. Called for service, it was a nightmare. Finally, a company came after 35 minutes to jump the truck. Businesses not happy I blocked their business. Returned truck to get a new one. Trucks lined out to the main road. Very dangerous, as no where to park truck. New truck was given. Smelled of smoke very very strong. Given all that I went trhough and only went 14 miles, when I returned truck, I was charged? I was not happy, given the circumstances. Uhaul delayed my day, gave me a defective truck, and I endured hassles from businesses, customers, etc. which I should not have to have endured. I am handicapped/disabled, and there was no rush to come and address broken down truck. The Uhaul facility, to make it up to me, did not charge me the very few miles I went in the first truck? Really? No, I should not have been charged for the first truck, nor the second truck I was given. The whole thing was not good. I was charged $71,9 which I should not have been. Will share my comments with Uhaul Corporate.
